Amazing, amazing, amazing!! I love this small coffee business so much. I went with my friends once & immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. I have had both coffee and their energy infused drinks and love both. I had the banana bread coffee and it was absolutely delicious. The service is so wonderful and the baristas are so kind. Service is always good as well, the cashiers are always friendly Most of the time I like to sit inside the coffee shops but personally for me, I don't really like sitting inside here. Nothing is exactly wrong with it, but it isn't a very "coffee shop" sort of vibe. I stopped by before I went shopping next door at winco. They were empty and just opened about 30mins prior. It was my first time here and had to look over the menu. It's a typical coffee menu with espresso drinks, teas, and regular coffees. I ordered a hot latte called "The Anner" which had caramel and cinnamon. It was a good balance of coffee and sweet. They asked for my name when I paid and I thought it was a nice touch when I picked up my drink they told me to have a good day by my name. The big chain coffee shops don't do that anymore. read more

I never knew this place existed till I had a dash here! I always drive by the area and it's inside the plaza so it's definitely a hidden gem! The reviews is what brought me back to this place and I can see why people are raving about Monkey Dog! The drinks we got were the popular ones and I can see why. For me, I really like them because the sweetness is just right. Because it tastes just right, I want to come back and try the rest of their drinks and their signatures specialties. Perfect timing too because for the month of January, Mon-Fri, they're doing 25% off non-seasonal drinks in store only and we found out once we pulled up! They also have some snacks and food to offer, some games so it's definitely such a comfort and vibe to be here. I plan on returning with a friend to enjoy the atmosphere more. read more

Getting breakfast for tomorrow! The worker was very kind and welcoming. Easy to talk to. I ordered 2 large coffees with nonfat milk and sweet and lo, ham and triple cheddar stuffed croissant and 2 of the cocoa pastries. Paid for the order. Very nice, laid back place with great music playing. Also, great wall decor! As he got the order ready, the worker said they had a huge rush this morning and were out of nonfat milk. No problem. Just requested almond milk instead. Shortly later the croissant was pulled out and looked delicious for tomorrow. Made fresh! Great! The worker also wished a good day before leaving. Appreciated! Happy Sunday everyone! I got breakfast ready per usual for mother and I! Croissant split in half and we both get our own coffees and cocoa pastry. The coffee was delicious! The coffee and food I ordered was fine, but the workers here clearly don't care about customer safety. When I arrived, there was a homeless man sitting outside. He started harassing me, trying to ask me about my marital status and "proposing" to me, going on and on about how beautiful I am. I just tried to be nice (because you never know when someone can turn violent based off of a rejection) and went inside and ordered my coffee/food. As I'm waiting for my order the homeless man follows me inside and starts trying to continue a conversation with me. At this point I am very uncomfortable and a little scared, and I'm desperately looking to the employees for help and trying not to upset the man in case he does something crazy. None of the employees would make eye contact, and the ones who did look bored/unbothered. None made any attempt to ask this guy to leave or leave me alone. Luckily I don't live far and my husband was able to get there quickly to come tell the guy to leave me alone and walk me to my car so we could go home safely. We won't be coming again. read more

This was a fun little spot. We didn't wait long to order. The selection was great and the guy who took our order, friendly. It did take a while for our order to come out (we ordered 4 coffees) but they had a couch and coffee table with a selection games (and I think if you're in a hurry, you can order ahead). We played the game "sorry" while we waited... which was fun (they had chess and other games as well). The wait was worth it because we all loved our coffees. I drive by this coffee shop every day and have always wanted to stop, but would be to busy. Today was finally the day that I made time to stop and I am sure glad I did! I let them know it was my first time and also explained what I typically like at Starbucks. They recommended an iced vanilla latte with caramel and it tasted great! I'm surprised I didn't finish it before getting home. I got my husband the wave rider to try and he said it was good. I was tempted to go back for a second trip but figured I could wait one more day! I love MonkeyDog Coffee! I know they opened recently, but I wasn't able to try it out until around finals week when I needed a place to study, and MonkeyDog is great for that! Their coffee is super good (so far I've had the Mokalito & the Almond Honey Latte) and my partner had the Cherry Vanilla Energy soda (which I totally recommend). Their food items are also super good! The service is great and the folks on staff are super nice. I also love the unique atmosphere of the shop that no other local Fresno coffee shops have.
