I wish I could leave 0/5 stars for Truthful Transport and Rose Trucking LLC USDOT Number: 3211101 because they are everything but truthful. When I called Nicole Dernick I specifically asked for a driver who is reliable, professional and can understand / speak English so I could talk to him about my vehicle. She reassured me that my asks were doable and my vehicle for sure was in good hands. Well, that was absolutely untruthful. This company is a broker who uses another broker. I ended up speaking with more than a handful of individuals throughout this whole transaction and yes, some that didn't speak English which made it difficult. After unreliable schedules, the seller of the vehicle calling me saying my vehicle is about to fall off the transport truck, being yelled at on the phone, threatened and hung up on my vehicle finally arrived but damaged! For awareness - I know the seller of my vehicle, everything was documented (mileage, pictures, videos, etc) it was also sold on a high end site that also documented every single little thing. My vehicle arrived with 6 additional miles, pouring oil (over a 1/4 of a quart of oil by just sitting overnight) and overheating. When I contacted Nicole she gave me the carriers insurance information. I called just to be told that carrier hasn't had that insurance in over 6 years and it's expired. Contacted another insurance provider I found online - they advised me I had to go through cargo insurance. Now I submitted a claim and have been reporting this scamming company called Truthful Transport on every platform I'm able to including BBB. Furthermore, the driver showed up and didn't even give me a single piece of paper. I would stay very very far away from this broker unless you want untruthful, unreliable and unprofessional service. ****furthermore - the owners Nicole and Todd Dernick have family, friends and bots leave fake 5 star reviews on all platforms to boost their ratings. Nicole has made a fake account under "Audrey White" amongst many others to stalk customers on LinkedIn profiles then harass them and threaten them at their work emails. She has done this to a dozen people who have left 1 star reviews. She's harassed them at their employers, via text, call, email - not very smart and very desperate**** I attached a couple pictures to show the owners harassing people who left one star reviews (completely legal). Nicole has created 5+ fake LinkedIn profiles to stalk and harass people. Police have been involved. Imagine having nothing better to do and being this desperate for business. on 3/17 /23 I dispatched a car for haul from Naples to Atlanta. It NEVER showed up. I was informed a week or so later that it was totaled by another company the Truthful hired to haul my car and to date i have only seen 2 denied insurance claims by underinsured/ illegally licensed/unauthorized tranporters. Do not use these guys. We signed a contract with them and I sent an email 3 days before pickup verifying the amounts that would be going to the driver and port fee and that email was never answered. I verbally confirmed over the phone the amounts as well a day before pickup. The day the driver was supposed to show up (3 days outside our original window) I got an email from Nicole saying it's going to cost more cash to the driver than the contract stated and that the port fee was less. Shipping from PA to HI. She said it wasn't a big deal, but I know better than to give more money than the contract states. She said she was going to lower the port fee instead to make up the difference but we had no change in contract. This was all done 3 hours before our vehicle was scheduled to be picked up. She said she was calling us multiple times on both numbers all last week and emailing us to try to tell us this, and we had zero missed calls from her. I emailed her back 20 minutes later as soon as I got the email stating she was changing the price to the driver, and listed my number and said please call me and then called their number several times and they did not answer. I even emailed them a few times in case they had the wrong number listed and they did not respond until I told them we were canceling and wanted a refund on our deposit. Now we have to find another company to ship the vehicle which will delay it getting there but at least we know it's going to end up where we need it to and not get a bait and switch. Should've read the reviews before booking. You can believe whatever these guys reply with below or you can see how often I write 1 star reviews and look at the other reviews before booking. They will not refund us our $200 deposit even though they nullified the contract when they asked for more money to the driver the day it was supposed to be picked up. RUN! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS! STOLEN CARS!!!!! My husband selected "Truthful" Transport to move our cars from LA to NH. They were picked up by two sketchy looking characters May 31st, who fussed around and took a lot of photos of the cars (which they sent us in an official looking "report" that, upon closer inspection, was a complete fraud. The transport "company" address was a residential apartment in Brooklyn, none of the phone numbers listed was legitimate, etc.). We asked for confirmation via photo that the cars they picked up were on a carrier that day, and it never came. Later in the week, once we had flown to NH, my husband called Nicole to ask when we could expect our cars. She was very slow to respond, and multiple times all she could say was that she was "checking with the dispatcher." She could not confirm that the shipper had our cars, where they were, or when they would be delivered. We called the number of the driver who picked up the cars multiple times, and he assured us they were dropped off at a warehouse in Philadelphia. Yesterday, Nicole phoned to say the cars would be delivered in the afternoon. No cars came. This morning, we geolocated my husband's Jeep in VENTURA, California. We called the police, and the sheriffs found it parked in the parking lot of the Hyatt Hotel in Thousand Oaks. My car could not be geolocated, since it was an older model Mercedes. So, we paid "Truthful" transport money to effectively arrange for our cars TO BE STOLEN. My husband's car was recovered by the Ventura Sheriff, but mine is nowhere to be found. During the entire nightmare, Nicole and her husband Todd were evasive and unhelpful. Nicole ignored my text messages, and dismissed my concerns when I told her I thought the cars had been stolen. I have no reason to believe they aren't in on the scam, given their behavior over the past two weeks. What kind of company allows you to pay them to entrust your cars to them, hires thieves who steal your cars, and then avoids answering your calls and addressing your concerns when you suspect foul play? A SCAMMER, that's who. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. Bait and switch company. They offered me a price and said that I wouldn't pay a penny more. It was $750 to ship my car from Fort Lauderdale to Boston. I put down a deposit of $250 and the balance was supposed to be due upon arrival. When they arrived they Held my car hostage on the truck unless I paid 800 cash. I ended up having to pay it and try to get the $250 deposit back which was unsuccessful so I ended up paying over 1000. Do not use Truthful Transport. I had a fixed $500 price to ship my vehicle from Pembroke Pines to Chicago. They requested a $100 deposit. I paid it. The carrier arrived a day late. The driver requested the full amount $500 or he would not take the vehicle. I had no choice but pay the price. I was flying home that day. I called the broker. She said, I can contact the driver. Have him leave the car and find someone else to pick it up. She also said, we should not have quoted you that price. I said I have a fixed contract price. She said Sorry! My first time relocating and Truthful transport helped me in relocating my vehicle from Michigan to Texas as promised. I would have given them 5 start however i had some car pick up schedule related problem however it was seamless as my Sales Rep Nicole was very responsive to all my emails. They picked up the vehicle on Friday evening and was delivered as promised on Monday. I thought it would be Monday evening when the car would be delivered however it got delivered by 10 am. After my experiences with other shady auto moving companies I was about a thousand percent sure that all auto transport companies were simply stealing my car. Even Nicole's friendly demeanor still had me questioning if my car was in fact going to arrive in Hawaii within a few weeks as promised or if I had simply just paid someone a grand to take my vehicle away from me forever. Not so! My vehicle is here and fabulous. I would highly recommend this company as your auto relocation expert. They did lose one star, though, because their use of third party truck drivers (which is expected when I'm in California and they are in Florida) resulted in a slight miscommunication and almost caused my car to not be shipped in time. It was my understanding the truck driver was coming on Tuesday for my car, but I received a call Monday asking where to meet. When I called the company, Nicole guided me through everything and completely alleviated any stress that I initially had. I contacted this company in the beginning of May to receive a quote for door to door car shipment that would occur at the end of June. I then followed up at the end of May to ask for an updated quote for two vehicles door to door from West Coast to East Coast. The price quoted was immediate and followed up with a digital contract which drew non-refundable deposit funds the same day. The contract stated a specific rate due on delivery and I likely should have known something was shady because I pointed out an error in the contract via email but no response was given. This company then went radio silent for 3.5 weeks. I called on the Tuesday before anticipated pick up (which was Friday)and was told the driver would be in contact with me the day before. Thursday comes and goes and no contact. Friday the pick up comes and no one reaches out. I call at 12p PST (the company is at 3p EST...so almost a full work day) and am told they or the driver will call back. At 4:55p I call to inquire about ETA as we are a military family on orders with a timeline. I receive a call back within 20 minutes saying the driver got delayed and would not reach us until Tuesday or Wednesday. I inform Nicole (company owner I'm assuming) that we are scheduled to leave Monday and she reassures me that she will work through the weekend to try and get us a driver on time. We exchange calls asking for ETA and updating about leaving the cars or driving them to a more convenient location ONLY. We end up leaving the cars with a neighbor and the driver finally contacts us and takes possession on Wednesday July 1st (5 days after anticipated date). Driver is from a different company and in constant contact about delivery. On July 7th, driver contacts regarding delivery and paying balance which he says is $1000 more than the price on my contract. Here is where Truthful Transport is uncovered as lying, fraudulent transport. I send the driver a screenshot of my contract to confirm balance and he sends me a copy of the contract between his company and Truthful Transport for $1000 more than MY contract. The contract also originates on JUNE 26th, meaning my car was NEVER going to be picked up on the 26th despite what was in the contract. Upon contacting Nicole she comes up with every excuse in the book even going so far as saying that my contract is now with the company represented by the driver despite NEVER even seeing a contract from them; however I DO have proof of a contract between Truthful Transport and the shipping company. She gets even more fraudulent by saying she can rewrite a new invoice for the updated amount so that we can recoup that money from the military. And I saved $100. I was told to pay balance upon delivery by money order or cashiers check. But actually cash it's OK too FYI. I would definitely use this company again. This was my first time doing any transport or buying any vehicle from out-of-state and initially I had no idea on what to expect I soon found out that the vehicle transport industry is full of people who will tell you anything I have to transport a vehicle from Houston to Northern California and within 5 minutes of putting a quote online I had probably 10 people call me within the first 5 minutes to 30 minutes and every one of them told me that they have someone the next day that will be able to drive my car or be able to transfer the car from Houston to Sacramento area well the first person I signed up with she was really pushy on getting me to sign up by 10 in there so because I had no experience . After talking to a few people that called for quotes they called me and not feeling really comfortable about what they've said and the uncertainty if they had I went online and started looking up transport companies and that's what I found Nicole and truthful transports. Nicole has made it a calming experience and a good experience from the day I contacted her she was in communication with me via text and found me a driver who had a cell phone number and we were also texting back and forth and she found me a driver within the first week once the driver picked up the car they took pictures of it we were in communication the driver each day update me on where his whereabouts are and the price that Nicole quoted was the actual price there wasn't any hidden fees the driver knew exactly what he was expecting and they didn't try to scam me in any way at all they were completely honest I had a great experience and now that I know that Nicole can make the out-of-state transfers so much easier I would not hesitate one bit to have her transfer another one of my car's thank you so much Nicole! read more

GO ANY WHERE ELSE. This company is the worst I only picked 1 star because you can't pick 0. They created a nightmare for me and has done nothing to try and resolve the issue. I bought a truck in Ohio and needed it delivered to Idaho. The salesman from the dealer recommended this company so I called them. I gave Nicole the vehicle information and was told they could transport it for $1650. I agreed and told her I would let her know when the truck was ready. A couple days later the truck was paid for and ready so I called her and she said because it was a dually 3500 it would cost more because of the size. Now she wanted $1850 and I agreed and paid her $250 deposit. It was July 3rd and she said that it wont move until after the 4th holiday which was fine I wasn't going to be in Idaho until the 11th anyway. The holiday passed and when I called she kept telling me tomorrow. I had to leave Idaho and drive back to Alaska on the 20th which I made very clear from the beginning. On the 13th she again told me (when I called her, she never called me) that she thinks there is someone out of Utah that was going to get the truck tomorrow she was waiting to hear back. At this point I could no longer wait and told her that I was going to fly to Cleveland to get the truck and she agreed to give me my $250 back. Today is Aug 20th and I still have not received my money back and she will not answer my calls. She does not communicate with the customer once she gets her money you are on your own. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The car salesman that recommended her will no longer use her either look for a reliable company for your shipping needs not this company. I'm sure that I will never see my $250 back but I hope that I saved you the headache of dealing with Nicole and Todd (husband). read more

I used Yelp as a reference when selecting this company to transport my car from NJ to TX. After my experience i wish I did not picked them. Communication was good until she received my first deposit, after that she started to ignore my calls and text messages. They selected MWW Transport to ship my car. When picking up my car I did more of an inspection of my car than he did. I took pics of my car and dashboard and even recorded him putting my car on his truck. My car was in good condition just for some scratches here and there. When I received my car the right side of my bumper was not intact. He gave me every excuse in the book! He was just horrible. I couldn't believe the horrible customer service, like it was my fault he messed my car up. We both were trying to get Truthful Transport on the phone, but she never picked up or returned my text. Finally got her on the phone the next morning (just horrible!!!) she gave me a number I can call to put in an insurance claim. When I called that number they said that MWW Transport has not been under their insurance since May 15th (They picked up my car on May 29th) I called and texted Truthful Transport to let her know..and she is not picking up the phone. Nicole was extremely helpful during the entire process. For vehicle pickup, I received a call about 3 days before schedule pick-up, along with the actual phone number of the driver. The driver was very responsive. Although he was about less than a day late for pick-up, he was prompt in giving me exact specifics for the time for the adjusted pick-up. Delivery (shipped from east coast to southwest) was quick, and no problems were found. The quote that I was given included all of the costs (no hidden fees), and the price was comparable to other quotes that I had received. Did they connect us with a moving company? YES. Did they answer our phone calls? YES. Did our car arrive to its destination? YES. Problem is it was not the smoothest experience. Had lots of issues with the company that was chosen by Truthful Transport (TT). What was discussed in the contract and over the phone did not happen. We needed a longer delivery date as we wanted to receive the cars on the other end. TT said the company agreed on the contract to accommodate the delivery timeline. When the drivers arrived they told me It will be in the east coast in 3 days since there are two drivers! There was alot of shoot from the hip answers. The moving company that TT subcontracted took 4 days to give us a BOL!! It wasn't done at the time of the pick up. Picked up the cars on the side of the freeway ON RAMP?!? It was all rushed and made lots of excuses. Not to mention they drove each of our cars to deliver it to us! TT told us they are not allowed to drive our cars more than just to rearrange the trailer. The cars did not arrive on a trailer. The guys who actually transported the cars to us (picked up as well)when delivered tried to rush us in to pay them and sign for the cars even before we inspected our vehicles. Our cars had 20 miles more than when we dropped off the cars. Made lame excuses to why we have 20 miles more in the car (each) than when it was picked up. Always made excuses they "can't fit their truck to deliver the cars". BLUF: if you value your car and want things done right then tread lightly on what moving company TT selects for you. If you just need anyone to transport your vehicle then you will be set and don't care about your car then you will be fine. We told TT our expectations and concerns can't say it was a break down in communication from our end. As for us the process it was less than ideal. Eye opening experience. Hope TT doesn't recommend this company for your move. Nothing to resolve with this company. This was my experience and I want to share what happened so others can be prepared to what expect. I want to thank Nicole and her drivers for the wonderful service they provided. My car came from Deerfield Beach Florida and was delivered to Huntington, New York. Anytime I called Nicole she was always happy to talk to me, she never sounded bothered or annoyed. I recommend them highly. If you're wondering why I didn't give them five stars it's only because the car was supposed to arrive in the morning but instead arrived after 8 PM in the evening. Because of that I couldn't check the car over because of darkness. Thank goodness the car was fine. Small price to pay for the very good service I received. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES!!!!!! They started by promising me my car would be picked up on Friday or Monday FOR $800 door to door. Of course that didn't happen. I called and was told the driver was delayed by the storm which made no sense since the driver was coming from Pennsylvania not Florida. Then i was told it would be picked up Tuesday. Once again didn't happen and no phone called to to me. I had to repeatedly call them. Finally my car was picked up on Wednesday. On Friday i get a phone call from the driver saying this broker is telling him i owe$900 and to collect it when he drops off the car. I told the driver i had in writing from the broker i only owed $800 and wouldn't pay a penny more than that. I sent a text to Todd and Truthful Transport at 3 pm on a Friday asking why he was trying to change the price. No response. THEN TODD, THIS ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL JERK SENDS ME A TEXT AT 1:49 AM saying i owe $800, which was the original price anyway, not the $900 he had between trying to get from me. BUT THERE I'D NO EXCUSE FOR Sending Someone A TEXT MESSAGE AT 1:49 AM ABOUT THIS BS!!! He SAID my credit card was being declined but when i checked with the card company they said he wasnt a valid vendor and that was why they wouldn't let a charge go through to his company. He also sent a text to the driver saying i was trying to rip him off even though i had in writing the original amount was $800. First time ever shipping vehicles and it was a nightmare. I would not recommend this Company to anyone for vehicle transport. Worst experience the most unprofessional people I ever dealt with. I paid a $500 deposit on December 18, 2020 with a pick up date of January 7th 2021 at 8:00am-10:00am for 2 Vehicles weeks in advance final price was $1,200.00 $600 per Vehicle it was originally $1,300.00 but he gave me a Military discount. My flight was set to leave January 7th 2020 at 2pm because my family was moving to Missouri from Georgia for the Military if you are familiar with the Military making a flight is very important to make mission and sign in off of leave. I called Truthful Transportation on 6 January at 9am to verify the pickup of the vehicles and they said, someone will call me back I waited all day no one called me to verify, no text message, no email. On January 7th 2021 the day of pick up my family and I was waiting in our home at 8am-10am. I called truthful transportation and they stated the driver is enroute. At 11am I called asking for the drivers information and they stated they are dispatching driver and the driver will call you ASAP waited a hour no call from the driver. At 12 noon I called back samething they said they are dispatching the driver to come he just left Jacksonville and is enroute. It was getting closer to my flight time and there was a lack and disconnect in communication they where not updating I had to keep calling not one phone call, text, or email. At 1pm I called them back asking is the driver still coming and they said he expected to get there around 4pm. I had to push back our flight time to 6pm which cost me $600. 4pm came around still no driver I called and they said I can leave the keys in the car or with a neighbor which I think is very unprofessional if I'm paying for services I also had High Value Items in my Vehicles they I didn't ship with the Military Movers. At 5pm I called again asking for my deposit back the driver was already 6-8hrs late. They told me No and the Driver is in Jacksonville at the Port dropping other vehicles off. Truthful Transportation didn't care that my pregnant wife and kids was sitting around all day waiting. I had to get authorization from my Commander to stay overnight since I would miss my 6pm flight. Finally around 6pm they said the driver won't be able to make it and will pick them up on January 8th 2021 at 8am. Me and my family had to change flight again and sleep in hotel which cost $300 for flight, a extra $60 for rental car extension and $177.00 for hotel. We had to drive the vehicles to my friend house and hand him the keys. On Friday January 8th 2021 once again no communication my friend was sitting in his house from 8am-12noon until I called Truthful Transportation which they had an attitude like I did something wrong highly unprofessional and said the driver won't make it until Saturday 9 January 2021 and gave me the driver number. Finally 2 days later the Driver came and got both Vehicles on 9 January 2021 at 9am. There was no compensation for my Vehicles being picked up 2 days late, no compensation for the hassle they caused on my family and flight cost. I don't understand how they can do this to a Military Service Member and Pregnant Wife. They are highly UNPROFESSIONAL and BAD FOR BUSINESS. Please go somewhere else before this happens to you. This is the second time I use the services of Truthful Transport. They had my car transported from Houston, TX to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Nicole was again very professional and efficient. She arranged everything within the parameters I requested. In fact, I had to change something at the last minute and they were able to quickly change it and accommodate the request. Truthful Transport scheduled my vehicle for pick-up for a specific date. The driver was suppose to call me the day of the pick to arrange a time. Since he didn't call me by that afternoon, I called him and he informed me that the pick-up had been cancelled. I reached out to Truthful Transport right away for clarification. They said the driver was suppose to call me to let me know it was cancelled, although I think it was also Truthful Transport's responsibility to inform me of the cancellation and to let me know they were working on re-scheduling me with another driver. I decided to cancel my order since they couldn't provide a straight answer of what the plan for pick-up was. When I asked them to cancel, they "fought" me and hesitated to cancel, I had to call to them two or three times to get them to respect by decision of canceling. Very unprofessional!! read more

Truthful Transport was my first time transporting a vehicle from the Midwest to Florida. I was very nervous about shipping "my 1958 Baby" to a buyer in Fla.. This classic car was all original and I was hesitant about selling it online. Truthful Transport had a very comparable price and the driver was excellent. Rarely would I give 1-star reviews of any business, but in this case I feel it is warranted. I will not assume they were being intentionally dishonest (though it felt like it at times), but at a minimum they were inept at: coordinating with carriers, communicating with the customer, and providing the service they advertised. Let me explain... The company advertised door-to-door shipping, took my deposit, and contracted a carrier for approx $1000. Per instructions, I got a $1000 money order and was ready to ship the car a couple days before moving across the country. I gave them an ideal, 3-day window for transport with a "no later than" date. They said the carrier would call the day prior. He did not. When I called, they said he would call the morning of transport. He did not. We called them (1 day before I was about to move my family across the country), and they said the carrier they hired would not come all the way to pick up our car (shouldn't they have known that earlier than the day prior if they are good at their job???). They asked if we could drive OVER AN HOUR away (3-hour round trip) to drop off the car to the carrier. I said I would not do that (for various justifiable reason). I was their responsibility to ship it from the address in the contract, not my responsibility to drop it off for their convenience. A week later - when my family was most of the way across the country - I received word from my friend (to whom we gave the keys, since they failed to ship by the NLT date) that they had finally worked it out. Truthful Transport found a different carrier who was willing to pick up from the address in the contract. Everything seemed like it had been fixed (even though it was WELL PAST the "no later than" date). The only problem is that they re-contracted another carrier for $1500 dollars WITHOUT TALKING TO ME ABOUT THE PRICE INCREASE FIRST. They never even called to tell us. We found out about the price increase FROM THE DRIVER WHEN HE SHOWED UP TO THE HOUSE TO PICK UP THE CAR from our friend (who had a $1000 money order, $500 shy of what the driver's contract said). Since when can a company jack up a customer's carrier rate by 50% without permission? Why did I pay it, you might wonder? Because... Truthful Transport was so slow to fix the problem that by the time I found out about it, I was dependent upon that car to get to and from work on the other side of the country. My family was living with family in another state, so I could not simply use our 2nd car. I had to either go with them or incur the cost of a rental car; either way I was out of pocket hundreds of dollars. I did not have time to coordinate through another company, or else I would have done so. Nor was I going to screw over the truck driver who showed up with a contract for business, because it was not his fault that the contract did not represent the customer. I respected his job and his situation, so the driver and I agreed to pay him the balance upon delivery. So I essentially had to complete the transaction at that point, or the hassle would have probably been worse than the $500 difference. Throughout this entire process, we constantly had to call the company to figure out what was going on. They rarely communicated progress or changes to us, unless it was to ask us to drive our car long distance for their convenience. They tried to "work around" having to provide the full service advertised. They jacked up the price without asking us first (or telling us afterward), instead of eating the cost of their own incompetence/poor coordination. People in general (and military families in particular) deserve much better service than what I received from Truthful Transport. I strongly encourage customers to do business with a different transportation company. Like I said, I will not assume they were being intentionally dishonest, but they demonstrated they were inept at coordinating, communicating, and providing the service as originally advertised and contracted. I have not asked for a refund, and nor do I want one at this point. I am not a legal expert or contract expert, so maybe everything they did was within legal boundaries.
