Beef & lamb, and chicken kebab mixed grill plate
    Long K.

Good: Probably the best beef/lamb kebab I've had, being super flavorful with a great grilled flavor. The garlic sauce is addicting and will definitely linger...so no I don't suggest this midday during work if you are trying to avoid the deathly garlic breath. Bad: While the chicken kebab wasn't dry, it just tasted bland, like it didn't marinate well enough. The chicken "gyro" may as well be shredded chicken pieces, which was not expected. The rice definitely needed more seasoning and was bland by itself. The pistachio baklava is on point, but (2 finger food-sized pieces/order) is atrociously small for the price. This place has potential, but has some issues to work on to be better IMO. Online ordering made pickup easy and everything was ready on time at least.

Falafel rice place to go (pita provided on the side)

A very welcome addition to the area that's maybe a little too close to my work! I was happy to see that the nasty pizza place was going out and being replaced by MoMo's...sounds like a place that has at least a few veggie options. The first time I wanted to go it was Ramadan and it seemed kinda disrespectful to go, so I patiently waited and finally went last week. I went about 30 min after they opened and I wasn't the first one there and they appeared to have go-to orders going out as well. My food only took about 10 min to prepare, but by the time I left almost all the tables were full. Always a good sign! I went with the falafel rice plate since it basically has all the fixin's. Definitely a really great plate that was good for 2 meals. My only regret was either not getting a second pita...or maybe just piling more goodness on the one I had? Not enough pita. Either way, I really enjoyed my lunch/dinner and I definitely see myself coming back here!

This photo shows how many times I've called to get help from the business.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! I placed an order online and I hit the food truck icon. I ordered gyro fries baklava and a Sprite to be picked up at 12:00 from the food truck so I didn't have to wait in line. I called after I placed the order around 10:30 to make sure I was good. No one picked up. I got to the food truck around 12:15 and I told him I was here to pick up an order. He said I did not have one. I swiftly showed him a copy of my online receipt and he said that it was at Renton. I know I hit the food truck button and some how the order went to the store. I asked him if he can make my order here? His answer to that was no. I asked him if he can give me a refund. His answer to that was no because the food was already made at the store without him calling and seeing if it was actually made yet. So I then asked him so you get to keep the $28.11. I paid for Gyro fries baklava and a Sprite and I get nothing and I got a blank stare. I then asked him if he could place the order on my phone for the food truck so I can use my wallet in my phone. He said no that this happens all the time. Then I asked him if it happens all the time then he knows it's not my fault. So I deserve a refund or gyro fries. This company knows that there is a problem on their website refuses to fix it and refuses to help customers get their money or their food their criminals.

This was the best gyros I have had in a very long time. I have also had the plates and salads. Exceeds expectations! Am sorta becoming a regular.

I ordered the chicken gyro plate to-go and it was delicious. The gentleman working behind the counter was super friendly and was very proud to say that all of the food is made from scratch. The quality and taste was excellent. I will definitely be back soon!

Delicious Greek/Mediterranean food that was ready super quick! The Greek salad situation in the falafel plate was under a huge tomato slice. The Greek fries with that creamy garlic sauce & feta was amazing.

Shawarma spiced wings sound great. Read my review to find out more.

This place is in a tiny little strip mall amongst the giant warehouses. I just saw it driving by on my way to my airport hotel. I'm so glad I stopped fun venue. Nice variety. Everything from vegetarian all the way to kabobs and shawarma. And gyros. I started off with the shawarma wings. You get your choice of three different sauces but for me there was only one choice which is garlic which is how I love my shawarma to be covered in. What an outstanding choice! They are so good. Then I did a lamb chicken gyro plate. It comes over rice. It's drizzled with what I'm going to guess is some sort of yogurt sauce. It served with a side of hummus with a little bit of oil on it. Delicious combination comes to the hot pita you can dip it. You can eat it with a fork. You can eat it by itself. And then it is a cute little Greek salad and the other little portion of the to-go container which was nice. It was cucumbers and a vinegar-based dressing. I'm definitely going to come back to this place in the next time I do. I'm going to get kebabs. And of course the wings! I got everything to go but there are some clean tables in there but not a turn of personality in the place. If you're in for lunch, great. If you come in for dinner, it's kind of quiet. Only people coming in to go food. Parking's right out front and I didn't go to the restroom.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.
