Coco was the first therapist who not only heard what I was saying but figured out precisely where my body was failing me. There are plenty of well-trained massage therapists who will deliver the textbook experience, but in over 20 years of various deep tissue, Thai, shiatsu, etc. massages, I can count on one hand the number of therapists with this uncanny ability to find the exact pressure points that need release. Coco is that rare person and I'd recommend her wholeheartedly. I was sore, to be sure, but that night I slept without pain for the first time in months. On the second visit, I requested Kayla. But based on my experience, which was completely the opposite of online reviews, I do not believe it was Kayla. This was one of the most painful massages I've ever had in my life. She kept applying pressure from her elbow and forearm bone (ulna) directly to bones in my leg! Some other Google reviews online have mentioned this improper technique and sadly, it continues. The location is very clean and calming, but it's rather expensive to pay to feel worse leaving than when you arrived.

She felt like $60 was not taking care of her, that I was being unjust to her and the fact she worked really hard on me she deserved a $100 or more tip. WTF is this, it was unacceptable that she even told me pls next time go somewhere else if you won't be paying me $100 or more tip somewhere cheaper where you can pay $60 for tips. She is not bad to look at either. I forgot to give her the fee upfront, resulting in my having to get off the table 10 minutes into the massage. Initially I took issue with the timing of this, but the fact is it was my fault for not paying up front. Lisa gave a decent massage. I found it quite enjoyable. Her attitude was very friendly, and she had me smiling throughout my time there. Hopefully next time the shower will be working. It was the one thing I found disappointing, as it was cold outside and it would have warmed me up, not to mention it's nice to be clean for a massage. It's definitely a place to check out if you're in the area.

I didn't mind too much, but I actually woke up with a very stiff neck the next morning. The left back part of my neck feels tightly pinched and I can't move it or stretch it without it hurting. Not sure if this was just my experience, but this isn't a pain I ever get from everyday use or from other massages so unfortunately it's a big no for me. If it weren't for this pain I'd give it more stars, but I got to give it one star because the last thing you want from a massage is to leave worse in pain. If you're prone to muscle tweaks, tightness, or don't want to risk neck pains I'd go somewhere else that's more specialized in proper massage technique. Update: My neck continues to hurt for 3 days now. It seems they forcibly applied improper force at the connective tendon causing damage. I recommend everyone to stay away, this practitioner doesn't utilize proper professional technique causing me multiple days of pain which hasn't gotten much better. This sucks.
