EXCELLENT on all accounts. I did a lot of research in order to safely ship my car from Florida to Maryland. Josh, who is the owner of Zip Auto Ship was outstanding in working with us. He is very responsive and communicative with questions and concerns. He was helpful prior to the cars departure providing answers to all my questions and he was so helpful and quick to answer my questions about the arrival of my vehicle. Vehicle left Florida exactly on time as promised and delivery to Maryland again was flawless. Vehicle arrived safely as promised and the driver who delivered the car was very professional and again on time as promised. Look no further for reliable and trustworthy service.. read more

It gives me great pleasure to recommend Josh Andrew, the owner of Zip Shipping, for all your car shipping needs. I cannot say enough good things about him. Josh follows through on everything, and I mean everything, from the time you employ him until the time you receive delivery of your car...and beyond. He is pleasant, friendly and answers every call within minutes. He is very meticulous in his choice of shippers. I had a small problem when I received my car-it had a few scratches from the road. The shipper actually pointed out the minor issue to me and accepted the responsibility. Josh made certain that the repairs were paid for; and paid, out of his own pocket, the costs of a rental car for 2 days. He even volunteered to drive me to the rental agency! He is the epitome of customer service. If anyone doubts the veracity of this review, I may be contacted by email at gindonweis@aol.com. I will respond and even call you back if you so desire. read more

I was quite nervous about shipping my car from NY to CA after reading some horrible reviews for sketchy broker services and learning about how the industry is unregulated. I called several auto shipping services but Josh stood out in his transparency about the process. He also took the time to explain the process, how his fees work (which were a bit lower than the other brokers I spoke to), and did not pressure me with a sales pitch of only what I wanted to hear. In total the price that he quoted was spot on and similar to other companies. Josh was able to find me a driver who was communicative and on-time. He did not just go with the first driver who accepted the bid given but rather chose a reputable driver whom he'd worked with previously. The car was picked up promptly and delivered with no issues whatsoever. Impeccable service, would definitely recommend! read more

My car was shipped quickly and arrived with no problems. My original driver had a family emergency and had to cancel, so that delayed pick up by only a day. My second driver was still able to make the delivery date. Great experience. Josh was very helpful in explaining the process to me and keeping me informed. I would ship again! read more

Great company to use , I shipped a car from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas and Josh was quick and great with the price , definitely would recommend

I needed to have my F150 brought up to Maryland from Miami. All the other brokers quoted me a much higher price and didn't really seem that all interested in having me as a customer. Once I called Josh, he was professional, kind and attentive making sure I knew exactly all the details of what where and when. His quoted price for the delivery was much better than the other quotes. When delivery day came around, I had a question on the estimated time the driver would be dropping off my truck and he answered instantly. Now I have my truck in Maryland and I am very happy. Thanks Josh, and Zip Auto Ship. read more

Amazing service really does not cover it. The first time I used Josh was in April 2018, he was able to locate and source a trusted Carrier within 1 Day and had my new Car here in 48 hours from Cleveland, OH to Ft Lauderdale, FL. When I found myself in a Jam on 1/4/19 with the need to have a speciality vehicle shipped, a race car, I called Josh and he nailed it once again. He found a low load enclosed trailer within in 2 business days and I received the car 48 hours later. Josh openly communicates, checks-in on the service and provides all the information necessary to make the event of shipping a car totally painless. I can't say enough about how happy I am with his approach to his Customers. read more

It's with great pleasure to write this review...and if I could I would give more than 5 stars! let me start off by assuaging your fears. This process of shipping a car is filled with all sorts of heartache, but Josh has this business figured out. I called him (late evening for him) and he answered the phone and talked me through his process. I told him I was pretty firm on pick up and drop off locations and so he posted my car and my requirements and within 12 hrs he had a transport company that took the bill on my car, and within 24 hrs they were at my house (not a big city) and getting my vehicle). He only uses companies with outstanding track records to deliver your vehicle. My car made it east coast to west coast DOOR TO DOOR in 5 days. Unreal. Hats off to this man and his company! Also a shout out to the transport company SLONIK TRANSPORTATION ! read more

Josh made the whole process a breeze! This was by far the most stressful part of the move for me and Josh made it the easiest part. He was completely transparent and honest and chose a great driver for me. He was fantastic at communicating whenever I had any questions whether it was by phone or email. Could not recommend Zip Auto Ship enough! read more

I hired Zip Auto to ship my car from Ft. Lauderdale to Scottsdale. I was very nervous because this was the first time I've done this. These guys were patient with all of my questions, and held my hand through the whole process. My car also arrived DAYS earlier than the estimated date of arrival..which made my life so much easier! read more

Josh, the owner, did a great job coordinating my car's move cross country! I highly recommend him and Zip Auto Ship!!! First off I have heard horror stories around this industry and I was really nervous getting started. Once Josh went over the process and made sure to answer all my questions almost all of my stress went away. I was assured the system worked and it would all be fine. It was better than fine, it was great! Josh was able to get me my bidding price and the driver of the truck was courteous and professional. The exchange was smooth and Josh made sure there would be no room for error. I was able to pick my car up as soon as I arrived in California. I could not have asked for a better experience! read more

Phenomenal customer service. It's mind boggling how retrograde and scammy so many people in this industry are, but not Zip! It was refreshing to talk with a business owner in a space known for shady characters that was very forthcoming and no-nonsense in his presentation. Josh actually explained the way the industry works and its revenue model. He managed to get my a driver out to my location the next day and shipped it over 1,000 miles of land in less than three days. I'm thoroughly impressed and if I have to ship a vehicle in the future, I'm going with Zip. read more

As a realtor, my clients are always asking for recommendations, especially when it comes to moving. My clients were moving from Ft Lauderdale to Las Vegas and needed 2 of their cars transported. After asking around for different companies, we were highly referred to Zip Auto Ship. My clients had already received several quotes with other companies and they decided to use Zip auto ship once they spoke with them. They just called me last week to let me know the arrival of their cars was a success! I'm glad my clients are happy and that I have a reliable company that I can feel comfortable on referring in the future. read more

Where do I start? I, like everyone else was a little leery of shipping a vehicle from one coast to the next. But, it had to be done. Josh was on top of every aspect from the first time I contacted him. He was very friendly as well as knowledgeable about the business. I had gotten quotes from several companies but I knew from previous reviews, who I'd be giving my business to! He called me with a driver within 24 hours and the car was picked up! Shakir (the driver) was just as friendly and communicative as Josh. This was a match made in Heaven! What they didn't know is that I had just lost my brother and this vehicle (a beautiful Mercedes E300)was his most prized possession. And I felt confident that it was in good hands! Less than a week later, the car arrived in excellent condition at my front door! I am BEYOND grateful for these two gentlemen! I would recommend them a million times over! Thanks for making a sad situation a little easier to bear. Blessings to you guys! Tray read more

Josh with Zip Auto Ship was incredible. He was clear from the beginning of the process, and I trusted him throughout. He arranged a driver to pick up my car from Los Angeles and drop off in Albany, NY, and I had no issues with the process. The driver he found was also trustworthy and efficient. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to ship their car cross country! read more

Absolutely amazing. This was my first experience shipping my car and Josh was great. He explained, in detail, the whole process from start to finish and the driver was in communication with me the whole way through. My car was picked up and delivered on time and arrived with no issues at all. Seamless. I'd highly recommend! read more

I was shopping around for auto shipping services for my long move from PA to CA and came across Zip Auto Ship. They had stellar reviews across the board so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did because Josh was extremely prepared to help me and answer my questions!!! He made the whole process extremely easy for me and one less thing I had to worry about during the move!!! When I first called him he explained the whole process to me and was very transparent about the service he had to offer. This really put my mind at ease. I gave him a tight window period but he worked with me diligently to make sure I had a pick up scheduled within those few days!!! He constantly kept me updated through texts and phone calls and was very responsive whenever I had a question!!! My car was delivered on time and in great condition!! What I thought would be the hardest part of my move actually turned out to be the easiest all thanks to Josh!!!! I would highly recommend Zip Auto Ship to anyone who is looking for auto shipping. read more

I used Zip Auto for my cross country car transportation from California to Florida and Josh made the entire process so easy. From the beginning he told me one price and it did not change. I felt extremely comfortable because payment is not due until your car is delivered to you. My car was delivered within one week which was amazing! Josh was extremely accommodating and gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any questions or concerns throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Zip Auto for any car transportation needs you may have. Thank you so much Josh! read more

This was my 3rd time using Zip Auto Ship, and will continue to use him if I ever move again! Josh helped set up my car to be shipped from MA to CO, did it in the exact time frame I requested, and was helpful and easy to contact every step of the way! Highly recommend! read more

My recent experience with Josh was very professional. I contacted him before the sun came up in a panic a few weeks ago because the other company I had booked with 3 weeks prior never found anyone to transport my mom's car and we were leaving to Texas within hours. Josh explained the process and found someone within a few hours (not weeks) to transport my mom's car and had it picked up before we got on the plane. Although the trucking had some unforseen mishaps (weather and mechanical) mom's car made it to TX safely with no damage. Josh and the trucker kept us in the loop the entire time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and use his services again. Thanks, Josh read more

I shipped my car from Miami to Chicago and was super nervous about getting all last minute details in order. I decided to use Zip Auto Ship because of the yelp reviews I found. From the very beginning, Josh made me feel totally comfortable and was very informative. My car came in less than a week! I am beyond happy with Zip Auto Ship! Great service. 10/10. Would recommend. read more

I cannot explain how hassle and stress-free shipping my car from Miami to Nashville was using Zip Auto Ship! Josh was VERY clear on setting expectations and was ALWAYS available whenever I had a question. It is absolutely worth the fee they set for managing the ENTIRE process before, during and after the car is delivered. 100% recommend! read more

Josh does the job without pain. The reason he gets 5 star reviews is because he goes that extra mile. As an example, I was not in town when the car was delivered so he met the transport driver and drove the car from an area where it could be unloaded to my home. Remember, he is the broker that finds the transport company. He does his best to get one that is reliable. read more

Only after conducting due diligence did I feel confident contracting with Josh. So many brokers get trashed on their reviews, but not Josh. He is a straight shooter who cares about staying in business and getting referrals. I believe that's what drives him and resulted in my vehicle arriving a day early and for less than expected. You'll get his direct cell number for any question, anytime. He is a gem in a mountain of lava rock. read more

Great experience. I got SO MANY calls, text and harrassing emails from other companies. I did my research and found many complaints about so many of the other companies. My truck shipped from NC to CA in about a week. Easy and reliable! Thx! read more

Just a few minutes ago, I posted a review - which I have now deleted - on how much I was dissatisfied with this firm. Within minutes, I received a call from the owner, Josh. I must say that I've been around a little bit in my time and I have never been more impressed with someone. He's a real businessman with a real passion and pride for his company. We resolved the situation in minutes and, while my experience was not pleasant, he more than made up for it. So, that being said, I would absolutely do business with him again. If every business owner had Josh's dedication to his/her business, then customer satisfaction would come up Five Stars all day long. read more

From the start Josh Andrew was very honest about the fees, and he never asked for my payment info. I paid him through paypal upon once my car was picked up. He explained to me how he chooses car carriers, not picking the cheapest ones, but rather those that have a good track record. When I had to change the delivery address by 50 miles, he helped make that possible without extra charge. He was always available via phone and email to answer questions and update you on the progress. I very highly recommend him as a broker. read more

Highly highly recommend Josh and Zip Auto Ship! I needed to get my Honda Fit from LA to NY and was not feeling up to the drive by myself, as a young woman, especially during COVID with a pet. This was my first ever experience shipping a car and I had my hesitations, especially since inquiring online with other companies resulted in a migraine-inducing litany of cold calls, impersonal texts, aggressive emails and every broker telling me that every other broker is a scammer. Enough to make you want to throw your phone at the wall! I was afraid of the bait and switch, my car getting stolen or damaged, working with some bozo who tries to take advantage of a young woman trying to navigate a vehicle shipping industry (not exactly my forte!) But I'm so glad something in my gut told me to check out Yelp - not only did it steer me away from a very problematic broker who left me some *charming* voicemails, it put me on the right path to Josh and Zip Auto Ship. He's the real deal. Josh shoots you straight, helps you understand logistically how everything works and is a helpful companion for this process. He's never condescending or too sales-y, he's on top of his communication, follows up appropriately for what he needs and there were not hidden charges or anything out of the blue. One day I had it on my to do list to check in with the status of getting a truck lined up and he beat me to it! Made a daunting process very easy overall. What he said it would cost, is exactly what it cost. He gave me a 3 day window of time that my car would be picked up, and 3 day window of time my car would be dropped off, based on my schedule and needs. I had door to door pick up by local truck in LA and dropped off in NY. On both ends of the trip, the drivers reached out the day before to let me know they'd be there the next day, and shortly before pickup/drop-off, so no surprises and all very timely. My car arrived unscathed, just needed a trip to the car wash because I opted for an open carrier. This is to be expected after a 3000 mile trip! It doesn't get much better than working with someone like Josh who understands this is a big undertaking and makes it as easy and unintimidating as possible. Your car is in good hands! read more

This review is past overdue! My sister booked with Zip Auto Ship back in December and shared with me her experience with Josh and her driver. Because of her experience, I decided to call Josh to have my car transported from Orlando, FL to Dallas, TX. Josh was professional, from the first conversation all the way through to the delivery of my car. Any question I had, Josh was prompt to answer. Any clarifications I needed or reassurance, Josh was prompt to assist. When he says he's going to call you on a specific day, you can rest assured that he will indeed call you. Josh is thorough in explaining the process from pick up to delivery. Josh even got my car delivered two days before my arrival to Dallas. Henry was my driver and he was also great to work with. He called me earlier in the day to advise he would be picking up my car within a set window, then he called an hour before his arrival and then he called me when it was delivered. Josh's quality of service is great and it is obvious that he only works with the best transporters. With my sister's amazing experience, and along with mine, it was a no-brainer to contact Josh again for transportation service to have my husband's car transported from Orlando to Dallas. Nor will it be a no-brainer to only recommend and refer friends and family to Josh and Zip Auto Ship! read more

Josh helped me ship my car from CA to FL. I found him through Yelp so wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone. I have shipped my car in the past and had a horrible experience with my car arriving with a damaged axle. So I was very apprehensive when I had to ship my car (another one) again. Josh was upfront right from the start. I was open about my past experience and asked a lot of questions. He patiently explained the entire shipping process and how he collaborates with the best carriers. He connected me to a great carrier within a day and they worked with me to pick up my car as close to my flight date as possible. The carrier (Transamerican Transport Inc) was very prompt with communication, easy to work with for scheduling and open to answering questions. They explained how axles sometimes get damaged during shipment when not done properly, and how they ensure that this does not happen with them. They were punctual with the time, made sure they gave me a 30 minute heads up before arriving and very courteous. My car reached me timely and in perfect condition! I am very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend Josh and Transamerican Transport Inc to anyone. Note that they don't have the cheapest rate and are upfront about it. But their rates are very reasonable and absolutely worth the quality service they offer. In fact some other shippers quoted me much higher than Josh and they did not have such great reviews as him. So yes, if you are looking for a shipper with who you can have peace of mind of shipping your car without any damages, do check out Zip Auto and Josh. read more

First time I've ever had to transport my car and looked for broker that had the best reviews. Out of the many that I communicated with, Zip Auto Ship took the time to really explain the overall process and guided me through every step. Sean was fantastic to work with, and answered my questions each time I called. Drop off and PIck up was a breeze with no damage to my car. Would use again! read more

Josh is great to work with. A+ communication, availability and flexibility. I had a vehicle delivered from Ohio to Colorado and Josh was thorough and timely in finding the right driver for the job. We received the vehicle without any complications, incidents, damages, etc. Josh is clear and up-front about the fee he charges and how he does his business. It was the first time I had looked in to this kind of service, as I would normally drive a vehicle long-distance myself, and my anxiety was high after I had put my email address in one of those websites where tons of services reach out to you. All of them seemed to have about 50/50 mixed reviews, some better, most worse. I ended up coming across Zip Auto on my own and after all the reviews of other companies I had read being so mixed, I was even skeptical about Zip having a perfect track record of all 5-star ratings... the conspiracy theorist in me wanted to take over but I didn't have time for that so I called and talked with Josh. Without wanting to sound like an infomercial person, I am very pleased that I went with his service and would refer Zip Auto to anyone I know who needs the service. Should I need a vehicle shipped anywhere in the future I will most certainly be using Zip Auto Ship again. I salute Josh's work ethic. read more

Josh went above and beyond. Before I found him, I assume like many other people I was ignorant and put my info into one of those "get a quote" auto ship websites. I was bombarded with quotes and I could tell pretty much all of them were scams, just brokers trying to take an upfront fee to make me wait and MAYBE just MAYBE get something eventually no where near what they originally quoted. Even more, none of the brokers even came to me with offers from a confirmed carrier. After about a month of my car just sitting I started to really think how can I get this car shipped without these scammers. Enter: Yelp & Josh from Zip. Within minutes of requesting a quote/help shipping from Fort Lauderdale to Northern California I got a call from Josh the owner. He was super nice and informative confirmed that those quote websites are not good news. We came up with a plan and he got to work on it. I got a call back within a few days saying he had a confirmed driver, Josh was upfront and honest about price which was really fair and in my price range that I had spoke to him about previously. He stayed with me throughout the entire car shipping process and didn't push any broker fees on me until even after my car was loaded on the truck and on the way to me. My car just arrived and it was ahead of schedule which was just he cherry on top. I am so happy and extremely thankful with the experience that I received. Very reliable, honest service. I wish more people/ business's had his kind of integrity. I suggest anyone to use his services. If I ever need shipping again I'll turn to him again for help. Just word of advice to others; I found it helpful to look on yelp for someone local nearest where I needed my car picked up. But always search around for reviews on that ship company. Zip has many sources where I found good reviews. & Don't trust anyone who wants broker fees upfront, only pay when they have a confirmed carrier. Thank you again Josh! read more

If you are like me, all you really want is to work with an honest company, led by someone with high morals, who offers fair, competitive prices for their work. A company who will take the time to answer all your questions, no matter how naive they may sound, or no matter how many times the company has had to answer the same questions every day of the week. I spent a lot of time and money to get the automobile that I wanted, and I did not relish handing it over to people I did not know (or would ever meet). That level of trust does not come easily to me. Having wrote all that, I can strongly recommend Zip Auto Ship with complete confidence. Founded, owned and operated by Mr. Josh Andrew, Zip Auto Ship is that rare jewel in a mine full of coal. Mr. Andrew will communicate with you throughout the entire process, from your initial conversation to the delivery of your car. If you are new to auto transportation, he will be happy to explain the entire process of how the industry works. He will find you the best deals available, and with drivers that have the cleanest records. He uses only fully licensed and bonded drivers. The protection of your car is paramount to him. I contracted him to transport my Honda S2000 from West Palm Beach, Florida to Princeton, West Virginia. It left on Monday night and arrived on Wednesday, without a scratch and in the daylight so we could go over the car easily. (Photo enclosed). If you give Zip Auto Ship a chance you will not be disappointed. read more

I really can't say enough great things about my experience with Josh. I had tried previously to work with 2 separate companies to ship my car from Florida to NJ. One company took my reservation and I basically never heard from them again, despite countless emails and voicemails. Another company was slightly better with communication but quoted me a certain price and sent me a "confirmation", then when it was time to ship the car the price was doubled without any explanation. Both companies left me feeling in the dark and suspicious about the industry, like they were hiding something. Josh was the complete opposite - from our 1st conversation he was completely up front about the entire process and how the pricing worked. He even convinced me to wait a few months so that the price would drop. Once we booked, his response time and overall communication were top notch from beginning to end. Like I said, with other companies I was basically left confused in radio silence, but Josh was constantly reaching out via email, text, and calls. On the weekend of delivery when I couldn't reach the driver or trucking company to find out the ETA, Josh was on it and they got back to me in minutes. Zip Auto Ship is simply a quality operation that puts the customer first, can't really ask for anything more than that. read more

Josh is the type of guy who makes car shipping convenient and trustworthy. He gave me great service with courteous and quick follow up and really has a handle on who the good shippers are-he will protet you from the bad apples. Josh found someone to ship my old Jag in spite of the fact that it is easier to ship newer, smaller mainstream type cars where fewer things can potentially go wrong. He worked around my schedule very professionally. From talking to the actual guys who shipped my car, it's pretty clear that car shipping is a rough and tumble business. Haulers have to bust their chops and not mess up or crash the cars while jacking them up 12 feet in the air on a daily basis-- trusting the cars they get have functioning brakes and no other mechanical surprises. Then they have to collect upon delivery from individuals who hopefully have the money as promised. Glad to work with Zip and Josh and his crew. Go with them for your car shipping needs and you will be happy. read more
