While visiting NYC, I scheduled a massage at Pavirin based on proximity to my hotel and reviews. It was FANTASTIC! I get a lot of massages and this was one of the best. The spa is clean and quiet. Marie's technique was so effective, I left feeling so much better. I loved the combination of Thai, Swedish and stretching methods that she used. She was strong and truly gave me a deep, therapeutic massage. I highly recommend! read more

This spa was clean, professional and totally great! Easy to call and get In Same day.

Lucked out and got in without an appointment . Had a 90 minute deep tissue massage. It was the most amazing massage I have ever gotten. I didn't want it to end! Real pressure, the kind that hurts good. And when she asked if I wanted more pressure and I said yes, i got it. Love the convenience of the location since I work across the street from it whenever I come to the city. Go get a massage at Pavirin Thai Spa. Totally worth it. I'll be back for sure. read more

This is a clean and pretty spot, but the best part is the massage. I've never had a Thai massage before so I booked the combo. Didn't realize how much I needed both the massage and the stretch stretching. I am super relaxed and loose. Will be back. read more

The poorest excuse for a massage. Basically she moved lotion around on my back. I requested reflexology. That. Was. Not. Reflexology. Again it was more lotion being moved around on my feet. $288. read more

This spa is amazing. I had a Thai/deep tissue massage from Maya and she is incredibly talented. Probably the best I've ever had. Definitely coming back! read more

Bell was absolutely fantastic! I am visiting and DEEPLY need a massage and stretch! She did everything i needed and more. I might even come back tomorrow before my flight. Thank you so so much! read more

Came to NYC for our baby moon and after a very long day with 25,000 steps my hips and back were not happy!! I was staying at the Park Lane and when I asked concierge for recs for a prenatal massage they only gave me hotel spas that were $$$$. After I bit of my own search I found Pavirin. Easily walkable and much more affordable. The massage was wonderful and service was great. It isn't easy to find if just walking but worth it! Definitely would recommend for a massage! read more

This was my first thai massage and definitely not my last! Maya was absolutely incredible. I did the thai and deep tissue combo massage, and it was like a massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy visit in one. I'm more aligned, relaxed, and energized and can't wait to come back for more! read more

Laura was great. Professional, clean and tea service at the end. The place is very clean and cozy. I will come back again in next visiting. read more

They are extremely pushy about the tip to the point that they will call you to ask for more tip expecting like 30 percent, leaves you a bad taste in your mouth after having what is supposed to be a relaxing experience, really pushy and stalkerish about trying to get 30% to plus tip. Whoever runs this business needs to learn about professionalism read more

Nadia was amazing! I have been in extreme pain for weeks and she was able to stretch and knead my aching body so I can stand upright now. Some muscles were a bit painful at times, but she clearly knew exactly what I needed. They are a block from the hotel we're in - very convenient. I was able to schedule the appointment for the exact time I wanted. If I lived in NY, I'd go here weekly. read more

Excellent! Best in NYC!! Look forward to visiting every time i am in NYC. Ask for Maya ! read more

Lovely place. A bit pricey but worth it if your looking for quality relaxation/ reflexology. I'll definitely be back. read more

What can I say about Pavirin that others haven't mentioned already. Clean, professional, conveniently located and most importantly one heck of a Thai massage. Definitively walk out feeling better every time I get a massage here. Still operating with what looks like decent customer volume under Covid. They take necessary precautions to make customers feel safe. read more

AmaZing massage! Pricing is on par with more thai massages in the city, but the service is head and shoulders above the competition. I loved the thai massage and stretching because of my work from home desk job. They were very through with their examination and adapted the massage to my needs. The place was also extremely clean and smelled great. Masks was worn throughout the whole time. Loved this place. Perhaps the best massage I've had in nyc. read more

clean, effective, friendly and very professional. I really love my experience, had of the best Thai massage.

My husband and I spent $400 for a 90 minute couples massage. The 2 stars is because the massages were pretty low quality. It was bad enough that I wanted it to finish soon. I asked for medium to heavy pressure and I got a 90 minute body oil. None of my muscle groups were worked on. I asked specifically to have my shoulders worked on and I asked multiple times for more pressure. No change. Just more oil. For my husband, it was the opposite. He asked for light pressure and he can feel nails scraping his skin half of the time. The Thai stretching was nice (10-15 mins of our 90 min session). In terms of deep tissue and swedish techniques, this place does not deliver. We were pretty excited at first since it had a high yelp review and the Thai massage place I used to go to closed during COVID. This place was very disappointing. Also, they charge 3.99% on credit card payment. The good things about this place is that it's clean and conveniently located. The masseuses are not skilled. Not coming back. read more

Very sweet and thorough-- we got a peaceful and relaxing couples massage, where i felt sufficiently worked over. Issue areas relieved

I had sent my mom here in Sept and she had a great experience! However, my brother went today and the experience closed out on a very negative tone. When he came to the spa, the owner was welcoming, chatty and friendly. However after the massage at payment, there was a customer fee (which he found odd, but had no qualms about it). Yet when he gave the tip, she kept insisting it had to be 20% on top of the customer fee. Which left a bad taste in his mouth. He went to get a massage to relax and feel better but then got badgered for an additional tip. She told him 20% tips are not optional. I thought I had found a great massage spa to relax, (walking distance from me) but i guess I will have to keep looking. read more

Authentic Thai massage place in midtown. I was my first time here. It was impressive with the techniques by the professional certified massager. The spa was very clean and welcoming. It's very easy to commute by the train or walking in. Highly recommended! read more

Pavirin Thai Spa - Front desk - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

I just had my first massage ever, and Emma was the best! I get tension headaches because of neck and back pain and I was in so much pain walking in. She knew exactly which muscles were tense and how to stretch them. I honestly think my headache is relieved now because of her massage - head/neck/back. On a separate note, I was texting with her boss regarding scheduling my appointment. Really quick communication, very helpful, and set up my appointment on a very short notice. I'll be going back there for sure. Thank you both! read more

An absolutely amazing experience that I recommend to anyone willing to listen... I've visited Pavirin Thai spa about a year ago and I was hooked... I use to experience upper back tightness that can cramp up at the worse times. Ever since I started going every month or so, my muscles are looser and I feel amazing. You will see the difference after one visit. The overall experience is so very relaxing. read more

This place was very clean, cute, and provided my hubby and I with a couples massage in the same room. As we finished up they had delicious hot tea waiting for us. Will definitely go back! read more

Excellent massage, relief from my muscle pain lasted for days. Lovely atmosphere in the spa. Staff was friendly and helpful both in person and while booking. Think I found my new regular place! read more

Horrible, disappointing, and awful experience. Their staff are very very disrespectful and unprofessional. I made an appointment of deep tissue massage for my husband as a birthday gift. I spent long time looking for a professional massage, going through reviews on multiple platforms (google, Yelp, Red), eventually I decided to choose Pavirin because of all the good reviews. The appointment was booked 18 days ahead, and I confirmed the appointment TWICE through text. However when we arrived there on time (November 26, 2022 at 1 pm), the four ladies there looked at us surprisingly and said they were all booked at the moment. I told them I made an appointment long time ago. They told us to wait and they will double check. Then one of the staff came to me and said: "We are all booked for now. The current clients made their appointment long long time ago". I was like em excuse me so did I, and I confirmed with y'all twice. They didn't feel sorry for messing up at all. While I was still talking to this lady in the store, I got a phone call from a random number, which apparently was from the staff who set the appointment for me. No apology from her at all, she just went ahead and asked if we can come back in an hour and she will give us a $20 discount. We ended not not going back because this is just ridiculous. I just don't understand with the fact that I made the appointment more than 2 weeks ago, confirmed twice, how can they still messed up? How's the person taking the appointment not at the store and calling from a different number? I genuinely think this place is actually very sketchy and not legit considering how unprofessional these staff were. And I highly doubt all those good reviews are fake. We had a whole day arranged for my husband's birthday celebration, I was really looking forward for him to have a massage after a long week at work. My husband was also looking forward to have this massage because his back has been hurting a lot. Now because Pavirin, the whole birthday mood was ruined. What a disappointment. So for people who are looking for a professional massage, I'd suggest you find elsewhere. Otherwise be prepared to be disappointed. read more

Pavirin Thai Spa - I confirmed with them twice before the appointment. - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

10 stars if I could!!! I really thought all of these reviews were fake but they're NOT. They are GOOD. I believe I had the owner (Emma I think) and wow. Best massage probably ever and I've been getting massages regularly for 10+ years, and lived in Thailand for 2 months. I had doubts here and there but as soon as she'd work on my body, they all flew away. I don't live in NYC any more but am going to make it a point and come here every time I visit. I've already told some friends who are making appointments. Worth the money. And I'm a tough critic, promise. read more

I feel like I'm floating because all of the tension from my body has been lifted. Gigi was amazing. Usually I have to tell my masseuse to go harder or help them figure out where all the knots are but Gigi did everything I could wish for without me saying a word! I'm very happy that I live near this haven because now I can spontaneously come by I highly recommend if you're someone who likes deep and strong massages. Also the last 10 minutes is all about stretching which is different from other places I've been but I LOVED it. I run alot and it was really helpful to loosen up my body. read more

Best massage! So strong & every minute was a dream! Stretched & pressure was just as requested. Will return soon

i love this place, they are professional, friendly and welcoming. they are truly good at what they do and everytime i get a massage from here - i come out feeling relaxed and i never want their massage to end because they know all the good pressure points. keep up the great work! read more

Really great massage and stretching techniques! My masseuse was super friendly, funny and charming! I will definitely be going back!

The place was clean and serene. Loved the big calming paintings. We did a couples massage with mixed techniques. It was an hour and half of pure bliss. The ladies stretched and kneaded our knots out. Just amazing. Felt so good and had a lovely tea after. read more

Wow truly the best massage I've had and I have had many. I had a deep tissue massage the day after the marathon. Every part of the massage felt great, you know the "hurts so good feeling" when you're sore. My body truly needed this for recovery and it got what it deserved. I would definitely come back here in the future. read more

Great Thai massage. Newly refreshed interior space is cool. Maya has always taken great care of me.
