This was my first time using a moving service and Leny was patient enough with me to explain in detail the expectations and what to expect on my moving day. My move was going very smoothly in the beginning at my pick up location until my unusually difficult couch was giving the movers some trouble for disassembly. They never gave up and took the time to explain to me what the situation was but they got it done and successfully assembled my couch back together at my new place! Leny was very easy to plan with but at a few times just a tad hard to reach but he never took to long to get back to me and even on the day of the move he apologized for the sometimes less than ideal response-time which was very appreciated by me. I do not think many professionals would have acknowledged the fact like he did himself. I am very happy to have chosen to work with these off duty firefighters. The only reason for not 5 stars is that my mattress was not wrapped nor put in plastic for protection, thankfully it came out clean & unscathed but if asked in advance I would have provided a one time use plastic bag if they do not want to carry their own mattress items. They saved me a lot of stress and time with the move taking only a long morning for both pick up with some disassembly and fully delivery with the same minor reconstruction.

The guys were great and hustled during the whole time. My only recommendation, add a cordless drill to the toolbox. Other than the owner, Golan Ramiz, there are no regular employees. He hires day workers and with no regular staff he does not know what he is going to get. I just found a chunk of a leg of a dresser broken off and hidden in a drawer. My beautiful Oak Rolltop Desk will never be the same. He bent the glides on the drawers and just shoved it back together. He took the entire desk apart, when there was no reason to do so and the desk is now permanently damaged. The doors on our china cabinet were taken off and he had to come back to try to repair that as well. The doors still do not open and close smoothly and evenly. Don't even try to get him on the phone. He hides behind his assistant/girlfriend Michelle. Be smart, avoid this company like the plague!

They had plenty of time to wait out the rain (two hour minimum) but no, they were in such a hurry to leave. I had to spend $$$ to buy materials to soak up the water which had accumulated where my furniture was to sit. Plus move the items into the proper position once the water was soaked up. Then, when the items arrived, one piece of sentimental furniture had been damaged due to the water damage and had to be discarded. Just incompetence and a mess all around. When I needed help unloading I didn't give this company a thought, and neither should you. When I complained the company took half off and said that was "the best it could do" Further arguing and it took another $100 off and then said that was "the best it could do" So the first representation was a misrepresentation. And this was BEFORE the POD arrived and I discovered the water damage to the heirloom item.

They showed up in a tiny uhaul half full of all of their equipment because "their truck was full of someone else's stuff" they committed fraud by charging hourly plus travel time. They beat the walls and all of our stuff to death. The owner is an absolute prick, then tried to pressure you to tip. I was good to them and even bought them lunch and still got ripped off. They didn't even complete 1/3rd of the move in 3xs the time it should have taken. What an absolute nightmare! Unfortunately and ironically I was at my storage unit months later and The owner has a nasty temper and got mad at my daughter and I after almost running us over in the storage I spoke up and said hey why are you driving that big truck so fast and close to people in a storage facility? He was absolutely disgusting in response and his wife has to get control of him. For a supposedly god fearing man he sure is a vile human being!!!

They arrived at his place at 11am and to my surprise, they arrived at my home by 12. This was the first red flag. They arrived in an unmarked white truck. Second red flag. 2 old obviously used "mirror boxes" (multiple boxes taped together to facilitate the size of the pictures) with holes in them and barely any tape slapped on arrived, 2 boxes for the 5 paintings. I assumed they must have forgotten the other 3 paintings, but upon inspecting the boxes I could feel that the contents were loose and shaking around. I cut the one small piece of tape holding these extremely heavy paintings together for further inspection. There was not one piece of wrapping or padding. They were simply thrown into old haphazardly pieced together boxes. 2 in one box and 3 in the other. I don't know how they survived the trip to my home in this condition. There was another large maybe 18 cube box with two unwrapped framed pieces that were thrown into the bottom of the box. No wrapping and they didn't even tape the top of the box together. This movers were found by a business card at an assisted living facility and I imagine that's because it is easy to take advantage of the eldery and overcharge for poor work. The owner of the company is unprofessional and rude. She said she was going to get back to me about a partial refund but of course she has not. If I wanted to throw these paintings in the back of my trunk and drive them 5 minutes down the street to my house I could have done that for free. I hired professional movers at a very high price for only one hour of their time expecting a good job to be done but instead I got this atrocious disaster. I will now do this myself. Someone suggested I try Thumbtack. So I put an inquiry out on Thumbtack and SELECT was one of the first to respond - they were professional and very clear on what I was to expect, and the best part for me was they did not require a 3hr minimum. The day of the move they arrived on time, they greeted me with a smile, they were quick, efficient and handled my furniture with care - even going up the stairs and getting my stuff through a tight entryway. They were done in 1.5hrs and I was a very happy customer. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any future moving.

We decided to give them a try and they took all the stress of moving out of my hands and made the process very quick and easy.
