Jayne gave me one of the best massages I have ever had in my life!! She is clearly super knowledgeable and passionate about her work. The way she worked out my knots and intuitively worked on my back was amazing. I have a weird rib situation that I forgot to tell her about and I think she fixed it?! I wish I lived in Jersey City just so that I could get more massages from her. Life changing. Super fair prices, beautiful, peaceful location. Highly recommend. read more

Elite experience! This is why I'm coming back: - beautiful studio and relaxing atmosphere - when you book the appointment, you can choose if want to chat or not during the massage (I don't) and how much pressure you like (a LOT for me) - massage therapist greeted me on time and took me back right away - massage room was so cozy and the table was incredibly comfortable - massage was amazing and Leslie got in DEEP just like I'd asked for - was basically in a trance when I left because I felt so good Def recommend! read more

This place is lovely! I came in with extreme pain when I had my first session here, Yeni was my therapist. She was wonderful, we started with a thorough consultation and she did her thing. She was amazing and very informative. I booked for 90mins but felt the session may have been cut short by 10mins, but I considered that maybe consultation was part of it. She helped me with my targeted areas so and felt great, so it wasn't an issue. After my session I had the opportunity to meet Meghan, which is the owner. She's such a welcoming person, I loved the vibe so much I decided to sign up for membership. For my second time around here I booked myself with Mark for 90 mins. My goal for this one was just to relax. I asked for a medium pressure and the only pointers I gave him is I'm on my feet alot. He gave me a full body massage, I loved his pace and techniques. He listened to my request which I appreciate. He knew what to do, I felt happy and relaxed physically and mentally. Definitely recommend! read more

Found this gem last year and have been going monthly for a message with Meghan. Absolutely the best massage ever and really beautiful space. They also host really lovely sound baths and full/new moon ceremonies. Couldn't recommend more!! Also the lady with their one bad review just likes to complain if you check out her other posts :) read more

Words cannot describe how incredible my first session with Meghan was. We sat together for about 15 mins prior to the massage for an in-depth consultation, where we discussed my concerns, pain points, and goals for the session. Meghan made me feel so comfortable and seen. This was the best massage experience in my life! I would recommend her to ANYONE. Meghan is so knowledgable and it's evident how much care and effort she puts into each of her clients' experiences. The massage session was incredible, relaxing (I even dozed off a few times!), and overall rejuvenating. I will definitely be back. Looking forward to continuing my sessions with Meghan! read more

Latasha was AMAZING! Had a wonderful experience and massage. The space was very cute, calming, and clean. Enjoyed it and her so much I decided to become a member and see her minimum monthly. You won't regret giving her and the business a try! read more

I don't normally write yelp reviews, but I wanted to take the time to shoutout Carleigh. I went in today for a 30 minute session with her and she was so knowledgeable and talented. I have a tremendous amount of tension and muscle pain and she really took the time to work with me. This was truly one of the best massages I have ever gotten. The setting is cozy and serene. I will definitely be back. read more

Meta Bodywork is a wellness haven! The space is gorgeous, airy and clean-- and the only place I have trusted for bodywork during the pandemic. Meghan is the best massage therapist. She is truly skilled and helps address several areas of chronic tension, and even helped me figure out the root of issues caused by an ergonomically incorrect desk set up. I always leave feeling a hundred times better. If you're lucky you'll get to meet the pup Simone, who will greet you enthusiastically and then quietly chill out during your massage. read more

This place is unreal! All of the therapists are highly skilled body workers & super helpful when it comes to alleviating pain, tension, & stress! Plus Simone is cute! ‍ read more

Meghan is awesome! She's a structural specialist (as well as a ton of other specialties) and was the first person in the 16 years I've been getting bodywork to diagnose and treat a troublesome issue with my achilles tendons. Best in the area by far. read more

As soon as I stepped off the elevator my relaxation experience began. As a new mommy all over again I was in need of relaxation and self care. My massage therapist Latasha delivered. My massage was so relaxing and she really focused on the areas that bothered me. I can't wait to return. read more

Extremely impressed with the skill and knowledge Meghan possesses. I've had low back pain on and off for 10 years and have yet to meet a massage therapist that can help me as much as Meghan has. Even through the quarantine, I have been having virtual sessions with her and learning about what I can do to manage my pain at home and it has been extremely helpful. Highly recommend. read more

Meghan is the best masseuse I have ever been treated by. She goes well beyond simply giving a massage and takes the time to discuss how our bodies function and actions I can take day-to-day to improve my function. I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed with much less pain. Her studio is cozy and she frequently hosts sound baths that are soothing and special. And beyond all that, she is just such a lovely and cool person! read more

They cancelled our appointment and never followed up with a rescheduling like they promised. I contacted multiple times with no response. Scammers! read more

Working at a desk all day, I like to get a monthly massage to loosen up my neck and back muscles. I had my first massage at Meta Bodywork with Carleigh, and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. She was very knowledgeable and understood my pain points. I will definitely be back! read more

I had a massage with Mark. Great experience. Beautiful space.

Meghan and Meta Bodywork are worth your time and your money!!! I've been coming regularly for over a year now and can honestly say that my life has staunchly improved for the better since. I have less pain, more serenity, and even an understanding of *why* certain adjustments/work was necessary to improve my overall wellbeing because of the wealth of wisdom Meghan shares beyond standard massage techniques/muscular structure. In a time when so many interactions (especially when exchanging services) feel lifeless and empty, Meghan brings her whole self and it's abundantly clear her passion and dedication for what she does. Run, don't walk, to her and to Meta. You will not regret it. read more

I walk and run daily and the massage I got from Meghan really made a huge difference. Her knowledge of anatomy and body movement/habits is really something special that I have never experienced with another massage therapist. Not to mention she made me feel super comfortable and safe about getting a massage now that things are reopening from COVID. Highly highly recommend! read more

Meta Bodywork was amazing. It was my first lymphatic drainage massage and I loved it. Meghan was great!

Thank you MetaBW. I cant believe i let my back get this bad. I could barely walk before Megan was able to help. She also pointed out something interesting about my posture that was causing recurring lower back issues. I didnt know having a weak glute could cause so much damage. Megan gave me some good workout tips and its making a huge difference. Thank you! read more

Meghan is a rock star. I am a marathon runner (5 a year) and I know massage is critical in my recovery. It is extremely difficult to find a therapeutic massage therapist with the knowledge in movement that Meghan has. I will definitely be coming regularly. read more

Love this place. Beautiful and relaxing massage rooms with soft tables and lots of light. Carleigh is fantastic and knows how to ease into the tough knots throughout my body. Easy to see why I became a member. read more

Meta was referred by a prenatal massage therapist who's no longer active, and they delivered. Latasha did a great job, adjusting pressure when requested and focusing on problem spots I flagged. I loved being able to lie face down, and the space is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. read more

Amazing massages! I am a member here and have been to multiple massage therapists and they have all been incredible. And the space is super cozy and relaxing! Highly recommend. read more

I have been to a number of massage therapists over the years, but absolutely none hold a candle to Meghan's thorough knowledge and insight into how to heal. Her ability to tackle chronic tension in a holistic and progressive way has been a game changer for me. When COVID hit, her virtual instruction in self massage was so helpful in such tense times. I was also fortunate to expand our work into movement where she was able to provide prenatal yoga and movement customized for my pregnancy progression, which demonstrably improved my strength and comfort. The impact of her guidance cannot be measured and the extent to which I believe she is a beneficial asset to her clients cannot be overstated. Highest recommendation possible. read more
