The location is also in a basement so some may find that skeptical but we decided to give them a chance and I'm so happy we did. We came here because yelp and also because it was in the area of a birthday brunch i was attending. As soon as we got in you pay first it was $100 (no refunds) flat unless you use a card is about $2 tax. After we paid they immediately brought us to the back to get our massage. They have a kitchen so it's not your typical spa but I was still very excited for a massage. The guy that massage me knew exactly what he was doing I think also it was important that he ask me if the level of pressure he was applying was okay because he's very strong and can apply pressure on the knots which can be painful. We both communicated what was appropriate for me cause I do have a lot of tension in my shoulders and back and he did such an amazing job to take out those knots. I was very impressed on the massage I received I don't think any other expensive spa is going to put as much effort as my masseuse did. My fiancé also love his massage he said he felt so much more relax. I would recommend this place and to ask for foot reflexology that was $30 for I believe 30minutes or you can get 15 minutes if you just want to try it first but it was worth it the techniques they use was like wow. My tip would be to make sure you tell them what kind of massage you're looking for , if you have any injuries and the pressure you want because some prefer light to medium or some want a harder massage but they were pretty good in asking "is this okay". So I would definitely be back. Also please make sure to leave them a good tip for their good service since we did the couples massage we tip them each $ 15-20.

I walked in on a rainy afternoon and was able to get a massage without waiting. When I enter any massage parlor I immediately look around and see how clean it is. You know, someone is about to massage you while you're either naked or almost naked on some table- things should look in order and I can say this spa was pretty spotless. My massage therapist was great. Constantly making sure the pressure was to my liking and if I had any areas that I wanted worked on. My only complaint is that they wouldn't let me use my credit card to pay even though they have a credit card machine. So I had to take an additional charge from my credit card to take money out because they wouldn't let me swipe since they didn't want to pay the transaction fee on their end which ultimately only hurts the masseur because as a tourist, one budgets for so much money during a trip. I recommend the place and would go again, but make sure you come with cash before-hand so you don't have any issues.

You sign in at the lobby, then take an elevator up to the reception. I was running a little late and they were accommodating to start a little after the hour (they do mention when booking if you arrive late you forfeit the time, which makes sense since there may be customers booked after your spot). My masseuse (sorry I forgot her name!) was wonderful, very patient in waiting for me to arrive, asking if I wanted any water or tea, explaining the process and asking if I liked soft, medium or firm pressure. The pressure was accurate to my selection and she really worked on some of those knots! Felt decently sore the next day as I expected. The spaces - reception and treatment room were both set up nicely, clean and comfortable. I will say the bathrooms (which may have been shared with the rest of the floor) were a bit tight and could've been in better shape. It was the coldest day of December and my long, heavy coat was a bit hard to manage inside the bathroom stall. Didn't deduct any stars here since I'm not sure this is something they can control directly in case of a shared facility. *When I originally called to book, I thought it was interesting that they directed me to book on the website giving the reason that they'd need to take my credit card number over the phone if booking via call, versus entering my credit number online. While I appreciate the flexibility and security of passing my cc number over a website this also meant signing up for another website which usually means I'll get marketing emails that I may or may not be interested in at some point or another (aka spam). So I'm not sure if this was a persuasive selling point bc we could all use a few less marketing emails these days.

1 star I honestly…read moredon't know how this place has so many 5-star reviews. Let me be clear up front: this is not a spa. It starts with the building, which is rough- there isn't even a dedicated lobby. And the bathrooms? Disgusting. That matters more than you'd think, because instead of sheets you lie on one of those thin, cheap white towels. I actually watched a masseuse rinsing one out in the bathroom sink afterward with the hand soap. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. The massage itself was just okay. The room was freezing, and I'm not convinced Nan, who did mine, fully understood what she was doing. I would bet she's not even licensed. I booked a Swedish massage, but "a little more pressure" somehow turned into go-crazy-intense deep tissue. She also spent a strange amount of time on my legs, it felt less like a spa massage and more like the quick rub-down you get at a nail salon. If this were a budget spot, fine. But it's not priced like one. The lack of basic etiquette sealed it. When the massage ended, I hopped off the table and was putting my jewelry back on when Nan knocked exactly once and barged right back in. No water offered. She thrust the card machine at me, and as I went to pay she stepped in so close I had to actually ask her not to hover over me. Nothing about this felt relaxing or professional. There are far better places to spend your money.

As I walked out I could even breathe better... she knew exactly where I had tension and made sure to give extra deep pressure on those spots while also applying hot stones to extra tender areas. I repeatedly asked the massage therapist to go lighter because the pressure was causing discomfort, but the massage continued to be painful. Before the massage, I did not have the level of back pain that I experienced afterward. Since the massage, my back has been hurting significantly. After the massage ended, I attempted to leave. I told the staff that I would send a tip once I got home because I wanted time to decide how much I wanted to give. The first woman at the spa continued pressuring me to send the tip immediately and would not accept that I planned to do it after leaving. She showed me a QR code for a Zelle payment and instructed me to send the tip through it. I attempted to leave the spa after this continued pressure, but I was then followed outside by a second woman. I again explained that I would send the tip when I got home, but she would not accept that. She insisted that I send the tip immediately and asked me to show her proof that I had done so. I sent a $30 tip through Zelle using the QR code provided by the first woman. After I showed the second woman proof of the $30 payment, she insisted that I had not sent it and attempted to use my phone herself to send an additional $30 payment. I took my phone back before she could complete the additional payment. The entire interaction made me feel extremely pressured and uncomfortable. I felt like I was not free to leave without providing a tip, and the Zelle payment was not given voluntarily. I did not know whose Zelle account I was sending money to; I was only provided a QR code and instructed to make the payment. Strangest and worst experience I've ever had getting a massage.

When I walked in, the receptionist just stared at me like I was interrupting her very important work of doing absolutely nothing. No "hi," no "welcome," not even a nod. Not the warmest start, but okay, I came for relaxation, not charm school. Thankfully, my massage therapist was a dream. I was ready to float out the door until I reached the front desk again. I told the receptionist I didn't have cash for a tip and asked if I could Venmo. Nope. Then came the kicker: you can use a credit card but there's a $6 flat fee. Not 6%. Six actual, American dollars. For a $20 tip, that's a 30% surcharge! For comparison, most businesses charge a modest 2-4% fee. This felt less like a tip and more like a penalty. Another woman checking out at the same time didn't have cash either and got the same spiel. She sighed, shrugged, and paid the fee too...misery loves company, I guess. To top it off, once I paid, the receptionist didn't even say thank you. She just grimaced. Bottom line: Fantastic massage, but the front desk vibe and tip gouging left a sour taste. I came in to relieve tension, not pick up more. Won't be back.
