They know me well and the best part is that they are QUICK! I'm not one to relax and I have a busy schedule so when I walk in, they're ready for me. The work they do is great. I had a very nice experience here. Came on a Sunday and got right into a pedicure seat. Used clean and fresh tools, had plastic in the spa pool. My pedicure turned out great! And the woman did a great job on it. I have been looking for a place since moving to the Ronk area five years ago and this might fit the bill! Update: came back and did a fun gel manicure with a few colors including sparkles. They were more than accommodating to do it. read more

I had used the same woman for over 9 years and then one day her shop was just closed. I spent a while not getting them done and then a while trying to find a new place to call my own. After overpaying for sub par experiences elsewhere, I found VIP. They are a little bit of a drive for me, but veey much worth it. I always bring my daughters along and this place immediately won me over with their warm, inviting atmosphere and personalities. They even have two special kid chairs for pedicures. They are friendly unlike some other places that feel cold and institutional. They don't just tolerate kids being there, they embrace their presence, like real people- with children, neices and nephews of their own. Sky has done my nails twice now and I couldn't be happier. They always come out great, I had no issues with lifting/cracking/breaking (issues that I have had plenty of in using new places that don't know how to do my nails- all nails aren't tbe same, a good tech knows that a soft or damaged nail wont hold with out propper prep). The kids love it here and so do I. The prices are great, more than fair and the quality of the work is unbeatable. They don't rush you, they don't treat you like you might run out the door without paying. This is my new place and I highly reccomend them to be yours too. read more

I've been going to VIP Nails for at least 4 years now and they all do a great job. I personally go to Cathy because I like the way she does my nails. Every two weeks I'm there for a fill. I also always book my next appointment before I walk out of the door so I'm guaranteed I'll be seeing Cathy for my next appointment. Also, heads up they just moved. They're now in the Family Dollar shopping center on Portion just before Checkers. The new salon is gorgeous. Everyone that works in the shop is very conscientious about cleanliness. Usually if I'm just getting a fill with the forever French I'm in and out in under 40 minutes thanks to Cathy being so efficient and the UV gel top coat I get. I have also gone to other technicians when Cathy's been unavailable and they're all just as good... its just a matter of preference. I constantly get compliments on how beautiful my nails look. So come here if you're in the Nesconset-Ronkonkoma-Holbrook-Farmingville area. It is a top notch nail salon. read more

I've been going here 20 yrs. Ana is the girl I go too. Since it's been sold it's ok the prices are good! But the women who usually answers the phone speaks such horrible English that she gets nasty if you don't understand her! Now it's not like me to get annoyed but if I'm giving you business then get a person who can speak and understand English! Not some women who gets nasty to customers!!!! If Ana leaves I'll have to find another place. The only reason I still go there is because of Ana. She is awesome! She sweet, funny and does great nails! Hopefully the guy who owns it realizes he needs better people to work there and can speak to the customers who are your business! Ana gets 5 stars. Would not recommend, only 2 people working on a Monday evening. Felt rushed and not a large color selection. They had me sit down and ATTEMPT to start my nails with someone else's nail clippings still on the counter. Not a clean environment. read more

Low end salon. Dated interior and service was not thorough. Got a gel manicure and the manicurist was very nice but the actual manicure was not. My hands felt dusty the whole time, not clean. Hands were rested on a paper towel on a glass table, no wrist rest, no matter covering the table. Just felt very low end all around. Only good thing was the manicurist. There were rough edges under my nails when I left. read more

Terrible place they rush you from the beginning! She kept messing up on the French line and left dripping nail polish of the nail bed! Left cuticles uncut and on one of the nails she didn't fully put the top gel coat so it's sticky. And told me I was done! All for $32 that's unacceptable it's looks like a 5 yr old did it!!!!!! I used them for 10 years then they sold I used Penny most of that time she took a vacation and never came back I used Anna who is terrific they raised their price for nails and pedicure their calus pedicure price jumped from $21 to $28 rediculous not worth it I feel they are over booking and prices keep rising every time I go read more

This place is absolutely horrible. Had a gift certificate and the older woman just acted like we were a nuisance to her even though there were only about 4 people in there. Rushed us and was not relaxing at all. If we didn't have a gift certificate, I would have left immediately. Would not come back. read more

I had my nails done by Nina and although I was optimistic because they have such a large color selection I was quickly disappointed when she injured my nails so bad. She was attempting to remove an old acrylic tip and from having nails on for a long time my nail beds are already very thin and it was still very attached and all she did was try to pry it off with the cuticle Nippers and must have really injured my nail bed. I was in pain the rest of the time I was there and all she did was put glue over it and more acrylic. For about four days my finger was so swollen and throbbing in such horrible pain and was red and hot so I was convinced it was infected underneath but having no health insurance at the time I had to soak my nail in alcohol and peroxide and it started to heal. When I say that pain kept me up at night I am not lying. I don't think I could ever go back here after that experience despite their color selection. read more

I always go to Vip to get my nails done. I get my nails done by T and do gel. If my nails didn't grow so fast I could get them done once a month. When he does them they never chip and stay shiny till my next appointment plus T gets you done super fast. I never leave disappointed read more

I have been going to VIP nails for almost 6 years now. They do the best nails in town, they have a ton of acrylic colors in addition to the normal pinks. They also have a large selection of gel colors. They just moved to the family dollar shopping center on portion road. The new salon is beautiful and always clean. All of the nail technicians do a fabulous job. There pricing is very reasonable and might be a little cheaper than other salons, however the quality is awesome. I was referred to VIP from a customer. I had noticed her French nails, and complimented her on how nice they looked. I was convinced they were gel, and when she told me NO it was acrylic, I couldn't believe it. I had just recently had my nails done somewhere else, and was extremely disappointed with how they came out. I couldn't wait to get them off. That's when I was referred to VIP and so happy I was. They were wonderful, friendly, accommodating, and I was so happy when I left there. I am definitely a new customer and will be getting my nails done there from now on.
