From what I've tried so far, it's pretty solid! Recently got a seasonal drink with a cute name but it's just a gingerbread latte! It was yum, as a person with a sweet tooth, I was satisfied with the sweetness level. Gingerbread flavor was present and the coffee flavor as well, nice balance~. For their chai latte, last time I got it I wasn't a fan, it wasn't necessarily bad tho. I'd agree on the sentiment from other reviews that interior and layout-wise, it's different... doesn't give the vibes as a place to really study (if you're a college student like I), but great for a quick chat and solid coffee!!! Their menu has variety so I'd come back to try more :D Service was quick and decent, nice worker at the front! Did an online order and he freshly put on my whip cream and asked me beforehand whether I wanted dairy or nondairy

The drinks are good. Ambiance is not it though. Walking in It felt awkward- the way everything is laid out, it feels more like a waiting area in a clinic or something. Lots of people sitting against the wall or standing around - they were clearly backed up even though they were fully staffed. I think partly because of door dash orders. I got the Canadian breakfast sandwich, it was average I would've liked the egg less fried and the English muffin more toasted. The matcha honey latte was great, no complaints. Service was nonexistent , the cashier was so busy that she didn't even look at us when taking our order. When she wasn't at the register she was scrambling to help get orders out. Although it doesn't give off that trendy, modern coffee shop vibe that you get at other local spots the drinks are well prepared. I still recommend to give it a shot.

I'm upset because this coffee shop has the chillest vibe but is so far away from me, so it will make it hard for me to make it part of my weekly routine unfortunately. Staff was kind and patient while I browsed the menu , they quickly answered any questions i had and even offered alternatives to best suit my palette. Not only do they have all kinds of drink options and breakfast foods they also have lots of pastries to choose from including pies from pie mamas! If you are chill down to earth person that enjoys great music this is the coffee shop for you! As for what i ordered: - Turkey and cheese croissant 8/10 ( solid croissant) - pumpkin pie 10/10 -Pumpkin pie iced latte 8/10 ( a little too much cinnamon or my liking but ill make sure to adjust my order next time) Overall a great place with equally great food, i hope to be back soon!

I am lucky enough to live a block away from this place. It has me like, Starbucks who? I don't know her, sorry. This visit was a pre-shopping fuel up, so we wouldn't overspend at the grocery store. Their sandwiches are delicious and just the right amount, and I've never had a bad drink there. The employees are always kind and helpful too, because I never know what I want. They have all the classic coffee shop vibes too, with board games waiting to be played, and even a Lego reproduction of Central Perk. Ditch the national coffee places and come try something made with love. I don't get coffee often, but this is my go to place now.

With our usual spots closed on a Sunday, we decided to give Monkey Dog Coffee a try. We ordered an iced Americano and the cinnamon shorty--both were quite good! However, the experience was a bit mixed. It took a surprisingly long time to get our drinks, especially considering the shop wasn't very busy. The staff member who took our order wasn't particularly welcoming. Since it was our first visit, I mentioned that to her, hoping for a little guidance or a friendly suggestion--but instead, we felt a bit rushed to decide. We'd consider going back for the drinks, but we hope for a warmer and more helpful service experience next time.

Very nice baristas and an inviting atmosphere. They even have some games so we played giant UNO while we wait. The coffee options are so awesome and unique, just wish the coffee was a little stronger. Didn't taste the espresso too much but it was still a tasty unique drink (not so gum drop buttons latte).

Simply good coffee. I went in on a Friday afternoon around lunch hour and there was quite a crowd. With only two employees it was a bit of a wait for my coffee but they were both so nice and soft spoken you really couldn't be mad, so I suggest go when you're not in a hurry. I ordered an ice oat n brown iced coffee and it was delish, not too sweet and I can taste the coffee in it ! Some places the drinks are so sweet the coffee gets lost but not here. Ambiance is very relaxed, jazz music playing in the background. Tables for studying or chatting with friends. There were also plants on the walls for sale as well as monkey dog merch. Will be returning to try the pastries. They looked dreamy!

The monkey mocha is so good, if you love chocolate please try. The almond honey is also very good, it's not too sweet. I really liked the grilled cheese, the Bread was soft and the cheese was crunchy, cool combo. The service was good, they do keep it very clean. It did take little long to get my food but it's not an issue for me. Will be back soon to try more coffee.

We loved this place!!! The coffee was delicious, lots of great options for hot and cold drinks. The food was delicious and all at great prices. My boys liked their smoothies and breakfast sandwiches! Okay I know they are just starting out, but the plans they have for this place sound amazing. The coffee was great and their open to trying new flavors and suggestions which I love, they were super friendly and the atmosphere was just nice to be in. I love little coffee shops and this one has a new feel to it that seems to cater more towards my generation. They don't just have coffee they have the energy sodas and snacks and are building more on the menu based on season. Great coffee and easy chill atmosphere. The cashier was very nice and helpful. It was our first time there and he made sure we knew what each item was. The food was simple, tasty, and fresh. The service here is excellent, they were kind enough to explain the speciality coffee drinks they have here. Definitely a lot of care taken to make your order correctly. The Monkey Mocha is good, nice chocolate flavors mixed into the coffee. Luckily, it's not too sweet too. You can get it without whipped cream and with an extra shot of espresso. The Pizzant is exactly what you would expect, a croissant with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperonis. It's very tasty, nice and warm. It would be a great place to work or study, I see a few standing tables with plenty of outlets. They said they were getting their wifi set up today (7/19/22) as well. There's also 1 restroom toward the back of the shop. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area again. read more

New favorite coffee place in Fresno!! If you are in the area I highly suggest you try it. The employees are so nice, helpful, and friendly. The coffee shop is low key, chill, cute and gives off a family vibe. I ordered the cherry white chocolate latte and it was so unique and not too sweet. My mom ordered the sugar free hazelnut latte and it was so good she couldn't believe it was sugar free. I can't wait to go back again when I'm in the area. This is great spot to visit. Clean, modern and a great spot to relax out of the heat of the Central Valley. Menu has plenty to try, a great variety sure to satisfy anyones taste. I've had a couple of the coffees and working on trying to finish all of the energy inspired drinks. I generally will rate a place high if the product is great, Monkey Dog delivers. The owner is what sets the place apart, kind, friendly and has great knowledge of the drinks. This place is cute! I got an horchata cold brew and I asked to make it extra sweet and the girl even made sure to make it sweet. She accidentally made it blended instead of iced but I told her it was okay. The drink was so good!! It's got a lot of work to do. The decor is tacky. Some items look like they belong in a salon and the other in a restaurant. Neither is the vibe I'm going for. I enjoy a coffee shop with character and quality. Which brings to me to the coffee. Not sure if the espresso machine is back flushed everyday because what ever residuals are left are hurting my throat. Also not sure who roasts their beans, but I'm not impressed. The holiday special drinks are cool though. The peppermint mocha even has real crushed candy cane! I can give them that. Aside from the coffee I wish they would spend more of their down time making their own syrups and not using Restaurant Depot ingredients. It's the simple things that take a little extra effort that would put this place on the map for me. read more

Lightly sweet, bold flavor. Tried Anners and Carmel latte. Both were fantastic! The cinnamon roll was to die for; complimented coffee so well. The folks were super friendly. I'm a bit of a prude though I don't care for food trucks but theres nothing else being offered no chips, no nuts, no small eats. I did see a party inside with little Caesar's and stuff but idk if that's allowed for everybody or just a group party offering. But the mobile restrooms were nasty, humid, dirty, and just felt like a bad option for the area, the steps and the people stumbling out of them idk. Aside from those two things it was a cool spot.

While searching for a local coffee spot in Fresno, I stumbled upon Monkey Dog Coffee a name that definitely made me smile. Despite the playful name, the coffee here is seriously impressive. It had a smooth, rich flavor without any bitterness or burnt aftertaste. I enjoyed every sip and was genuinely surprised by how good it was.
