I decided to choose Monarca Movers because of the reviews they had on Google. To begin with, Monarca was really quick in setting us up for a move. My boyfriend sent in a request for a quote in the morning, and we had someone calls us from the office within the hour to give us pricing and explain all of their services. The lady that I talked to on the phone was very helpful because she was willing to send me all of the information that we talked about over the phone to my email. When we finally scheduled our move, we were given a time that the movers were going to arrive, and they actually showed up about 30 minutes ahead of time. During the move, the driver did all of the talking and he briefed us on how everything was going to be handled. The three guys that we had worked efficiently since they spread out and each mover was always doing something, so they finished our entire two bedroom move quickly. I was really grateful when the guys unhooked and reconnected our washer and dryer even though it is not something they usually do. Overall, my boyfriend and I were extremely satisfied with Monarca. All of the reviews we read about them were true, and choosing them to move us was the best decision we made. In 3 months we, are going to be taking our stuff out of storage and putting it back to an apartment, and we have already scheduled our move with Monarca! Even on top of their great prices, I still got $25 discounted from my move. Apparently the coupon only works when your move is $300 or more, but the team leader made an exception and gave me the discount since I was only $10 under. These guys were pretty good! They finished the job before me early, so they started my job an hour early. A one bedroom 2nd floor to a 2nd floor. They wrapped the dressers in plastic which was nice and disassembled and reassembled my bed. It took them an hour and a half. The travel fee was only $35 for me because it was a close move and that's the cheapest I could find and makes sense that it depends on distance. They didn't move lamps or anything open or too awkward. They're not 5 stars because the 2 hour minimum--they could have stayed another 30 minutes and organized the load a little better. Every thing was dumped inside and could have been divided a little better with that time I paid for. Also, one mover kept handing me stuff to unload from a big mover box. Those things are really small, but I noticed them because they did them to move fast and get out of there when I had paid for 2 hours. Great job overall! Thanks! read more

I moved from Washington State to Dallas TX and I had to store my furniture for about 1 week because my new home wasn't quite ready yet. The movers I got were very professional and so fast! I thought it would take at least 3-4 hours to load and unload. It was just over 3 hours but 1 of those hours was having them wait because I was finishing a walk thru with my landlord so I knew I would have to pay for their time waiting but I did not worry about it because they were so efficient, courteous and careful. Monarca has helped us out twice, and both times were great. Last November they moved my father-in-law to a retirement home about 3 hrs away. They were able to come load everything on the evening before the scheduled move and we got underway first thing the next morning. They do not waste a second! They got everything unloaded and situated in the new place and were done very quickly. Not one single item was damaged or lost. Last week they moved a large chiropractic table from my home to an office in a neighboring town. It was very heavy and an odd size, but they figured out how to maneuver it around two doorways and corners. It arrived right on schedule, and they carried it in and helped get it set up and were gone. I can't say enough good things about this company! I honestly do not know where to begin! These gentleman are AWESOME! From the moment we spoke on the phone to schedule my move to the moment they were packing up to finish, they were nothing but professional. I was not prepared at all as I have never used a moving service before and a lot of my odd shaped items were not in boxes. They explained what I needed to do in the future and helped me out anyways. Monarca Movers were super fast they emptied my my apartment loaded up and we were off to my new place in record time. Everything was finished within a two hour time frame and I was more than pleased. I called Monarca Movers on a short notice for my move because another company cancelled on me. Thankfully they were able to fit me in their schedule and the nice office employees even called me the day before to confirm my move. The guys were punctual and showed up to my house on time. Upon arrival they were very professional and friendly and finished my move in a couple of hours. They were careful with my furniture, and managed to move all my things to my new house without any accidents. I called Monarca Movers because I needed somebody to move a few pieces of furniture into a storage for me. They did an amazing job and didn't have any accidents. A few months later I called them again so they could move my entire storage unit to my new house. Again, the movers were fast and efficient, even with the big pieces of furniture. The lady at the office called me a day before to confirm and the day of my move the movers were there on time and ready to work. Their prices are very fair considering the quality of their work and their speed. In the long run you save money by using good movers than cheap and unprofessional movers. My husband and I downsized from a house to an apartment. Monarca made the move truly stress free. They showed up on time, were efficient and quick in loading our stuff into the van, and handled everything VERY carefully. They even took the bed apart for us, and reassembled it at our new home. Service was above our expectations. Monarca charges by the hour, so there are no hidden or confusing charges (weight, volume, etc.) As with most movers, they do charge a very reasonable fuel surcharge, depending on miles traveled. I had such a great moving experience with Monarca. I called 4 days before I was supposed to move and they fit me in their schedule. I moved from 2-story townhouse in my apartment complex to a 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor in the same complex. I am glad there were 3 movers because the move went really fast. Never once did I see the movers standing around or taking any breaks. They were hustling. They were very professional, nothing was broken or scratched. The move did not take long at all. My moving team was kind and friendly despite the the confusion regarding third floor versus second floor confusion and no elevator. No damage done to my property and they helped with a large, heavy Fedex delivery that was left downstairs instead of being delivered upstairs as planned. I was nervous due to bad experiences last year with furniture being damaged but Monarca was extremely careful with all items, helped organize heavy things in new apartment and reconnected the washer/dryer.
