The Items did arrive safely, but they were two days later than scheduled and I paid $1000 more than Monarch originally quoted. Beware, their agreement is not a contract for service, it is an estimate for service and their paperwork allows them to increase the price. My delivery was not time sensitive, so the delays were only an inconvenience. I received quotes from other transport companies that were similar to what I actually paid with Monarch and I wish I had used them instead. Monarch Transport Group initial booking personnel were very helpful and responsive. I signed an agreement with Monarch for $2250 to haul two snowmobiles from Michigan to California. What Monarch doesn't tell you is their agreement is an estimate of charges. They were supposed to call back within 5 days with a carrier, but they called back finally after 8 days to say they couldn't find a carrier for less than $3250. When I said I had an agreement for $1000 less they said no carrier was available for that price. I agreed, the carrier DRY RUN LLC called immediately and kept in touch during the transport process, but the driver was two days late and the trailer they were using should not have been on the road (bald tires, damaged trailer, and Dry Run informed me they would not be using that driver in the future) I will not be using Monarch Transport Group in the future if I have items that need to be shipped. read more

They made you to sign 10 pages ToS document before you can move further to work with the quote. That signature makes you responsible for all fees and charges you can only imagine. In my case it was $150+ cancelation fee. It was a time sensitive shipment for me and after waiting a few days without result I cancelled the order and they charged me that fee. After communicating with monarch transport about the unprofessional behavior of the driver they dispatched, this driver contacted me again and try to arrange to pick up my vehicle after monarch told me they notified the company of the situation and canceled the transport with them . So is he trying to pick up my vehicle without a contract? This is scary behavior. They have given my information to a driver who is clearly not in his right state of mind. They are SCAMMERS and use BAIT & SWITCH tactics.
