I came in wanting to take a look at some backpacks. The rep that helped me, Wing (I think that was her name), was very helpful and showed me a few different styles. I really tried it out and the rep even brought out a laptop to show me that certain size laptops fit and did not hesitate to take time to show me the features of the backpack. I did want to take a look at backpacks from some other brands, so I told her I wanted to take a look at other brands and would be back if I decided to go with Montblanc backpack, and she did not seem disappointed or annoyed at all. After looking, I did go back to buy the backpack and she was with another client, so I had to wait a short time, but I was helped promptly, and she brought out a brand new one from the back and allowed me to examine it all thoroughly to ensure I was satisfied with the backpack. Should I want to buy anything else from Montblanc, I'll definitely check this place out again. read more

i visited the store to seriously consider replacing my Starwalker that was stolen. the inexperienced young man did his best and relied on the older staff that both were robotic nor interested in selling a $900 pen. the 2 other women seemed least interested in trying to help the young man close a sale , as he clearly needed their knowledge. I guess the commission must be competitive. for a high end product, they acted low end. glad I decided not to buy, I'll head to a regular boutique in Los Angeles to replace my Monte blanc. sorry to the kid, I would have bought if the service was more genuine from the other 2 that clearly jumped at the foreign tourists thinking they'll make a better commission I guess, than from helping me with product information. as a registered architect we take $1000 pens seriously. honestly, senior management for this shop needs to clean house and put classy people that know how to handle elegant people looking to easily spend $1000 or more on a pen. read more

I was outside of the store waiting for them to open. They did not have their hours posted but I was assuming they would open at 11:00 like everyone else in Cabazon. 3 workers went inside, none of which said anything to me. When the last one went inside she looked over at the person that was going to clean the windows and sweep and said "let's do this" and let her inside. I politely asked her if they were open and she quickly said no and went inside. It was 11:18 before they opened their doors. The lady that ended up helping me check out was nice but the rest really need to work on their customer service skills. read more

I've been in this store two times, and both times I felt like they could care less if I was there or not. The salespeople were not rude, they just seemed very robotic. They didn't try to be helpful, they just seemed like robots there to show me whatever I wanted to see. I wouldn't go back there again. I have bought several Montblanc pens at their regular stores and the service at the outlet store is definitely not the type of helpful service I get at an non outlet store. Even being an outlet store and the average pen costing $500 even at a discounted price, I expect a more professional human-like staff. I don't expect to be greeted by careless robotic-type * cashiers who are happy to take my money - but seem to care less if I am there or not! ** To the manager of Montblanc - You need to fire your robotic staff and hire more human ones! read more

Go see Hugo. I went in looking for my first high end pen. I knew nothing about them at all. Hugo was very patient and answered all my questions. I bought 2 pens from him. I went to see some of their sales and items. The guy that helped me seemed to be nice at first, but then he started talking bad about me in chinese in front of another client. I had never used their pens but my dad always wanted their pens. I bought him a montblanc ballpoint pen at costco and wanted to just try out and see what they had. when i had explained this to the associate, the client had asked why they didnt have that one and why i got a better price. basically the sales associate was using his chinese to speak ill against my pen and was very condescending. i don't want to ever spend money on this product or company if they have a company culture of rudeness and dishonesty. read more

First of all when walking in employee just closed the door in my face, two ladies were in a store working not one of them apologized, or say hello, and after I approached them and asked them what i was looking for to purchase their response was short and rude. First let's talk about the outside to the inside of the store. It is fabulously done it speaks high-end and class from the time you enter the doors to the staff that are working behind the counters. The way the store is set up it is so inviting and I just couldn't resist going in there to see all the beautiful displays right there at my fingertips. I was greeted by a warm and inviting staff who we will speak about shortly and who was happy to share their knowledge of some of their most high end product ranging from $500 to $3,000 who would have thought I would have been so excited to get an education on a pen, but this is not just any pen its the Mont Blanc pen. Extraordinary colors delightful fashion this store is amazing. And although I didnt look like I had a million dollars I was treated as if I did. I met with The department store host her name is Mrs. Brenda she is classy very outspoken, outgoing and very knowledgeable of the product. She is very friendly to the customers that she serves. Along with her team was another young lady by the name of Miss Laura she was absolutely wonderful a joy to speak with very knowledgeable of the product very classy as well as professional. She is well trained in the Mont Blanc Style and fashion of customer service. I was treated like royalty and I loved it.
