Ship Your Car Now saved the day!…read more I booked a car transport with Roadrunner last week, ignoring the mountains of online complaints in order to save a few hundred bucks. Predictably, Roadrunner, who has one of the worst Yelp scores I've ever seen, botched the entire reservation process, ignored my calls and messages and left me hanging. Fortunately I remembered Ship Your Car Now who I used back in 2015. I reached out and spoke to Jody who really came through and helped me get out of the jam that Roadrunner put me in. Jody had a driver for me in less than a day and the car, unbelievably, arrived in less than 24 hours. I was completely amazed and impressed with their rapid service. The driver was really cool and did a great job keeping me informed throughout his journey. Everything went well, and the car arrived in exactly the same shape as it was when I handed over the keys. He said that he his truck had broke down and he was unable to pick up my car that day, but would be in contact with me as soon as he had a truck in the area. I waited over five days with no direct communication from him. I continued to contact him to get one excuse after another he then stated he was going to have to pay an extra $500 out of his own pocket to transport my car to me. I then offered him to refund my money which he did readily. I then contacted another car transport company. They picked my car up within 12 hours of me signing the contract people never use this company.

If you're considering shipping your car, I'm here to say, it's not an easy process. We shipped our Lexus from South Florida to Wyoming. Taking a look at a US map, you can see, this is a long way through mountainous terrain. I googled Auto Transport to Wyoming. Immediately, I was inundated with 20-30 transport firms advertising shipping rates all over the board. These companies are basically brokers (like real estate brokers). They post your request on the same board that all independent drivers have access to. They charge a brokerage fee. I was completely ready to give up talking to all of the smooth talking "sharpies" in this industry. They promise low prices and then can't find a driver willing to do the job at the low price quoted. This was until I talked to Josh at Zip. He was professional, friendly and honest (was there an honest guy in this biz?). I had a budget, but he quickly told me I might not get a driver at that price. I had to be flexible! The location was remote and drivers base their pickups on making as much money as possible per mile. We went back and forth on the price. We turned down the first driver over price. Josh talked me "off the ledge" and I agreed to pay a brokers fee of under $200.00 to secure a driver to take our Lexus to Wyoming. An additional $1600 was agreed upon to drive the approximately 2500 miles to Wyoming from South Florida. Once the deal was inked, Josh provided insurance for the driver and paperwork we needed to secure our driver. He prepped me on getting a bill of lading after the inspection of my vehicle and cautioned me on how to pay the driver. These drivers will not take a personal check or credit card...we had to have a money order or certified cashiers check made out to the company and ready when they dropped off the car. I cannot lie, the process is nerve-wracking. The driver showed up 24 hours later as agreed upon. He was professional and courteous. We said good-by to our Lexus on Friday, and it was delivered, as promised 1 day earlier to the destination in Wyoming on Sunday at 6 pm. We couldn't believe it! The driver, Michael, called our broker in Wyoming 3 hours beforehand to arrange delivery, just as I requested. The Lexus was delivered in tact and perfectly. I had read every review on Yelp and selected Zip because of the great reviews. I'm happy I selected this company and recommend them highly. It sure beat putting all of those miles and wear and tear on our Lexus. We had an excellent experience. read more

I made a general online request for quotes to move a truck from Edisto Beach, SC to Rock Hill, SC, and immediately started getting emails from carriers making offers. Most of them looked like they were computer generated. This was on a Sunday and I needed to move the truck within a few days. Sean from Zip Auto Ship reached out by phone that day and warned me about the range of quality and prices I would get. He sent me an email with reviews of his company and several others so I could get an idea of how other people rated them. Since he was the only one who took the time to call me on a Sunday, and his reviews were positive, I asked him to find a driver. Very soon after, he informed me he had it set up with a company to come Tuesday morning and pick the truck up to be transported that day to Rock Hill. I left Edisto Beach on Monday to go to Rock Hill, and told the seller I would have the truck moved on Tuesday. They agreed to stay in Edisto long enough to sign the bill of lading for the driver. Tuesday morning, no word from the carrier. Sean called them, and I called them at two different numbers and got nothing but voicemail. The carrier returned no one's calls, and when I Googled the carrier, I found a complaint on another site about the same problem. I called Sean and asked him to find another carrier since the first one was not performing according to the agreement. He was back with me within a few minutes and said he had it covered. He called the sellers and told them about what was going on, and the new carrier called them soon after to let them know he was coming, but not until about 5:00pm. The sellers arranged for their neighbors to wait and sign the bill. The carrier was there at 5:00, loaded the truck, and texted me to let me know they were on the road. They came straight to Rock Hill with my truck and unloaded it by 9:30pm. I was very impressed with their professionalism and I appreciate Sean calling to make sure everything worked out. I am truly amazed and blessed! I just want to take the time to say THANK YOU and let others know my experience!!! I thank God for allowing me to find the "needle in the haystack"...JOSH ANDREWS, owner of Zip Auto Shipping!!! My dad had been in and out of the hospital over 20 times within a 6-month span and I knew that I had to go to Florida to spend time with him and didn't know how long it would take. My desire to relocate to Florida to take care of my dad after a heart attack and a scheduled major heart procedure (and turned out my mother ended up in ICU, too) was a task that I didn't have any idea of what to do to make it happen. So, I opted to ship my vehicle instead of renting a vehicle due to the uncertainty of the duration of my stay. I was very nervous and under heavy stress. However, I made the mistake of putting my info into an online advertisement for a quote to ship my vehicle. I was bombarded with over 50 different companies texting, calling, and emailing me. The situation added stress to an already stressful situation and I almost gave up because I didn't know who to trust. But God...blessed me to find Josh out of the dark clouds of confusion. Josh (a ray of sunshine) put me in the capable hands of a very reputable and reliable carrier to ship my vehicle to Florida roundtrip back to Las Vegas. I ended up staying in Florida for 3 months. My dad is doing very well and was happy that I was able to spend time with him. Also, my mother is out of ICU and on the road to recovery. Zip Auto Shipping is A+++!!! Josh is professional, timely, and genuinely cares for other people. He made the process of shipping my vehicle stress-free. I am telling everyone about Josh and my experience. When my vehicle broke down in Florida, I got bombarded with emails and phone calls when I went online to request for shipping cost to Virginia. I received an automated email from Zip Auto Ship and read their reviews. I was impressed at the comments. I called Josh and left a message. Josh called me the next and apologized for not returning my call due an emergency. He explained to me the whole shipping process like being patient because it might take a while to get a carrier and other things. He offered me a discounted fee for not able to get a hold of him. He updated almost daily regarding my request. He turned down an offer because the shipper has a bad reputation. After about a week, I asked him how come some brokers claim that they can find a carrier soon. Josh explained that I will go through the same process that my request will be on the board and will wait for a carrier to pick up the vehicle. He asked me if I want to try somebody else and he can take my name off te board. I told him that I will stick with him because he has been working with me and that even I do not know him, it seems that he is honest and can be trusted. He called me after a couple of hours and he said he found a carrier to pick up my vehicle that afternoon. He gave me the shipping cost for the carrier and he told me that he is not charging me a broker fee. He said FREE for me. I received emails from him the next few minutes with the contract, insurance, and vehicle condition documents. The following morning, the driver called me and he said he is on the way to deliver the vehicle. The vehicle was transported with no damage and the driver was very pleasant. I called him up and thanked him for his efforts. Sorry for the long comment and I just wanted to share my experience dealing with Josh. I rarely leave reviews, but in this case I believe Josh has well earned the 5*. I shipped a car from CA to MN. After reading all the horror stories about car shipping brokers, I was ready to drive the car myself - even though straight 30 hours behind the wheel was not exacltly my idea of a fun weekend... I actually found Josh in one of the negative reviews someone left for another shipping company after they failed to puck up the vehicle, and the client went with Zipautoship. What caught my eye was the spotless 5* record on google, and, as it turned out - on yelp as well. When I called, Josh was very upfront with me about how things work in this business, and clearly laid out all the potential risks. Considering the fifty 5* reviews I decided to ship with him, and the car arrived today safe, sound and exactly on schedule. It is my understanding is that there are companies that push volume (the majority), and there are companies that value their reputation. Zipautoship is the latter. Josh only works with operators that have a clean record and are properly insured. The fee is very modest considering the service you get. And finally, what makes all the difference I guess, is that he is the company owner, vs an employee who would rarely care for the clients as much as the owner does. After filtering through endless sketchy and/or poorly reviewed auto ship companies, I finally stumbled onto Zip Auto Ship. Josh is experienced, thorough (he vets drivers for clean driving records), quick to respond, and really tries to make the process as easy as possible. I shipped my 2015 Toyota Corolla from Northern Virginia to Central Washington in early January. Scheduling a driver to deliver a car in the rural mountains right after holiday was not easy, but Josh put me at ease he would get it done. He found a driver, Vitalie, for $1400 whom which Josh gave me the contact for both him and the dispatch, Nick. Vitalie gave me quick updates with 24 hr advance notice of his location upon pickup and arrival. Upon scheduling, Josh said shipping takes 7-10 days. This took 9 days, which shocked me considering heavy snow storms and mountain passes en route (I was mentally preparing myself for Josh and Vitalie to tell me another week). Josh even gave a call the day of arrival to make sure everything was smooth sailing. My car was safe with no scratches and I'm very happy with the end result! The price was higher than what I budgeted, but I was willing to pay more for the peace of mind of putting my car in the hands of a reputable company. Overall highly recommend! Josh follows through on everything, and I mean everything, from the time you employ him until the time you receive delivery of your car...and beyond. He is pleasant, friendly and answers every call within minutes. He is very meticulous in his choice of shippers. I had a small problem when I received my car-it had a few scratches from the road. The shipper actually pointed out the minor issue to me and accepted the responsibility. I was moving from Florida to Arizona. Since it was such a long drive, I decided to send my car and take a flight. Trusting anyone with your car is a very delicate matter to say the least, so I made sure I read all the reviews I could for every auto transport company out there. ZipAutoShip stood out because of its seemingly impeccable record, so I gave it a shot. From the first time I talked to Josh I knew that I was going to be able to have peace of mind because he was upfront with the costs, the timeframes and the service overall. And my instinct was right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Zip Auto Ship Don't waste your time or money on other companies. We did lots of research and talked to allot of movers shipping a car cross country. They will say and do anything to get you into a contract. That is what happened to me after I signed with another company, they never returned my calls until I told them I was cancelling. It cost a little money to do it but it was worth it. I found Josh at Zip Auto Ship on yelp. He took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Was there for me during the entire process Josh got my car picked up and delivered for the times we needed. The car shipper and driver were very nice and friendly we had no problems. Let me start by saying that my wife and I were very skeptical going into this because of a bad car-shipping experience we had (with a different company) about 10 years ago. Anyway, this time we needed a car shipped from Connecticut to Florida, so we called ZipAutoShip based on their reviews. We dealt directly with Josh (the boss man). He was very personable and he explained every detail of the process. Bottom line: We called on Friday, the car was picked up Monday, and the car was in our driveway by Thursday (six days total). The entire process was smooth and went EXACTLY as Josh had described up front. The drivers were also excellent; polite and professional (shout-out to Goodway Enterprise Corp). If I could give 10 stars I would. In June, I had to ship my daughters car from Florida to Texas. I had never shipped a car before and was unaware of how it worked. I did an inquiry online and proceeded to get dozens of responses with varying costs and time frames for both pick up and delivery. Josh called and explained the whole process and said "even if you don't use me I want you to be aware of the process and how to check companies out". I was impressed with the no pressure approach and help. After a zillion phone calls and emails from other companies (over whelming!) . If you want the best, hire the best. Josh Andrew is that man. He only uses the best drivers and they deliver the best results. I saw all of his 5 star reviews on YELP and I knew instantly that this was the man to hire. I moved a car from California to Florida. It got done in 6 days. I was moving from South Florida the Chicago area. I did not want to drive my car. I reached out to Mr. Andrew from Zip Auto, the initial ph conversation was very friendly and courteous. Additional follow up calls were welcomed and he took his time to answer all of my questions. As promised the driver picked my vehicle on time on a Wednesday, he told me the vehicle would be there on Saturday. The process of having a car shipped can be very daunting. There are many pitfalls and challenges. If you are unfamiliar with the process, as I was, then Josh at Zip Auto Ship is the best choice. I knew NOTHING about the auto shipping process. Josh took his time explaining how things worked and what to expect. He was proactive and easy to reach. When our car arrived later in the evening than expected, Josh was easily available and instructed the driver to make delivery in the morning instead, so we would be able to do a proper inspection of our car. I have an old Studebaker that was getting a new interior in Knoxville, TN and i live in Mason City, IA. Sean Irvin got the car shipped very good and right on time. When the car was done, i called Sean and he got things arranged in a very timely fashion and at a very good price. The pick up was scheduled for a couple of days with delivery in 2 days after the pick up. The service was done in a very timely fashion as I said before and Zip Auto Ship is the right people to get your car shipped where you need it, when you need it there. Contacted Josh to ship our 4Runner to Tampa from Salt Lake City. He was very professional and up front with the cost and process to get our car safely to Florida. He called to ask if we could ship a day earlier than planned as he had located a five star shipper that operated out of Tampa. The car was picked up at our home on schedule and the driver offered to hold it at his house in Tampa until our arrival. Called the driver when we arrived, and he brought the car directly to our house on a one vehicle trailer. I decided on Ameriglo because of a letter the owner Zach left on reddit. I was initially quoted over $3,000 from the website, so I decided to call. Zach answered the phone and gave me a quote for $1,658.00. He said the original quote was based on mileage but because my car was going to Miami, a popular spot, he could do better. Everything went as planned this company has excellent communication and will keep you updated regularly. My only complaint, delivery time was scheduled between 8:00-10:00am; however my car did not show up until 5:45pm, and I received multiple calls giving me erroneous updates about delivery. The car arrived in perfect condition, no marks or scratches albeit dirty but that was to be expected. Guy driving the flatbed was very nice, professional and competent. Zach followed up with a call and apologized for the bad communication about delivery eta. This was something minor as the entire process was great and if I move cross country again, I will call Zach and use Amerigo.
