    Rose Gold Meisterstuck Le Grand.

Recently visited to finally buy a long awaited Le Grand Meisterstuck for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised. The store is small but clean, well organized and they limit the number of people in the store which is refreshing - you will never bump into other people and can take your time to digest the experience as its meant to be. I tried several pens and decided to go with the rose gold le grand and am super happy with my purchase. The missing one star is because of sales pressure. It felt like she wanted me to make a decision soon so she could make her sale and move on to the next. I mean its not Rolex but still, could have improved the experience to a full 5 stars if it was just laid out to you and you were given no pressure to decide asap. Overall a great store with friendly people and an amazing selection of writing instruments and small leather goods if you are into that.

; ( Terry C. It is not. Should be a metal trim around the flower, no serial #, MB cartridge no fit. But, it sure looks good! ; * )

Just a thank-you to Rick who was so very knowledgeable and helpful regarding my faux MontBlanc cartridge pen. This pen was gifted to me in the early 90s so one thing we both agreed on was that it is vintage LOL. I had done some research and Yelp friend Terry C. also was kind to get me some extra information to check out I spent quite a bit of time researching and I did find the identical-looking pen. Although, mine was without the sterling silver stamp, no serial number, no Sterling around the flower on the top of the pen and it did not have made in Germany. We tried to put in a MontBlanc Partridge In it and did not fit. I had no idea there was so much to learn about a pen. Did you know that they go up into the thousands of dollars? If you feel like looking at any Amazon has a lot. They really are a beautiful pen company and if you ever want to collect something Beautiful and actually use it this is it. not Not all Is lost.. my pen it's still a beauty and Rick did polish it for me. Now, all I have to do is find a cartridge for it. LOL

John was an amazing salesperson. I had been gifted a Mont Blanc pen and he sat down with me, showed me how to use it, clean it and overall take very good care of it. He had me write with several different ink colors and I left with a sampler pack and one of the psychedelic Beatles special edition covers. I usually don't like going into high-end stores because the staff can be snooty bit John was friendly, efficient, and helped me out without any condescension I have experienced in other shops. I am looking forward to settling in with my new fountain pen!

Fresh new ink for this bad boy!

I ran out of ink for my fountain pen, and luckily this place was close to my school. So I decided to make a quick drive to get new ink. However, I forgot the model of my pen & bought the capsule type. When I got home, my dad informed me that I bought the wrong ink so I made a second trip the next morning with my dog. The next morning, I was greeted by Jorge Rivera (assistant manager). I was surprised that he didn't judge me by my looks. Because I'm usually in my running shoes or rainbows wearing gym clothes. And everytime I visit some stores in Fashion, some employees completly mistreat me or even ignore my existance base on my outfit. Anyway, he let my dog come inside the store and kindly explained the types of inks I need for my pen. All I have to say is that he provided such an excellent customer service and I was very thankful because he was awesome :) Also, my dad gave me his pen to me so I was new to this fountain pen thing. And Jorge was kind & patient enough to explain the anatomy of the pen and how to take care of it and how to change ink. Overall, I liked my experience and if I ever have to visit this place again, I'll make an appointment with him if possible because he is knowledgeable in what he does.

I purchased the RB Starwalker Extr 111514 and 3 months later the cap started to split.

I've been looking for a good local leather shop recently. Came across this business and read the…read moregreat reviews.. unfortunately it was a huge disappointment.. don't waste your time or money!! I brought the bag in and we looked at what the issue was.. the thread was coming undone where the strap was being secured to the bag.. we agreed to put in a single black rivet on each side to match and secure the strap.. told me it'd be about 15 minutes. I came back and he put in three on each side which was a bit strange.. I noticed they were uneven and they even scratched the front of the bag under the flap.. talked to him about that then he apologized and tried to buff it out.. paid the man and walked out because I was already upset about the quality of work done.. on the way out noticed that he actually spliced the leather on the side right where the stitching was coming undone so now it's even worse than before because that entire piece of leather is no longer securing the strap.. almost the same exact issue I came in to solve but worse because he would have to fully take it apart to fix it.. seems sneaky to me.. just felt like they were trying to get more money out of me and the job he did do was very inadequate .. definitely no pride in their craftsmanship... got my money back and said I was going somewhere else! very upset because I'd like to regularly support local businesses... went in there based on the great reviews they had specifically about their craftsmanship no matter how small the job. makes you think about going to bigger companies with actual standards... if zero was an option, I'd put that instead..

They have phone cases for all types of cellphones, which is nice because some places that you visit only have phone cases for iPhones. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and I was very impressed at the selection of phone cases available. I used to have a Samsung and I was equally as impressed that they had cases for them, as well. Their prices are high, no doubt; especially for a phone case. They were all $29 for a case. I wished they were a little bit cheaper or had a special deal or something if you buy more than one case. I would have loved to buy 2 or 3, but I couldn't see spending almost $90 on 3 phone cases. I did however buy 2 cases; one for my son since he did a great job taking care of his sisters while I was on my trip. The prints on them were really cool. From Marilyn Monroe and Jimi Hendrix to different city scenes in New York, San Francisco, Paris, and San Diego to graffiti scenes, etc. They had wallets and credit card holders that had some of the same scenes, as well as bags, leather magnets, leather key chains, shirts, print art and even skateboards. The cheapest thing in there was the phone case. They do have a Yelp check-in offer for 10% off your purchase, but the cashier didn't enter it right. I even showed him on the receipt that it says the total discount is 5%, not 10%, but he gave me some lame explanation saying he took 5% off of each case, when in fact he only took 2.5% off of each case. I didn't want to stand there and teach math and haggle over the issue, so I let it go. Either way, the most important thing was to get something for my son and I achieved that.

I work in Customer service, so i know what it takes to be in this kind of work enviorment. Karla, one of their few great employees, is probably the best one there! Probably the best I have ever known! Everytime I've walked in there i am greeted with a smile and a Hello, and she always asks how im doing and ive seen her ask people where they are from (its a touristy area) which goes to show how much they care for their customer experience. There are a lot of choices here for art, their theme is very contemporary and modern, and like the name suggests it has many pieces inspired by street artwork. Thankfully the wonderful miss Karla was willing and able to help with my search for a great item. Her knowledge of the store and placement was astounding. She helped me get a wallet/card holder that had California on it. It was a great choice, my friends are always telling what a nice wallet it is, and to be honest its pretty great What sold me for this place was the service and people working there. Some places just forget the whole customer experience, not this place though. Karla just gave me hope for this world that there are still genuinely amazing people out there.

I contacted another cobbler first, told to send photos, waited for callbacks, called them again and got vague answers about how delicate the leather was and how cleaning it could spread the stain... they said they'll think of ways on what to do and call me back and then never heard back again. Thankfully, I found Chito's Shoe Repair online and reached out by text with photos of my bag. Within 5 minutes, they responded and asked me to call. Jenny spoke with me personally and was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. She didn't make unrealistic promises, but she took the time to explain that she wouldn't fully know the outcome until she saw the bag in person. I was extremely stressed, and her honesty mixed with compassion immediately made me feel better. What truly amazed me was that even though the only time I could get there was after their hours, Jenny still accommodated me and allowed me to bring the bag in. That level of kindness and care is rare. When I arrived, she carefully inspected the bag and walked me through exactly what her cleaning process would be. She explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations while still making me feel hopeful. At that point, I honestly thought I may have ruined my bag permanently.. especially because in my panic, I had already tried a few things myself that probably made the stain worse. Two days later, I picked up my bag and it looked like NOTHING had ever happened. I genuinely could not believe it. The stain was gone, and my bag looked beautiful again. What stood out even more was how much Jenny genuinely cared about educating me. She taught me about leather care, explained how leathers react , and even gave me advice on a wallet project I was trying to fix myself. She wasn't trying to upsell me or push me to bring everything in for repair -- she actually wanted me to understand how to care for my own items. That says so much about her character and integrity. I also met her husband Chris, and together they are just wonderful people. Warm, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about what they do. I'm beyond grateful I found someone I can truly trust with my luxury pieces. Thank you again, Jenny and Chris, for saving my bag and for treating me with so much kindness throughout the entire process!
