During our recent visit to Palm Springs, a city known for its welcoming atmosphere and vibrant shopping scene, we decided to return to a Prickly Lear Boutique my mom had previously enjoyed. Unfortunately, this visit was different due to the unwelcoming attitude of the manager, TATIANA. Or the owner? She wasn't clear on her title and said she pays the rent for the boutique.
From the moment we approached the register, Tatiana's demeanor was notably condescending and rude. Despite our friendly approach and the fact that we were repeat customers looking forward to adding more finds to our collection, she made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. When we politely addressed her unpleasant attitude, hoping for a better interaction, she remained dismissive and unapologetic.
This experience not only dampened our mood but also left us regretting our decision of returning to the boutique a second time. It's disheartening that what should have been a pleasant part of our shopping and stroll through Palm Springs turned into a situation that left us upset and disappointed.
For anyone looking to enjoy their time in Palm Springs and hoping to find a friendly shopping environment, I would recommend steering clear of this boutique. There are plenty of other wonderful stores in the area where the service and attitude will enhance your day.
We live in a time when our shopping choices reflect our values and morals. I was raised to respect everyone, no matter who they are, because you never know what someone else is experiencing. Clearly, this boutique's principles do not align with mine, so neither I, nor my family or friends, will be returning. read more
