On top of that, they also wanted to charge an additional $40 just to register the battery after installation, which was never mentioned beforehand and honestly felt excessive. Between the website not working, the incorrect guidance over the phone, the wasted trip across town, and the surprise extra charge, the experience felt pretty disorganized and frustrating. It's clear they hope you don't reply and after the stipulated 5 days waiting period they'll issue payment. Called customer service and offer magically went up to $100, then $125 when I still refused. They finally called and offered $135 before mailing back to me. I subsequently sold to a reputable dealer who honored the price they quoted on their website. This is a total bait-and-switch hoping to take advantage of people who aren't paying attention and don't react quickly enough.
