I was a little take aback as usually they will allow you to pay after the service. She then asked me for a tip, I told her I usually don't tip until after I see how the service goes... if she was going to demand a tip as soon as I walked in, I was only going to tip 10% She relented and said she would wait for me to finish. Already off to a terrible start. The massage: I had the 60 min massage. the lady that did my massage was named Cindy. 10/10 did a fantastic job. I wish she had asked me in the beginning if I prefer a lighter or more firm massage, but she remembered in the middle so that was nice. Also, she takes feedback well, I pointed out a the locations of a few knots in my back and she always made sure to go back and give the areas extra attention In Conclusion: I had a fantastic massage. Thankfully the abruptness of the front desk lady didn't affect the rest of my appt. Also, be aware that if you use your credit card, they charge you a "tax" of $5.25 so with tip I ended up paying 25% but a good massage place is hard to find, so whatever, I'll still come back lol

A highlight was that the masseuse ended the session with hot stones, which felt wonderful. When I first walked in, the place was relatively empty and peaceful, though it did start filling up quickly. There are two reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. First, as a first-timer, I didn't really know the norms, and the masseuse never checked in to ask if the pressure was okay. I definitely would have liked more pressure, so a quick check-in would have been appreciated. Next time, I'll know to just speak up right away! Second, the relaxing vibe was unfortunately disrupted towards the end. A guy sat next to me and started typing loudly on his laptop and making "mmm" noises before his massage even started. It woke me up and definitely killed the zen atmosphere. Overall, it's a solid place for a foot massage, but I'd recommend communicating your pressure preferences upfront and hoping for quieter neighbors!

However, it will be hard for me to return anytime soon. They will hold you hostage if you do not tip at least 20%. Two out of three times I've gone they have harassed me for only tipping 15%... a $3 difference. And for that $3 they have lost a consistent customer. Most recently the massage therapist kept taking the machine from the man who was checking me out, cancelling my transaction every time I selected 15% to restart it so I would select 20%. It was beyond unprofessional! At that point why would I tip extra for this treatment! I eventually had to say you either are getting 15% or nothing, you choose. Won't be going back anytime soon.

They share the entry & front desk , but have 2 different business cards on the desk and I suspect they pull the nail techs to do services when busy. It was a short wait despite having booked on line. 3 minutes later the desk person said we could go to the right, which we agreed to, and the nail tech women did the foot massage in the pedicure seats under bright lights but nice, tranquil music. It was ok, but no where near the relaxing experience of resting back in the dark and having one of the men do their magic with feet.
