Not the place it once was. No gas. Not sure about the food (if available or not). Now a vape shop.

My family spent a weekend at the Omni Resort and had a great time. With that said, we've stayed at…read moreother Omni properties and this one has a lot less to offer the kids. It was a quick trip, so we managed to keep our little ones entertained. Frontier Tavern is a great option if you have kids since it's the more casual restaurant on property and has a variety of seating with a more lively atmosphere. They also offer an extensive kids menu with crayons so they can color and stay entertained. The main issue we had here was that the service wasn't really the best. We ordered our son's meal and repeated it at least 3 times since we've been working on getting our son to talk to servers. However, our son's meal came out first and it was completely wrong. The server was apologetic, but it also made it hard when the rest of the meals came and he had to watch us eat ours. The main entrees for me and my partner also came out cold. My partner got the shaved steak and cheese sandwich, which was soggy and just okay. My meal was also okay, the pulled pork sandwich but felt like it was drowning in sauce and was also served cold. Our daughter ordered the French Onion soup and she also didn't love it since it didn't taste as good as others. I'm not sure what that means! She is only 5 but clearly has elevated tastes! Finally, we asked for some other sides and our server pretty much forgot all that we asked. He was friendly but just not the most attentive. In the end, it was an okay experience and we'd probably go again. But it's a high price point for this area and had much better service at the other restaurants on property.

Very disappointing from the start. The table was sticky and filthy, with remnants of old napkins…read morestuck to it. The Bloody Mary, called the "FILTHY MARY" ($17), was described as a Bloody Mary infused with house spices and seasonings, including Tito's Handmade Vodka, tomato juice, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and lemon. It tasted like the ingredients were pulled off a Walmart shelf and tossed into a glass. I would recommend they invest in a proper mix like Zing Zang. The chips and queso were simply bagged tri-color chips with a small crock of cheese. The Caesar salad was below average--bagged croutons, random stems of lettuce, and an oddly sweet dressing. The brisket mac and cheese was especially disappointing. While the portion was large and the mac was OK at best, the brisket was shameful: small cubes of tough, rubbery meat. I didn't eat it--it wasn't worth taking.

Plus at the end it wasn't slow at all but pretty average paced if you ask me. My friend ordered the artisan fruit and cheese board to share and it was really good. We especially liked the contrast of the honey mustard and zing sauce.. I got Will's Mountain Club on grilled sourdough and its as on point...tons of flavor, just the right combination of meats and sauces and really crisp delicious bread. Service was outstanding, like really attentive and good, super friendly, very accommodating. Couldn't have been any better. One of the biggest things I loved about this place was their support of local artists. They had local fine art for sale everywhere around the restaurant. I was on a motorcycle otherwise I'd have taken several prints home but I had nowhere to put it. I did copy the artists names down and placed a couple orders when I got home. They also had things like sourdough chocolate chunk cookies for sale packaged inside. I bought one to eat later, never had a sourdough cookie before and it was great! They have a garden outside that's fun to walk through and I'm assuming they get some herbs from it for their meals. Good sized parking lot and easy to get in and out of and if you're on a bike you can park on the concrete by the building instead of the gravel. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Rode all the way up from Cumberland where we were staying and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Good, fresh farm-to-table food. Many gluten free options. Nice atmosphere. Fun find on our drive…read morefrom Philadelphia to Pittsburgh just a mile off the turnpike.

I ordered the French dip which was amazing (beef sandwich with Au Jus dip). Trust me- get this! The surf and turf burger was alright- though we may be tough critics because we are from Maryland and love our lump crab cakes! The crab cake was a little extra fishy tasting but the burger and fries were good! Oreo cake was delicious and the Eggnog Martini was spectacular! We also tried the Hot Apple cider cocktail with spiced rum which was yum. Sadly women's bathroom soap dispenser was not working though. If you're there, check out the gift shop. I would come here again on our next roadtrip up north!

I had lobster ravioli and the oatmeal pie, which were delicious. They also have a little gift shop next to the tavern, which has some very nice gifts and decor for purchase. I purchased a couple Christmas ornaments. The gift shop building also has a big fireplace so it is very warm and cozy in there too!

The whole time we were in the region he kept asking to go to a place that had a playground. I honestly couldn't find one in the areas that we were in and on our way back home we ended up in Bedford and just happened upon a playground location. He was excited and I was relieved. Finding a playground location for a fast food restaurant anymore is like finding a unicorn. When we entered my nephew had a one track mind, playground. But I made sure he knew that we were there to eat and we had to order first. We went through the motions of ordering and waited for our order to be ready. I swear I never seen this kid hightail it through the drink station in hopes to down his food so he could hit the playground. Of course we had to sit in the playground area. I had to have him focus on the food and once he ate some, I set him free to bounce around the playground. I don't know kids do this, but they are able to make instant friends and can play for hours. I let him go for a hot minute and all the kids in there seem to end their playtime at the same time. He came back over, finished his food, and was ready to go. The food was standard. The staff were very customer service focused. The place was clean, and it was busy.
