Jessica gave me an amazing deep tissue massage - arguably one of the best massages i have ever gotten. a very cute little no-frills space

What I got: 60 min Body/Swedish Massage ($60) Aya's take: I need to add a monthly massage to my calendar! I was looking for an Asian massage spot and came across Je & Ce Spa. I like that you can text to make your appointment; I was able to do that the evening before and got the time I wanted! It's definitely a no frills spot - practical set up, minimal decor, and clean but basic. You don't really get the full "zen" experience but the masseuse was strong and targeted my pressure points. I didn't like that they basically got started without asking me which areas to focus on or for my preferred pressure. I had to proactively tell them and even then, the majority of the time spent on the massage wasn't on my target areas mentioned. The other masseuse was talking quite a bit and pretty loudly which took away from the experience. They should be more mindful of that considering most people get a massage as a form of relaxation. Nonetheless, I certainly felt more loose, relaxed, and slight tenderness after which I took as a good sign. We paid in cash to avoid taxes & fees, and there was a strong expectation for a tip which I had also read from other reviews. Decent spot but there's definitely better ones I'd rather go to! read more

Je & Ce Spa - Price List (as of Feb 2026) - Massage Therapy Near Me - Jersey City, New Jersey

I have been a client for three years. They are fantastic. Professional and knowledgeable. They will adapt the massage to my specific needs, especially after I underwent a hip surgery. Highly recommend! read more

Disrespectful. Beware of what they say about you in Chinese. Had a great massage but when wanted to tip they said that I needed to tip mi $20 for 90 min, $10 for 60min massage at least. I definitely liked it and wanted to tip, but I don't like them to make it compulsory. I rather have them increase prices and then top what I want to. Wanted to understand if the tip is optional or not but couldn't get a conclusion. Also, they talked to each other when they could not understand my question and said in Chinese that I was dumb/idiot At this point I was like. Just left. read more

Aggressive massages here. Some of the masseuses don't seem to know what they are doing. Some jump on the table to massage the back, and it's terribly awkward and done in an uncomfortable and inappropriate way. Beware that under the guise of a deep tissue/ pressure point massage, at least one masseuse seems to use jumping on the table as a reason for uncomfortably close contact. At first I thought this was just a no frills massage spot, but now I'm grossed out by it! Never going back!! read more

I am picky about my massages but Je & Ce Spa delivers an excellent massage every single time! I've been going to them for 6 years and they are consistently my favorite local massage. The environment isn't luxurious or spa-like but the quality of their masseuses is amazing. read more

I really liked the place. I would say the place has nice masseuses and its also reasonable in terms of price. Would definitely come again

Amazing massage. Very affordable prices. $100 for a 90 min deep tissue massage, also got hot stone and hot towel. Definitely worth the drive for me. They're flexible with the times and are open on weekends. Plenty of street parking available. Music is calming. They are so thorough with the massage. My masseuse worked out all of my muscle knots. My shoulders are messed up so it took a while. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I am a personal trainer and a wellness consultant. I always take part in massage therapy and other forms of self-care for wellness and balance reasons. I have been to the most upscale spas and to the mom and pop shops. Je & Ce spa is a small operation with therapists that give a real good massage without all the frills. Jessica and Lisa are my favorites. They really knead my muscles and add stretches that help my body to release tension. I have recommended other people to partake and, all have given thumbs up. And the price.... $60 for an hour. Not your NYC foo-foo salon prices. Maybe I'll see you there...I and my colleagues go frequently! Peace! read more

I have seen this Spa while commuting to office before the pandemic and it is located in a good neighborhood. A few days ago I twisted my lower back and was looking for a good strong massage to release the knots. I am glad to book a 90 minute session with Jessica and she made sure to put more effort in the pain areas. It's hard to find a good spa and I am super happy to have found one. I will definitely recommend Jessica for her professionalism and massaging techniques. read more

My favorite massage spot in jersey city! I workout everyday and my body is constantly under stress. I go to Je&Ce every week to reduce the tension. Everyone there does a great job and it really helps with recovery. They put in work and have a really nice attitude. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a high quality massage. read more

Came here for a foot massage The good: Staff was nice Decent prices The so-so: The massage started out super light. Once I told her to go deeper, it got a little better. They don't include foot soak at the beginning of the massage. At one point I had to use the bathroom but couldn't close the door because there was a water hose attached to the outside. Foot massage chairs are right by the door/window. You can hear a lot of honking making it difficult to relax. The bad: None Final Verdict; Given that I found a place closer to where I live that it's a bit cheaper, not sure if I will return. read more

Satisfactory 90 minutes full body massage. 60 minutes vigorous deep body relaxing massage. 30 minutes foot massage. Perfect 90 minutes. Like changing into a completely new person. Great experience. So happy to have discovered this new place . read more

Je & Ce Spa - Massage Therapy Near Me - Jersey City, New Jersey

This is one of the best spas I have ever been to. I came in all tensed up but in one hour I felt relaxed. The masseuses are professional and highly skilled. The price per hour is a bargain considering the expertise of these masseuses. I highly recommend this spa for a wonderful experience! read more

Je & Ce Spa - Massage Therapy Near Me - Jersey City, New Jersey

Best massage I have ever had! Great location, good prices, and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Very clean and easy to get an appointment. However, the massage itself was too rough and painful. I don't think they knew what they were doing, I now have pretty severe neck pain after the massage. They also hustle for bigger tips. read more

I work out right next to here, so decided to cheat on my regular spot and give it a try. I walked in and they were able to treat me for an hour massage right on the spot. Place is clean and open. It is definitely no frills but they do a great job. The woman I had was very good, she applied a good amount of pressure and hit all the right spots. No light massages here! They do spend about 80% of the time on your back, so if you are looking for a more full body massage this would probably disappoint. She was so great I wish she had spent more time on my legs and arms! They also incorporate some hot stones and hot towels. It was a full 60minutes. I paid $50 cash and left a 20% tip (which they didn't tell me to leave more like another review said?). I still love my regular spot (and it's $5 cheaper), but for sheer convenience of me already being down there, this may be my new go to spot. Also, one weird thing to mention the woman came back in the room while I was dressing to clean up and set up for the next person. A bit strange when your pants are still down and she's cleaning but she already saw it all anyway ? Either way, they are worth the visit! I will be back. read more

Je & Ce Spa - Great to have a massage after a good work out! - Massage Therapy Near Me - Jersey City, New Jersey

See all

I used to go fairly often to this place. Yesterday my husband went in for a massage. The masseuse was busy answering phones and talking while giving a massage, which wasn't fun. Despite of that While leaving he left a 25% tip on a 60$ massage and the lady at the front desk told next time leave more tip. 100% next time. Don't think will go back again. read more

Decent massage. What was not ok was the front desk person and masseuse demanding a 22% tip!! I have no problem giving a well deserved tip. And this was absolutely absurd! read more

No frills massage spot that's perfect for me. Just like any spa, I've learned to stick with my favorite masseuse. But all the women here have hands like the hulk. This ain't no spot for relaxing shiatsu. These ladies work. Best of all, they often can accommodate last minute bookings. - good massage - clean facility - friendly staff / owner - priced right Give it a shot! read more

Jessica was great! She gave me a deep tissue massage that really worked out some knots in my back. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic massage, incredible value. I've checked out a couple other spots in JC and they don't compare. Shoulders/back/neck were extremely tight and I walked away feeling great. Strongly recommend this place. read more

Lisa was great. The massage was fantastic and I like the oil, hot stone, and face massage in my 60 minute massage!

Excellent no-frills massage place! The place was clean and well-kept. had a mild but consistent pain in my feet at the heels and above, mostly from fatigue I suppose. So I went in for a 60-min foot massage and boy! It was awesome. The foot-massage area was near the entrance which is covered by a curtain but its just foot-massage, so its fine. The masseuse cleaned my feet, used non-fragrant cream and worked on me consistently with medium pressure, working on the nerve spots that lead to relaxation and I was feeling rejuvenated only 30 mins in and they did hot stone therapy at the end for no extra charge! It was so good that I came home and slept better than I have in over a month. The prices are also very reasonable that I can make it a regular thing. I got their loyalty card already! Thank you Je & Ce Spa for your wonderful service. I highly recommend and will visit again for sure. read more

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a couples massage and we're happy we made the decision to book here. The facility is small but the staff were responsive and helped us schedule an appt easily. The best prices we've found downtown for a 90 minute massage and would highly recommend to others! read more

I have lower back issues, and Jessica spent an hour expertly massaging the tension out of it. She is both strong and has great technique. My back hasn't felt this loose in months. I usually go to Shanti in Fort Lee, but I don't mind paying more for the level of service at Je & Ce. Call ahead since they seem to have only a few massage therapists and can't accommodate a lot of walk-ins. Their $10 off promotion is now over, but they're still worth checking out. This is my new go-to place. read more

Been coming here for close to 3 years ago. It's a great spot. No frills juts a great massage. jessica and Lisa are amazing for those looking for a hard deep tissue massage. read more

This massage was horrible and the after effect of it is now torture. I told the masseuse multiple times, She is hurting me. Atleast 5 time's. She never stopped going that hard. It felt like I was getting stabbed repeatedly for half the massage. I should've ran out of there but I didn't and now I have bruises all over my lower back and when first I touched them the next day I screamed. Now it developed into deep bruises this is in humane. This was the worst massage I ever got in my life. And I had a lot. Stay far away from this place. read more

Je & Ce Spa - This is my back next day. Bruises all over and under my shorts as wel. - Massage Therapy Near Me - Jersey City, New Jersey

This a no nonsense establishment that offers inexpensive massages. They are very cautious during pandemic--I went there and the attendants were where two masks months before CDC said to do so. They faculties are very clean. I like deep tissue massages and they deliver. Sure, not as polished and perfect as the higher end places in Jersey City but still good. Only negatives is the place is small and you hear people coming and going and paying upfront from the rooms. Will go back next time I need a massage. read more

They are cash only now. It doesn't say that anywhere so don't make the same mistake I did and have to run to an atm after you are all relaxed. Seems counterintuitive to only accept cash during a pandemic but that's the case. read more

This spas is highly recommended. Jessica and her partner Kelly are great. I just feel another person after the massage. They listen to your problems carefully and work with you accordingly. The place is very clean and they follow all the COVID guidelines. Highly highly recommend this place. read more

Outstanding and professional service. Place is very easygoing and relaxed. High standard every time.

I have been here 4 times now and every time I have had a really great experience. The staff is very professional and friendly and all 4massages I have got from here from 4 different people have been really good. This is a genuine review and I would recommend this place. read more

I walked in for last last minute foot massage. I ended up getting a 120 massage that included a foot massage. It was over the top amazing. I am incredibly picky and love getting massages. This experience was in the top 10 ever. Thank you Sophia! I cannot wait to go back! read more

wow the tip situation here is really a sour taste in your mouth. i've gone here around 5x and the massage itself is solid. it's a no-frills chinese place. less privacy, firm pressure (can hurt sometimes), small spaces. i would be a regular here oher if not for the poor attitude for tipping. - on a 60$ massage, 20% is required. owner was real quick to show me the sign. reasonable - on a 50$ foot massage, i paid 20% tip, and she said "that's it and gave me a look." i didn't back down and said it's 20% and she said "ok." i said "it's not great to feel that way you know," then she smiled saying "ok ok yes 20% ok." i will not be coming back again. read more

Definitely one of the best massages I've ever gotten. I went in with a lot of knots and in very much pain and felt rejuvenated. Will be coming back! read more

It's a no-frills massage place, which I was very happy with until today. I thought a 20% tip was the right thing to do but apparently not! They will ask you to pay atleast 30%. They've put up a notice to that effect. This is sheer unprofessionalism and I don't think I will be visiting this place anymore. read more

Had an incredible massage experience here after businesses began to reopen! Called in advance and the receptionist recommended a time window for arrival. The cleanliness, disinfecting, and mask procedures made it very comfortable and puts you at ease to enjoy their service. I opted for the 90 minute and needed to pay the extra parking meter prior. Jessica generously offered free quarters but luckily I had a dollar for exchange. Great gesture from a business owner/manager with times so tight for businesses these days. May gave an exceptional massage knowing when to apply levels of pressure where needed. Hot stone was great. Will definitely be returning when I'm in the area and highly recommended if your body needs readjusting after your "stay at home" period and gyms being closed. Courteous, pleasant, reasonably priced, clean and great service. Thank you Jessica and May! read more
