I have shipped cars before and have never been impressed but the experience with Zip Auto Ship was by far the best one ever. Great communication, great price and great service from the vetted carrier. Josh actually takes the time to explain how the car shipping business works and once you have an understanding of how it work there is absolutely no other choice!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Zip Auto Ship for shipping your cars across the country. I've never shipped a car before and my wife found Josh at Zip Auto Ship. He took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Then he quickly booked both cars, one for less than his initial recommendation, and one at the recommendation, for the exact dates we needed, so he came in under his estimate which we really appreciated. Then the car pickups went flawless. Both picked up on different dates, and both by the same company, the car shipper was very responsive, called ahead of time both on pickup and delivery, and delivered both cars in tip top shape. And... they were early on both cars - one from Los Angeles to Cleveland in about 4 days (I don't think the driver slept). My wife and I would certainly use Josh and Zip Auto Ship again in a heartbeat. He made one of the stresses of moving very simple and easy. read more

After reading a lot of bad reviews for car transporters, this was the only company with good reviews. I didn't care how much, as long as the service was good. We felt taken care of by Josh, he tried to accommodate us in the best way possible. It was our first time shipping a car, so I didn't realize the amount of flexiblity that was expected on our part. But I was pleased with the service and everyone involved was very kind and accommodating! I would definately use this company again. read more

What a EASY experience! After days of research and very hit and miss reviews I stumbled across Zip Auto Ship. Josh was so great from beginning to end. With finding a driver, to keeping up the great communication the whole time, and the car arriving a day earlier than expected we couldn't be happier! This was our first time ever doing this and Josh easily took away all the fear and unknown! Don't look any further! read more

Sean Michael is an absolute genius! I've had a few cars shipped before with other companies but Sean from ZipAutoShip explained how the whole process worked, was very honest and professional! I definitely recommend everyone to try Zip Auto! If I can rate the experience I had out of 10 I'll rate it 100 out of 10! Sean is the real MVP! We've used Josh a couple times within the last month, shipping 2 cars from different parts of the country. Josh was nothing but professional, going the extra mile on several occasions in order to make us feel comfortable along the process. Josh is the one that will get things done, and he will see you through every step of the way. If you're looking for someone to help ship your car, Zip Auto Ship is absolutely the way to go! I had a truck shipped from Louisiana to Florida and Josh was extremely helpful at every step of the way. Any questions I had he would answer. Josh is a very straightforward person and made the process of shipping a vehicle a lot smoother. Once again, thank you Josh. 10/10 read more

I shipped a car from Florida to California with ZipAutoShip and dealt with the founder Josh directly. Short Version: He was with me every step of the way, and was very diligent and transparent in explaining the whole process. The car arrived in California without a dent. Long Version: Understand that 99% of shippers who quote you aggressively on shipping your vehicle are brokers. Including Josh, to which he clearly told me 5 minutes into the phone conversation. These auto brokers connect you with the actual shipper, and receive a fee for matching you with a reputable shipper, as well as making sure the whole process is smooth. It is very rare that the person speaking with you on the phone is also the same company that is physically moving your car. With Josh, he: - looked for shipper with a 100% rating (no exceptions) - looked for a shipper with valid cargo insurance (1 million in my case) - charged a flat fee - helps you negotiate a reasonable shipping fee with the shippers - was available at every checkpoint and responded promptly Just to compare, most other brokers: - will not charge you a flat fee (instead, they have best interests to give the shipper guys least money possible, to take more cut) - are more lax with choosing a cheaper shipper that is less than 100% rating/insurance validity - charge you immediately: you will have no recourse if the shipper decides not to show up, and are completely reliant on the broker to reschedule for you A good analogy would be: Would you buy a house where the broker/realtor doesn't breakdown to you what the cost of actual fees vs actual house. versus would you buy a house where broker/realtor charged flat %, so you know the rest of your budget is for the actual product. At the end of the day, Josh was transparent in the beginning about his role in this shipping process, very efficient in keeping you up to date with documentation, very reassuring in the whole process, and connected me to a wonderful shipper. Hands down 5 stars! read more

Josh is the owner of this business and got me out of a jam. I didn't do enough research for shipping cars and only until I wound up getting burnt did I find Zip Auto Ship. I'm glad I did because Josh not only got me out of my jam but secured a private transport with some of the nicest most professional gentlemen I've ever done business with. So happy to find Josh and his network of transporters. read more

Excellent 1st experience for shipping my car from the east coast to west coast!! Highly recommend! I initially booked my car to be shipped with Montway; however they had failed to find me a trucker to ship my car on the dates they promised. I had been browsing several car shipment companies to replace Montway as a plan B, as I was flying out and moving to the west coast in 5 days. I stumbled upon Zip Auto Ship on Yelp, while researching other car shipment companies and decided to give this company a shot. Josh, the owner of Zip Auto Ship, contacted me roughly 20 minutes after I submitted request for a quote. It was already after business hours, but he took the time to explain to me how auto shipment companies work. He laid everything out perfectly clear for me to understand (a person shipping a car for the very first time). He gave great advice and walked me through the process step-by-step. Josh was great at communicating and keeping me updated via both phone calls and texts. Josh was actually able to find me a trucker the same evening and my car was shipped the next morning! He kept in touch when my car was picked up, as well as when it was delivered. The trucker was very friendly and kept in touch with me along the way. My car arrived safely on the west coast in 5 days (the day I arrived on the west coast). I highly recommend working with Zip Auto Ship for getting your car shipped. I would definitely contact and work with Josh again, if I ever needed my car shipped again! Thank you!!! read more

Josh is an absolute life saver !!! Look no further ! After I 'fired' the original company I had booked my car shipment with (Montway) two days prior to needing it shipped, I was scrambling to find someone to get my car on its way from Atlanta to Oregon. Long story short, Josh contacted me, and after doing a bit of research and vetting, I decided to have him handle it. He worked with me after hours and over the weekend trying to find a driver to get my car. He kept in constant communication throughout the entire process which was such a relief for me. He was honest from the moment we spoke and explained and walked me through the entire process. He was able to find a driver who picked up my car on the evening 04.24 from ATL which I picked up in Portland on Friday morning. Thank you Josh !! I'll be reaching out when it's time to ship my car elsewhere - you're amazing !!!! read more

BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! STOP LOOKING FOR COMPANIES - YOU FOUND THE BEST ONE RIGHT HERE! Josh, the owner of the company, was available for me 24/7 and was always a call away. I had several requests and complicated issues for my case but he was still patient and was dedicated to work with me to get my car from Hawaii to where I needed to in Tennessee. The driver he hired also delivered my car a WEEK EARLY! :) You pay an invoice to Josh and his company and pay the driver cash (typically) upon receiving your car. I can't say enough that my experience was a sold 5/5, way beyond a 5/5 actually. THANK YOU JOSH! read more

I was very pleasantly surprised in all aspects of this experience. They were friendly, responsive, communicative, on time, and accurate. Fred, the driver, had to deal with the guard house gate keeper, Ishgibish, because I had several appointments the day he came to get the car. Fred got the keys from Ishgibish and the car from my house. Everything worked without a "hitch" and when Fred delivered the car to my dad he even gave him a GIANT hug from me!!!!! LOL. Thanks, zip auto ship! Highly recommended. read more

Josh from Zip Auto Ship was amazing! I had to ship my moms Toyota Sequoia from MN to CALI and it was a smooth experience. They typically tell you it'll be about 7 days, but my mom was able to get it in 4 days, which is great! He will be there every step of the way so you definitely get all your questions answered via text/call/email unlike other companies who never answer or email you back. Definitely an honest and loyal company who won't say things to you just so you book them. He'll give you options for pricing, what is the best and also do background checks on the person who will be shipping the vehicle. The last thing you want is someone who is sketchy delivering your car! I will for sure go through Josh again! The best! read more

Josh, the owner/broker of Zip Auto Ship is HONEST, knowledgeable, professional and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY. I HIGHLY recommend the services of Zip Auto Ship, without hesitation. Prior to hiring Zip Auto Ship, I researched many companies and spoke with many customer service representatives. All wanted the total fees pd upfront and most seemed shady, at best. I was quite worried until I stumbled upon Zip Auto Ship's reviews on Yelp. My experience with the company was as positive as all the reviews say. When I first contacted Josh, he took the time to explain the process in detail, promised to walk me through every step of the way and keep the lines of communication open. He delivered on all his promises, and went out of his way to help me when an issue came up. The car arrived at it's final destination a day and a half later, without any problems. Josh picked a truck driver that was very professional and pleasant to deal with. Thanks, Josh! I'll definitely call you when I need to bring the car back home. read more

Well once again I am so beyond impressed with the owner Josh from Zip Auto Ship. My car had to be transported from Tucson, Arizona to Philadelphia. I called him on Monday within an hour he called back & was able to have the car picked up the SAME DAY & shipped. Everything was as smooth as smooth can be thanks to him. If you are debating.... debate no longer .. Zip Auto Ship is the answer! read more

Josh is awesome. My husband was hesitant to use a separate auto mover and wanted to find a moving company who moved both home and auto, but the reviews are low for so many moving companies. I chose Zip Auto Ship because of the ratings. Josh knows what he's doing and he found us a reputable transporter. Our four cars were delivered safely from Broward to Tennessee. The price was reasonable. If we ever need cars moved again, I will call Zip Auto Ship first for sure. By the way, I highly recommend Dixie Movers for home moving as well. read more

I purchased a new car up North and live in Florida. I never shipped a car before but decided to use this company as it seemed more personalized and saw great reviews. I never saw a company with all great reviews but I now know first hand why. I worked with Sean and he is very thorough, precise, ethical and keeps his word. He was easy to get in touch with and available the entire process. My car arrived exactly on time and I had access to the actual truck driver, who was driving my car. He arrived within his promised time at the location I requested. My brand new car did not have a speck of dust on it and came from the showroom, leaving Friday and arriving in Florida Saturday. I could not ask for anything better as things went exactly how I wanted. If you want the best I can tell you this company is it and I would use them again in a heart-beat. read more

I had a great experience with Zip Auto Ship! Josh is extremely knowledgable about the industry and won't BS you. I needed a car shipped from Scottsdale Arizona to New Jersey. I had gotten some quotes from other companies but they all seemed a little high. I called Josh and he advised we should offer a price right in the middle for the shipping company. Turns out, right in the middle was hundreds of dollars less than what the other companies were quoting me! Josh took the time to find a trustworthy shipper and coordinated with them on my behalf. The car was picked up in Arizona and took about 6 days to arrive in New Jersey, faster than the quoted ETA. It all went without a hitch and the car arrived as promised with zero damage! I will absolutely be using Zip Auto Ship in the future if I ever need to transport a car. Josh is a stand up guy and will work hard to get you what you need. The best find ever! I have shipped many automobiles around this country, from New York to California and back, New York to Atlanta, GA and back & New York to Florida and back....and I have never dealt with a more professional, responsive, communicative, caring, pleasant & trustworthy company! Josh, the owner, was simply AMAZING and Nick, the gentleman that picked up and delivered the car, was spot on...picked up & delivered the car when promised. I entered the auto transport industry with no knowledge or awareness of how it works. After putting out a few requests for quotes, I quickly learned that the industry is very competitive and that finding a broker to work with who you can trust is instrumental. This led me to look at reviews and so I chose Josh at Zip Auto Ship based on his reliable track record. Josh delivered immediately, finding a solution to transport our car within a day. This was excellent. I had been told by others that this would not be possible. I believe I got a very fair price for the transport itself (to ensure that it actually got executed - there is a tipping point between getting a good price and getting the shipping actually done!). Josh got paid a broker fee, which is very important, as the broker is essential to getting the job done well, and I feared a bit those who would sacrifice their broker fee entirely to get you a better price. Then they may not have the bandwidth to really advocate on your behalf. So I viewed Josh's strategic decision to not negotiate his broker fee as an actual plus. Josh was excellent at educating, answering questions, and being there whenever needed. He was professional, flexible, and patient with me as I got the payment made to him (I botched up, so it was not as immediate as it should have been). The trucker allowed me to pay online, which was very helpful. The trucker and his manager had some difficulty communicating effectively around the timing of their pick-up (out of Josh's hands), due to some unforeseen circumstances with a flat tire. This caused a few hours delay on the pick-up side, but we were able to meet in a convenient location and get the car picked up, which was the most important. The trucker, Pedro, was a genuinely nice and hard-working person. Our car was delivered across the country (from San Rafael to Boston) in 4 days!! This was incredibly fast. We didn't get much notice on the delivery side that he was close - it came much faster than we expected! Again, it all worked out, and the most important was getting the job done. The car arrived safe and in perfect condition, so quickly. Thanks to Josh and Pedro for great service! We are grateful to have worked with you and will certainly recommend you and use your services again one day!! read more

Awesome company to use for vehicle transport and delivery . I had a great experience and highly recommend them.

All I was looking for was a simple way to get my vehicle across country. Josh articulated the process in such a way that I wasn't overwhelmed with information. The pricing was better than most competitors, which was a plus, but the crux of it was the communication. Others I talked to were far more confusing, and when I asked questions, they treated me like I was a pain in the ass customer they didn't want to deal with. Got my vehicle in super fast (Boston - LA in about 4 days). Couldn't be happier with the service. read more

My experience has been nothing but AMAZING! From the minute Josh picked up the phone a few weeks before pick up until the day of drop off the service I received was flawless and without a doubt smooth and let me not forget very punctual even during the holidays. It's very hard to just hand keys to someone and trust them with your vehicle but Josh and Pedro did an awesome job. My pick up was Florida and drop off was Texas. I would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for the amazing service. read more

I know Josh, the owner, told me not to write a review until the I receive the car. However, I can not contain my gratitude. This is the first time I am having a car shipped. I knew nothing about shipping cars, but Josh went out of his way to help me. Not only did he split the cost of the shipment up from the cost of him finding me a car he did it at an exceptional rate. All other car shipment companies wanted to charge me fully upfront (this is a scam so beware). Do not trust these companies as all these companies do is pair you with a person that will ship your car. The other companies want to charge you extra to profit off of the shippers price point. With Zip Auto Ship I paid Josh a small amount to secure a carrier and now I am waiting to pay the carrier upon arrival which is scheduled to be 3 business days from Miami to Philly. No middle men profiteering with Zip Auto Ship. If you do not pick Zip Auto Ship you are likely signing yourself up to be taken advantage of. Once again I knew nothing about car shipment, now I know everything because of Josh one million thank you's. Such a gentleman. I will provide another update upon receipt of car. Thanks again, read more

After wasting almost two weeks waiting for a pickup from a shady, sleezeball auto transport company (Roadrunner), I finally gave up and called Josh. Car was on the road with in 48h of calling him and he communicated every step along the way via email and text. The price was also almost the same as the shady discount company that couldn't seem to accomplish anything. Do yourself a favor and just use this company instead of anyone else.
