I found a thai restaurant near the beach. Located in a shopping area with tons of parking to choose from. There's patio seats out front by the water fountain. The restaurant has a tiki look, papaya station in the back as well. I must have been feeling homesick to order some sausage and sticky rice. My server was very nice and attentive. We saw Mojo Thai after not finding parking at the first restaurant, but what a great find this was! The place is clean and welcoming and we ordered lunch from a menu that had a large variety of Japanese and Thai dishes. The sushi and sashimi selection is amazing, hubs got the sashimi and miso soup for lunch and he enjoyed it very much. A quick word here, while the sashimi is beautifully presented, it's not a substantial lunch if you're hungry. They also offer Japanese dishes like teriyaki, tempura and yakisoba for a more filling meal. The Thai side has a variety of dishes like curries, salads, fried rice and pad Thai noodles, they even have a kids menu. I went with the basil chicken and it was one of the best basil chicken dishes I've had, either here or in Thailand, very flavorful with a delicious sauce. You can order the food to your preferred heat level and the staff is very helpful. This restaurant is nicely decorated and they know their way around good Thai food! Such a great find if you're in the mood for Thai and/ or sushi! My family and I came here for dinner on a Saturday afternoon without reservations. It wasn't very crowded, they have some outdoor seating and plenty of parking. We all enjoyed all of our meals, as they arrived fairly quickly after placing our order. We tried the beef thai fried rice (They give you a decent portion), green curry, mango tango sushi roll, and Massaman curry. For dessert we got the fried banana, not bad! All plenty and delicious! We had a nice booth table, our server was attentive and friendly. Restroom was small and clean. Atmosphere was casual, and loud. Came in for a sushi dinner on a Friday night. We were seated right away. This restaurant is in a big shopping plaza so there's a big parking lot to park at. Tried a few different rolls. The fish was fresh, the shrimp tempura in the rolls was still warm and crisp which I really appreciated. Often times the shrimp tempura is soft and soggy so this was a big plus. read more

No complaints! Ordered sushi online for pick-up to go, and it was super easy. Really liked that I could pay when I arrived, and they gave me extra sauces just like I requested. I enjoyed that the menu offered tried and true favorites as well as some unique rolls that I had never heard of. My chicken Pad Thai was one of the best I've had with plenty of nice size pieces of tender chicken, the fresh roll, edamame and crab Rangoon appetizers were delish and not skimpy. Sushi rolls were beautifully presented and fresh. We also had a couple of desserts: tempura brownie with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and the little Thai donuts hot and fresh drizzled with icing and dusted with powdered sugar. Everything was super! The only thing I would change is to not sit by the front door during the summer. Hidden gem! Stopped here for a lunch during a Saturday farmers market. They were not too busy and the space is relatively small and darkish, like a Thai place should be! I had cashew nut chicken and it was AMAZING. I'm so happy with this meal! Perfect level of spice. The flavors were excellent and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was perfect, there when you need them but not bothering you or in the way. This was our first time at Mojo but it definitely won't be out last. We got crab rangoons (pretty standard), a sushi boat that had 2 rolls of the chefs choice and the mango sticky rice (which was very delicious!). Where this night went wrong was with the wait. The meat was juicy and the vegetables had the perfect bite. I ordered the tempura chicken dinner. I'm not sure if I got it right, but on the menu it says it comes with rice. We got masaman chicken curry in medium which was just the right amount of spice and was delicious! The entree came with miso soup and white rice and vegetables it was just the right amount of food. We also ordered a Thai coffee that was really good as well. Went here on a date night out for the first time since the kiddos are at sleepaway camp. Lucky for us we arrived in time for their happy hour. We each picked 2 rolls and my husband got the buy one get one hand rolls also. The food was all very fresh and tasty and the presentation was very nice. We sat at the sushi bar.
