I came here to get my first Cartier jewelry. Alan was such a great help! He was very patience with my group allowing us to find the right size ring. He also offered us goodies and even gave us local food recommendations. Would definitely come back here. Thank you Alan for your kindness and making this a wonderful experience for me. read more

Sacha at Cartier was such a fun and personable SA. She made my purchase experience very memorable with no pressure. It was truly an enjoyable experience and I didn't feel rushed at all. I had to return the first purchase and she made it seamless and easy. I did end up getting a beautiful bangle from Cartier. read more

Came here multiple times to get my SO pieces from Cartier. The first time I came I was nervous. Did some research before I came in and the staff was very tentative with viewing the pieces I was interested in, and offered me a beverage while we waited. My most recent time I walked in with confidence. I requested to see the pieces I was interested in, and ended up walking out with a whole different piece. I ended up having to exchange the piece for another size, and it was completely seamless. I love the upscale customer service that Cartier provides to its clients. For that reason, I will be back for more! read more

VIP service with white glove handling & it continues to get better. Came in because I happened that my Rolex came unfastened and dropped to the floor and 4 Diamonds came out so I wanted to get them replaced and shop a little bit to see if I found anything in there selection for my two best friends and of course myself . So for Valentines I got us stacked Cartier Bracelet's & of course I bought a Diamond Tennis Bracelet and my watch repaired. If you're looking for a Valentine gift for your girlfriend/boyfriend Cartier is the best place to go you'll be surprised on how reasonable their prices are. We visited the Cartier store at Fashion Valley on April 20, 2026, around 4-6 PM to have a link removed from my watch because it was too loose. At first, security asked if we had an appointment and it seemed like we might not be allowed inside. Thankfully, a lady who appeared to be a supervisor or manager (she had short dark hair--I regret not catching her name) kindly stepped in and welcomed us. She helped find someone to assist right away and made the experience smooth and comfortable. Because of her professionalism and warm approach, I also ended up purchasing a leather bracelet during the visit. She truly represents the level of service I expect from a luxury boutique. I do want to mention that the staff member who adjusted my watch seemed somewhat distant and not very engaged during the interaction. The service was completed, but the experience felt less welcoming than expected from a luxury store environment. This is the reason I only gave 5 stars. Overall, I really appreciated the supervisor's professionalism. She is a great asset to the store, and I hope she receives recognition for the excellent service she provided. read more

I ended up returning to the store and purchasing my bracelet there, and I'm really glad I did. This time, the experience was completely different--in the best way. Store manager Mery and sales associates Tanya and Lydia were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were patient, professional, and made me feel at ease. They were also so sweet to my daughter and even made her a little bracelet to play with, which was such a thoughtful gesture. They explained that I can bring my bracelet in anytime for a cleaning, and I really appreciated how they took the time to walk me through everything and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. It's clear to me now that the issue wasn't the store, it was just one employee. I'm so glad I gave it another chance, and I truly appreciated the care and attention I received this time around. read more

Decided to stop by to look at love bracelets and get my existing ring cleaned ( my vintage 18k gold tri color double C ring ) the hostess ask "is it Cartier?" Perhaps prior to offering an insult to an existing Cartier customer she should go back to Cartier school. read more

Excellent experience in here while browsing last week. I did not have an appointment but was easily welcomed inside and allowed to browse. I was "assigned" an associate who was happy to chat with me and show me some items. He noticed me new wedding ring (a fancy chocolate diamond) and showed me an upcoming piece for the fall that will be champagne/chocolate diamonds and rose gold to match my ring and invited me to come back and take a look. I wish I could remember his name to compliment him here. He was the sweetest. Highly recommend if you are interested in browsing the store - you might just find something you love that you didn't expect! read more

Lovely shopping experience here. Staff was welcoming. My sales associate was helpful and answered every question I had. He had included a lot of samples with my purchase. We just got back from purchasing our wedding bands and OMG! The service was phenomenal! Brenda our SA went above and beyond. She sent us home with beautiful packaging, made us the sweetest bouquet to take home as a thank you gift and personalized every detail from start to finish. Let me tell you, she had to special order my FH's ring and she had it delivered swiftly. I mean within 2days! Our wedding is in two weeks. The stress we were both under. She made it happen. She made sure we were taken care of, not with just providing outstanding service, she did it with LOVE! I definitely recommend her service. Coming into the store, everyone is so welcoming. They offer you drinks while you wait. And they serve you like you're royalty. I appreciate the small details they provide. They make shopping here pleasant and a breeze. Thank you Brenda again for being a part of our new journey! read more

SA was very kind and friendly. Had a great experience there. And happy to make a purchase there. However, I one time called to a store for some inquiries and the lady I spoke with was not friendly even she sounded really rude. She sounded like I am bothering her all time. If a customer calls for inquiry of a current order, I think a customer has to be treated kindly. But, my experience was a little unsatisfied with this boutique compared to other Cartier boutiques. read more

I decided to swing by with 40 minutes until they close. It was my first time in a Cartier store, and though I knew exactly what I wanted it was still nice to have an awesome SA who let me take my time, look around, and enjoy the beautiful boutique. SA Brett B. assisted me and did such a wonderful job. He offered great suggestions as far as sizing and style. So happy I stopped by! I purchased the Love and Juste Un Clou ring, and added the beautiful Tank watch to my wishlist. I'll definitely be back for more pieces! Thank you Ms.Helen for showing me the necklaces and rings on display.Even if you didn't have the gold pieces that I linked in store, you would check online to see if it was available. Throughly enjoyed our visit here! From my first call with Ana, she was in the ball. She knew what I really wanted and was hoping to get for Christmas. She set aside the two rose gold bracelets. My boyfriend and I went down the following afternoon as scheduled. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and friendly to not only us but our little pet family as well. What a wonderful time viewing the jewelry, watching it get wrapped and having a personalized letter written by their calligraphy artist. The photos at the end were a real joy as well. I am still waiting to see the white gold bracelet when it comes in. Thanks again and such a great experience. Highly recommend coming here! read more

Every time I visit San Diego, I would make a point to spend time at Fashion Valley Mall, visiting the numerous watch boutiques. The Cartier boutique is by far my favorite for its spaciousness, elegant interior design, professional sales team and of course, the Cartier legendary timepieces. On this last visit, I wanted to look at some Santos watches and was assisted by Elide, whom was exceptional in her knowledge of horology, watch movements and brands - not just Cartier but countless others. Elide spent considerable time patiently showing me the Santos and Tank lines, carefully explaining each timepiece's heritage, complications and movement - and it was wonderful geeking out with another watch enthusiast. Never during my time in the boutique did I ever feel pressured and in the end, I purchased my grail watch. I really cannot speak highly enough of Elide's extraordinary customer care, her professionalism, patience and brand knowledge. She and the exemplary staff at this boutique made my first Cartier purchase a memorable one. I will return **truly a 5 star experience and highly, highly recommended** read more

My first time shopping at Cartier and I couldn't be more pleased. I was fortunate enough to be helped by Mr. Brett Bausman whom I believe is perhaps one of the most welcoming sales associate I have ever encountered in all my years of shopping. He was welcoming, very knowledgeable about the jewelry and the history behind it but best of all he was patient with helping me find my very first piece of Cartier. With his help I decided on the Juste Un Clou ring in rose gold. I was so happy with my purchase that I ended up visiting the store for the second time the next day to purchase a Trinity bracelet. Thank you Brett for the warm welcome and a wonderful shopping experience! I will definitely be back for more read more

Beware. The manager is selective in how he treats certain people. I strongly suggest never to discriminate, make assumptions and all with respect. Sadly, this didn't occur at this location on June 10, 2021 and the crazy thing is my friend bought a $12,000 bracelet and I had planned on making a purchase too before being treated disrespectfully. read more

I'm so glad Cartier opens an new store in SD, so I made my trip there on 22rd, but the manager or the supervisor who is a guy is extremely rude, it makes me feel like he owns the store. I have bought a ring to match the rest cartier jewelry, he said my ring is only over $1000. Excuse me Sir, a thousand is not cheap for a 18k small ring, I'm only paying that much for the service and the brand, since I've been loving cartier for over 10 years. Thanks Sir, you made me somehow have to drive up to the south coaste plaza. It's really disappointing they don't give their stuff enough training when they open a new store. read more

This boutique has been open since September and it is really amazing. I am impressed with the level of care and concern for their customers. They were accommodating of a hiccup in my schedule and really walked me through every aspect of the item. I worked with the store manager, Alicia, and I am so glad I did. She made the experience really special. Every other SA seemed to be really kind and personable as well. Even the SA posted at the door was warm. I know it seems counter intuitive for such a high end store to be so warm and kind, but Cartier San Diego really is doing it right. If you are in doubt, go to Cartier San Diego and they will work with you! read more

Thank you Francesca for being so helpful!!! We will definitely be back to collect more pieces. :)

Mixed feelings. I brought in my Cartier calibre for service and polish and cleaning. I dropped it off 10/3/22 and received it back 11/23/22. I was told by elide when I dropped it off that it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks. It took almost 2 months! When I asked for a good will adjustment on the total for the time they said no. This is my experience. read more

I had a satisfactory experience exchanging an item with a representative until the very last moment. She asked me the origin of my Arabic name, I told her I was Palestinian and she proceeded to tell me she was Jewish and made some comment about being enemies and trying not to hold it against me. I was completely shocked by this statement. I wish I could remember her name to report this disgusting incident. I shouldn't even have to say it, but I have more Jewish than Muslim friends, I happen to have been raised Catholic. It was the most ignorant and baseless comment I have ever heard. This made my luxury experience cheap. My name is the same as listed on my account I implore you to follow up with her and educate her on the proper time and place to express her xenophobia Zionist agenda which is not at work representing Cartier. My best Cartier experiences have been in Europe. S. Coast Plaza is cold and elitist but I prefer this to racist. read more

I was visiting from the east coast. Seeing as how I'm recently engaged and our local boutique has a small selection, and I'm still deciding between rings; we decided to pop in once we landed. The service, was not really there, it felt awkward almost. When I was trying on rings, the associate very bluntly corrected me, stating it goes on the left hand; however culturally for me it goes on the right. I didn't feel the need to explain a cultural practice so I moved on to other rings, but each time she would still bluntly correct me. We also talked about future ideas for wedding rings, which she responded with "less is better". I normally wouldn't care, but considering it's my special day and ring; I didn't feel the input was necessary or essential to the poor service. read more

I'm hoppin' on the same train as the others here--when it comes to sales associate, Brett Bausman. Dude is the real deal. Ask for him. ⁣ ⁣ After losing my mind with the Beverly Hills store concerning a half-link needed for a Tank Must, I called the San Diego boutique for help. ⁣ ⁣ Brett picked up the phone. He actually gave me his personal number & took on my issue as if it were his own. Text updates, calls when needed & next-level follow through. I've never experienced anything like it. I legit drove 130 miles out of my way to meet with him & it was 100% worth it. We got everything worked out. And, even though there will be life on Mars before that half-link is apparently scheduled to arrive, we settled my issue & I left happy.⁣ ⁣ From the associate at the door who checks you in, to the friendly security guard & everyone in-between, the San Diego vibe is as good as it gets. Thanks again to Brett. ⁣ ⁣ read more

The sales associate helping me was Leslie V. from the moment I sat down the experience was off. I requested to try on the Juste un Clou ring size 50 and 51 in yellow gold. I was brought sizes that were completely off. I requested to be able to at least try on those sizes in whatever color to make sure the ring would fit. Once I found the right fit Leslie advice me the store did not carry the color and size option I wanted and would order that Saturday but would let me know Monday the details of delivery. I paid for the ring and left the store with the expectation that on Monday I would be receiving shipment information. Monday passed and I never heard from Leslie. I texted Leslie on Tuesday and never heard back. On Wednesday I called the SD Cartier store and ask to speak to a manager but I was helped my another associate who did not see any shipping details on my order and was told Leslie would reach out to me. I was messaged by Leslie at 9:21pm that I would now be able to pick up the ring on Friday but she would verify with me on Friday morning. I replied requesting to pick up the ring on Saturday. Again, she failed to reply to me and I had to reach out again to confirm I could pick up the ring. The significance of the name Cartier should be meet with prestige customer service, however my first Cartier purchase was one of the worst experiences. I receive better service at Nordstrom. The SD Cartier store closes at 5pm and I am receiving text messages at 9:30pm at night from a sales associate. I am beyond disappointed. read more

ahhh Cartier how I love you......Brett B.you too! A new salesperson i was lucky to have him service me. I recently moved from the East Coast and am a frequent guest with Cartier, so being "under the radar" if you would here in SD store I must say if it was not for Brett I would never step foot into the store. The 2 Assistant Managers are extremely rude as to be as blatant as that scene from PrettyWomen when the sales associate refused to serve Julia's character ! I had the displeasure of meeting the gentleman assistant 1st who truly had zero personality and was plain rude. Brett was a true professional and realized and just took over. Made the purchase. Came back and made a even bigger purchase and had the displeasure of meeting the other assistant mgr. Asian women, did not think it could be worse then 1st gentleman she is worse ....just wow .... I expressed to Brett I would of walked out if it wasn't for him & his total professionalism. Now I'm a nobody but I'm a somebody and they (the 2 assistant mgr. of the year !) have zero clue on who or what. so this will be very interesting as I can assure you Cartier as a company is not like this nor will be pleased to hear as I report. Brett Thank you, you provided excellent and attentive service in light of what you have as a example with the 2 assistants. Please accept my apologies in advance that you have to work in a environment with these two individuals. Hopefully it will not be too long as Cartier is surely way better then this !
