Ended up hiring Monarch Roofing to redo and replace our entire roof after the previous company we hired did such terrible work. I was not looking forward to this process again but Monarch Roofing made the process quick and easy. They told me the roof would be done in about 2 weeks and it took them only about 6 days or so. They did the tear off in one day, replaced all the damaged wood the next day and began installing the new flashing, felt and tiles soon after. The entire process was quick and efficient. And everything was up to code! They pulled a permit and the inspectors approved their work without any problems. Most importantly their work was high quality and there was no BS involved. It seems with some contractors you have to watch their work because they like to cut corners (hoping you wont notice) and I didn't have to worry about that with them. They kept everything real and did everything right. The wood replacement, the tear off, installing felt, new flashing, vents , etc was done well. When I had a question, they answered truthfully and educated me on a lot of things. They replaced missing broken concrete tiles and reattached some loose ones. It's hard to verify the actual quality, because I do not wish to climb on the roof and confirm. But outside looks great. They moved some tiles from inconspicuous location in the back to the front of the house in order to match the color of the missing tiles. Some other tiles they painted. You cannot see any difference. Their quote was not the lowest, but they provided more services, cleaning gutters, caulking and mortaring. Throughout the entire experience, Ashley communicated back to me promptly. She was very accommodating, and put my wife at ease when it came to color matching issues. Excellent cleanup. Left our yard cleaner than it was before they came on the job. The only minor issue to point out is the fact that spoken English proficiency of the crew (3 people) was poor. Regretfully, I do not speak Spanish! We had to use Google translate by speech app. Another time, Ashley was able to join on speakerphone and clarify things with the foreman (Yoko). Having said that, it's nit-picking. I would only take a quarter point off due to language barrier. Therefore, to me it's still a 5-star service! Definitely, will call them first in the future if we ever need any roofing job! read more

Where do I start? I called about nine roofing companies. Some responded with a typical "both owners have to be there before you can make a appointment " sales tactic. Monarch roofing is the most professional and reliable roofing company i have dealt with as where most other roofing companies wont call you back or not show up when appointments were made in which i experienced. I had a water leak at my lake arrowhead cabin and contacted monarch roofing and they responded quickly and started the emergency process of ordering material and scheduling me to repair within 2 days! Ashley was so fast acting and organized and prepared its unbelievable. Its super rare to find good contractors in general on the mountain top but ashley and adam drove from Orange County to repair my roof. I cannot tell you how happy i am to have found and hired them to do the job . While repairing my roof Adam found some other issues that need replacement from the original roofer in which i will be having them complete aside from the original repair work pictures were sent to me while doing the job and constant updates were given to me .
