This is the place to go when you want great alterations. Anna is my to go lady. She knows her stuff, bring anything and she will always know how to perfect it! Price is also reasonable. Just the nicest people. Highly recommended. read more

Do not go here if you value your clothes. I have gone to hundreds of dry cleaners around the world...I have never seen one that actually writes on your cloths, IN INK! See the attached picture. I can't imagine why they would think this is acceptable? I wish someone had warned me before going, beware! read more

Monty Cleaners - It is even worse than the pictures, I removed part of my name for privacy purposes. - Laundry Services Near Me - Arcadia, California

Greedy people. Raised prices to insane levels. I'll buy new clothes before coming here to wash them.

This cleaners has becomes very bad services about recent few years. I have my clothes cleaned at this place many times, and I had a bad habit to drop a lot of clothes and never checked my clothes when picked up. When came to the time to wear, I found out that it's not professionally cleaned, specially they were shrunk like baby clothes. 1.The sweaters were shrunk too much that I cannot wear them any more My sweaters were new designer's clothes (TiBi, Phillips Lim, etc) and blouse ( Kate Spade ) and 1st time worn when dropped to clean at his store, but when picked up they became shrunk like baby's . I complained with him about that shrunk, he said that's material could be extended and let him extend, but then he damaged the sweater yarn. For the blouse, its material is poplin he could not extended then he asked me to let him extend the bottom material . I am not happy about the extension but gave him a chance to fix. In fact when his dry clean damaged my clothes he should pay for the replacement, instead he wanted to charge me for his fixes on his bad services. 2. Delayed: The clothes has been dropped for a week but on the pick-up date it was not ready as promised, I had to come back another date. Overall, I am not happy with Monty Cleaner services as all my favorite designer sweaters and blouses have been damaged at this services . If you use this dry clean services , you should check your clothes when you pickup to make sure they are not shrunk. read more

I'm just getting ready to take a load of clothing to Monty's Cleaners. Thankfully they survived the worst of the Pandemic. We didn't need their services as much these last 2 years, but when we did, it was excellent service as has been the case for over 28 years! read more

Monty Cleaners is located on the East side of Baldwin Avenue right next to the Tux Sales and Rental place. I took my winter coats there to dry clean after I spilled some drinks on one of the coats during a party. My white wool coat came out so sparkling white! I'm really happy with the job they've done on the coats. I've knocked off a star because the price is a little on the high side even after the owner gave me a 10% discount. I paid $39 to dry clean 3 wool coats. read more

They did a pretty good job with the dry cleaning. Price changed from when I dropped off the clothes to when I picked them up. I did not have any written confirmation of the original price verbally communicated to me that was a deciding factor to leave my clothes, so had to just go with it. The person behind the counter threw my credit card on the counter in my direction. It bounced and landed behind the keypad. Figured it was a slip, but then he grabbed it from the keyboard and he flung it again towards me. Good job with the dry cleaning but not impressed with the customer service. read more

Owners have been in business for a very long time and are very experienced at what they do. Brought a wedding gown in and it was tailored to perfection along with impeccable cleaning done. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're in/around the area. Hard to find great places these days. Location is also key. read more

I requested my husband to take my wedding dress here because it got better reviews on yelp than the cleaners down the street (well people on the other cleaners said they like this place best)... I cant say anything about the customer service. He paid $50 to have it cleaned. (I dont know if this is a good price or not but my dress was pretty filthy after the garden wedding we had.)... I GOT MY DRESS BACK IN POORER CONDITION THAN WHEN HE TOOK IT IN!!! They did manage to clean 90% of the dirt... but there is still one large dark patch. The fabric however is distroyed now. Whatever machine they used caught the threads and pulled them out! In multiple spots on the dress!!! So much for my hopes to resell the gown... a gown I spent $2000 on! The cleaner has a disclaimer also claiming that they are not responsible for any damages. Thanks monty cleaners! EDIT: I took my dress to my wedding dress seamstress to see if she could save it.... The seamstress told me it looks like they had crap in their machine because the stains i thought were unfinished work were baked into the fabric. And more importantly THIS DRESS WAS NOT DRY CLEANED. She pointed out the fluffy part was a fabric that gives the dress its shape when washed with dry cleaning fluid would not wrinkle but when washed with WATER would wrinkle. Also the lining has shrank for the same reason. She says this dress is now worthless and wont even sell. THANKS MONTY's read more

Give credit when it's due. My jacket was stained by tea, and I went to the store asking for help. The owner took my jacket and a few minutes later returned it with the stain removed. I asked how much, he said next time. read more

Hopefully I don't do that to them again with such short notice, but it's nice to know they are always willing to help out when you are in a hurry. read more

Took Fire Department uniform shirt here for patches to get sewn on. Crooked & 4 inches wrong on the sleeves after picking up. Took back & had them fix it. Even after the second fix, all patches were still crooked & off. Ended up going to my usual cleaners. (PS they charged $78 to sew on 8 patches and military press two uniform shirts. Normal cleaners charged me $18) . Buyers beware! Go somewhere else! read more
