love this salon! Never leave disappointed. My powder dipped nails last 3-4 weeks. They all go above and beyond for their customers.

The girls working here are very nice and hardworking--I've seen them spend hours on clients and still stay kind and professional. I've brought them pastries, bottles of wine, and I'm an extremely generous tipper--never less than $40, even for a basic pedicure. Unfortunately, the owner of this Russian salon (who also owns Spectrum Hair Salon) was completely out of line. She falsely accused me of asking her to cancel someone else's appointment for me--which I never said. I simply asked to be notified if there were any cancellations. Anyone who knows me knows I'm respectful, so that accusation made no sense. It got worse when I went in to speak with her. I asked if she handled appointments--she said no. I asked if the owner was available--she said yes. Then she comes around and says, "I'm the owner and the one you spoke to." yeah right after I saw her whisper to two people two girls who was standing at the counter with her so it was obvious she had no interest in solving it so why should my attitude change The fact that I went there that in itself should have told her something, That alone tells you everything. Speaking calmly doesn't excuse rude behavior. The way she handled the situation was unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

Consistently friendly and excellent service. I've been coming here for two years and have never had a bad gel manicure or pedicure. On the few occasions I've done dip it has also looked amazing. Owners are wonderful and know your name. Little bottles of water (and sometimes hot tea!) are such a nice touch. CLEAN. Can't recommend them enough! read more

After asking about the prices for a Gel mani pedi, I was satisfied with the price just not the color. The woman repeatedly advised me to try the powder nails. I told her What I wanted to spend knowing she was getting me to spend more by offering the powder. when it was over they charged me $5 more. I was exhausted and didn't argue but I called later telling them i wont be back. Don't be fooled by the 50% off coupons....Because they cheated. read more

Happen to find Mood Nail Spa as it is next door to where I go for Physical Therapy. I tried it for manicures 3 weeks in a row and got to know Turbo and Angela - very sweet people, nice conversation, and my nails - GREAT! Even better, there is a Grand Opening special that will save you money and support their new venture here in East Islip. It is a great way to support local business' with nice owners, good work, and fairly priced. This is my second visit to Mood Nail Spa and I couldn't be happier! Turbo, and his wife Angela, are very pleasant and do a great job. They are located in the Concord Cleaners shopping center. Not only do they have convenient hours because they're open on Sundays, but they are having a 20% of all services grand opening special until the end of February! Extremely happy with their powder gel manicure! They last long and never chip. Usually other salons manicures chip and make me very frustrated. The manicures here stay beautiful for a long time. I come back when they are grown out and need some TLC. I have become a regular here and will be back soon!!
