Found on Yelp and came in for 60 min massage ($60). The first masseuse today was the worst massage I've ever had in my life. Totally inexperienced and unfortunately, it felt like one of my friend's kids was sloppily petting my back, TERRIBLE. So I politely asked her to get the owner and asked if I could stop at 30 minutes. She offered to switch masseuses mid-massage and I was hesitant but agreed. The second masseuse Angela was EXCELLENT! Dare I say probably top 5 best massages I've had period. As I walked out I could even breathe better... she knew exactly where I had tension and made sure to give extra deep pressure on those spots while also applying hot stones to extra tender areas. I've already booked another 60 minute with her for Wednesday. Went from the worst massage ever to the best massage all in one trip, ha! read more

Dreamland Spa - Very clean and new - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

My first time there and the lady at the front desk was rude when answering my questions. However, the staff was very nice and attentive - provided water and pointed me toward the restroom. The massage was also wonderful - there were no smells and it was pretty clean and quiet. read more

I had done massages several times In this place Angela is my favorite Also one time I forgot an expensive necklace and they kept it for me. They are honest, professional and kind! Amazing massage and amazing place. Thank you so much for having me read more

Angela was fantastic! She constantly checked in on the pressure and got all my knots out during my 60-minute deep tissue hot stone massage. The place itself is no-frills, but it completely gets the job done. Plus, redeeming my Groupon here was super easy. Highly recommend! read more

Super sweet ladies at this spa! Great value, they will match the PULSD deal, $39 for hour massage or facial (or both!) The massage was medium pressure, but still managed to work out all my knots! I loveddd the facial, but think my skin didn't agree with something after (my skin's really sensitive, so I'm fine with that) Would definitely come back! read more

Do yourself the favor and don't come here for a massage. Very unprofessional. Midway through my "customized "massage, I picked my head up and the curtain was mid way open for anyone in the hall to see. The Masseuse knew it was open because I heard her having a conversation with another employee who was standing there before. It was very intrusive and there was no privacy whatsoever. In addition, I was never asked beforehand what was bothering me or what pressure I wanted. She just started it just like that. The lady barely got kinks out. It was as if someone was just touching the body but not really knowinv what to do. It was a Waste of time and money. Worst massage experience ever. It was neither quiet, relaxing, or professional. The room was right beside the bathroom and I heard everything. read more

Dreamland Spa - Loud room - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

Got a facial via pulsd great deal wanted a bit more extractions but overall did leave feeling fresh and my skin is glowing

Went here with a groupon and loved my experience. Amy was my masseuse and she was great! She really listened to me- I came in for a while body massage and told her to concentrate on shoulders and lower back. She did exactly that and it was exactly what my body needed! She never dug her elbow into my back, by her pressure was still very deep. I would definitely come back and request amy again. The place itself is on the second floor of an apt building. No frills, but you still do get your own mini room, rather than just a curtain. read more

Went for a massage last week, it was the best massage I have ever had, the environment is comfortable, hygienic and clean, I will go back! read more

Dreamland Spa - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

This place is really amazing. Came here with a Groupon the customer service was really fantastic. The messages were so good I felt really relaxed after and my muscles hurt way less. The place is also clean and the owner is just the nicest lady. I definitely plan to go again! read more

This place is so great! I was in a car accident almost two years ago - an old lady in a Subaru crossed directly in front of me making a left turn (when I was going straight) and slammed right into my car (very rude) which left me with a spine injury. My spine thankfully healed without needing surgery but I have nerve damage, thoracic outlet syndrome and am in so much back, neck, & arm pain every single day. I'm like an 80 year old woman in a 25 year old's body. One of the things I use as pain treatment is getting weekly massages. I first went to Eden about a month ago after really badly pulling a muscle in my back and they took care of it. I usually go every week now. I have been to massage places all over the city and no one treats you like this! They also have a Pulsd deal and a Groupon deal (where I learned about them) which saves you around $30 on an hour long massage. They really seem to care about you & are really sweet ladies! The place is also super clean. The building is on 49th in between 2&1- buzz up to the 1st floor and walk up the stairs and the door is directly in front of you. read more

Got an amazing 60 minute custom hydra facial today with some add on treatments (oxygen and a vitamin c mask) and I feel fantastic! Anne(Anna?) is amazing They have a new client special that I bought for 3 hydrafacial or massages. Can't wait to go back! Also, their salon is super cute and relaxing. read more

I found NY Eden Spa through Groupon, and I'm very glad I did! The place is no frills, but everyone is very nice and, most importantly, the massages are great. I had LiLi, who gave me a wonderful 90 minute massage-- 60 minutes for full body and 30 minutes for feet. I will say.... If you're modest, tell them ahead of time where you don't want to be massaged. When they say "full body," they truly mean it-- buttocks, inner thighs, chest, belly. I've had similar massages in other countries, so I wasn't too surprised, but I could see this being unsettling or strange if you're not accustomed to it. Overall-- a great experience! read more

This might have been one of the best massage I've had in NYC! While they were very busy on the day /time I arrived, they were all extremely attentive in letting me know we'd be starting soon. I requested a female masseuse and the lovely front desk woman (can't remember her name) did my massage. I have chronic lower back pain on and off and this massage really good the trick at relieving my pain and tension! Plus it was so relaxing and not painful that I fell asleep. I've gotten many massages, including medical massage, and this one is by far the best. Highly recommend if you're looking for a no frills, great deep massage! Only reason I docked one star is because it is a no frills massage studio, but definitely experienced masseuses and clean environment. read more

great!! highly recommend this place was awesome price and great service i will definitely be going back :)

I came there for a 60 min massage. Anna was great - she has very strong hands but adjusted pressure per my request. She did some hot stones at the end and wiped me clean with a hot towel. I was very relaxed when I left. read more

Went last week with Groupon. The rooms were freezing and they ended 10 mins earlier. I told them and they denied it even though I saw my phone the moment she started. I was going to tip on the full amount but before I even took my wallet about the told me 5 times I must give $12. What if I didn't LOVE my experience. They can't force you to tip exactly 20%. Not going back. Buh bye read more

My boyfriend and I went here with a pulsed voucher. The masseuses kept up a steady conversation with each other throughout the massage, which was odd enough. The strangest part, however, was that the man uncovered both my legs at once when working on my lower body. Not only was I cold, but I also felt very exposed. To top it off, they didn't have us flip or even include our feet in the sixty minute massage--rather, at the end, they offered a foot rub for an additional charge. The upper body massage was fine, but ultimately we will not be going back. read more

Stay away from this place. We should've turned around the second we walked in and saw a woman eating ramen in the "waiting area". The rooms were freezing and had no doors or walls (just curtains), the oil had no scent to it, they wipe you down with rough paper towels, and they didn't inform my friend that she'd be with a male masseuse- she only found out halfway through the massage. In addition, the beds are hard, the massage itself was often painful, and they didn't ask any questions about how to "customize". We couldn't wait for it to be over. read more

This place was exactly what I needed. I went in for a 60 minute massage, and it was a very relaxing and comfortable experience. The massage therapist was attentive to my needs. My muscles feel great! The rest of the staff were also very friendly. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you! read more

Terrible. Kept on touching my lower back after insisting I had surgery and it was physically uncomfortable.

My coworker and I stumbled upon this place on a Thursday afternoon and had a wonderful experience! We didn't have to wait and got to have our massages next to each other (separated by a curtain). The pressure was perfect and my masseuse hit all the right spots. You can tell that Amy and Anna have had a lot of experience. Right when the massage was done, my coworker said it was the best massage she'd ever had in her life. We're not often in the New York area but we would definitely come back! read more

I walked in and couldn't move my neck to the left and my shoulder and back felt like they were fused together. I walked out after a 60 minute massage with no pain and just a slight irritation but could move my neck in circles with no pain. Amazing!!!! Laura is a magician. The place is clean and lovely and the music is soothing. Absolute go-to place in Manhattan. read more

Great massage spot! No frills. Very relaxing. The massage therapist I had (a woman but i didnt catch her name unfortunately) was great and gave me the perfect softer deep tissue I needed. I'm actually still a little sore where I needed the most attention 2 days later. Thanks so much :) read more

10/10 would recommend! Amy was amazing and they were very kind and patient with me as I came in a little scattered but left feeling so calm and relaxed! I had severe back pain in multiple spots and Amy really worked on them! read more

Dont go here. This is the worst massage I have ever experienced. Through out the massage I was cringing in pain, and now I'm super sore. Least relaxing environment I've been in for a massage. Afterwards while paying and giving a tip $15, I was charged double. $30 tip for a shit experience. Your the worst. read more

Walked in and they were able to fit me in for a 1 hr massage with Laura. The spa was clean and the massage itself was perfect. Great attention to level of pressure and areas I needed worked on. Will definitely be back! read more

Went here for a back massage and had a wonderful experience! I called ahead and the staff was very friendly and accommodating when scheduling a couples back massage. The spa was very clean and very relaxing. The massages themselves were WONDERFUL. They were very attentive and asked about pressure and preferences to give us the best massages possible. Also, their prices were much cheaper than others I had seen in the area! We can't wait to come back in the future! read more

I really liked visiting this spa - it was beautiful, with big and clean rooms, and a relaxing and quiet environment. I had a 1 hour massage with Amy and she is amazing! This spa is highly affordable and very pleasant, I recommend it! read more

DO NOT COME HERE. It's a sketchy residential apartment that they converted into a "spa". They made zero attempt to even decorate it look like a spa, it's a bed in a room, that's it. Massage was okay, she didn't speak any English so it was difficult to communicate my problem areas. They even wiped me down with a rough paper towel and a cold wet cloth, yikes. Then when i went to pay, they tried to charge me more than what they told me on the phone. I was being watched by the masseuse as I was given back change, and she tried to reach for the amount of tip she wanted out of my hand! I had already planned on giving her 20% and she literally REFUSED it because it was less than what she expected. Then the front desk lady argued with me saying "it's a tough job, you need to tip more". I told them I was tipping the standard 20% that I always tip anywhere else and they continued to argue that it wasn't enough. I still tipped the girl despite their unprofessional behavior, even as they yelled at me as I tried to exit the place. DO NOT give them your business. read more

As another reviewer said, Amy gives AMAZING massages. I followed her to this relatively new spa from where she used to work downtown (which was much more convenient to my work) because she is the best at getting to the sore spots and knots on my shoulders, back and legs and on making them feel so much better. I have had many other massages by others and no one else has been so spot on in finding where I hurt and providing relief. Amy truly has MAGIC HANDS!!!! And the price is reasonable. I highly recommend this spa and Amy for massages! read more

a new spa has open on 49th st off 2nd ave and even though i prefer my place in astoria i need a good massage asap and my back, feet , shoulders,, and the rest of my cant wait. its location is on the 2nd floor of a two story building and may not look glamorous but as soon as you enter it looks fairly clean and modern. from massages, facials, foot rubs, back rubs which cost about a buck per minute from 35 dollars for 30 minutes to 110 dollars for 120 minutes and you get 10 bucks off for any service over an hour but personally 60 minutes is enough for foot rub and back rub combo. they have private rooms so you don't have to hear someone moan in delight or pain . the gal who tortured me (only kidding but she did have strong hands) was a real pro as she worked on my back and feet till the pain was gone . its a bit more pricey then my usual spot but if i cant make my number one spot then eden spa is a good enough number 2 spot. 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more
