The place is very clean and comfortable, the staff is kind and attentive. When you get there they give you a warm eucalyptus scented towel to wipe off your hands, offer you a tea and the restroom, and then lead you to your room. The massage therapist was thorough and professional. At the end, they gave me a firm head massage that felt amazing - I just recommend bringing a comb if you need to be somewhere afterwards! I noticed on my way home that the back soreness I had coming in was gone. Your price is discounted if you pay cash! Thank you Banyan Tree!

It was amazing! I did 90 minutes and it was worth every penny. But the way, save a little money and pay cash. My neck and shoulder that brought me in are feeling so much better! My lower back that's always angry has calmed down too. The combo of stretching and massage is perfection. I'd like to try a traditional Thai massage next time, but this was a great entry point. I kind of never want to have a different style massage ever again. Using your body weight and elbows/knees/feet instead of just hands is genius. The place is a tiny bit hard to find, so look for the big American flag and go in the door under it. It's an upscale building and spa. They don't have the spa amenities you might think of when I say upscale, but they are so good at what they do they don't need frills. Trust me, they will take care of you!

She set me up with some calming tea and brought me to a private changing area with a locker for my belongings. Everyone in the vicinity checked in to make sure I was doing ok. I was worried that because I had arrived late, I would eat up some of my massage time. No siree! They moved my massage to start when I was ready to begin. I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I. Let me tell you one thing about me - I have the most ticklish legs of anyone I've ever met. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! Then, you know how sometimes you ask for a firm touch and you get jelly hands? Or the other way around and you're walking out with bruises? WELL - Lukkana made me feel immensely relaxed WHILE ALSO really working the tissue. What a novelty. She finished up with a scalp massage, which is truly the way to my heart. 11 out of 10. Would recommend. Thank you so much for making my day.

We went here a few months ago. The place is very dark and feels like you're in an underground cave (which I guess you kind of are...) that's cordoned off from the rest of the world. Bathhouse felt much more like an open public space, less well-kept, and the intake at the front desk was very poor. Aire had a wonderful onboarding with a detailed explanation of everything available and where to go for it. The massages were mostly rub-downs and were very relaxing (I fell asleep during mine) but not therapeutic, per se. Aire also has salt scrubs you can do, which is a nice touch, and overall the pools are immaculately maintained during the day. So if you're deciding between the two and have enough money to go to either, I recommend spending a touch more on Aire. It's worth the difference.

He booked a 90 minute massage at 8am, so I had until 11 to enjoy the baths before/after my massage. Once you enter, you're guided to a locker where you can change into your bathing suit and then go to the baths for a tour if it's your first time. There are a few different pools, each with their own temperature and/or benefits. Don't miss the bath upstairs with a beautiful skylight! My massage was an ok experience - pressure fluctuated throughout, so it was hard to pinpoint when to tell her to go harder or softer. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn't seem too crowded in each pool at any point. The ambience is very dark, calming, and relaxing. Not sure I would buy a pass just for the pools because there's only so much time I can spend in each. But it's a great treat
