After passing this restaurant dozens of times, we finally stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is kind of hidden from the street, but the strip mall parking is good and Pho An has a pleasant atmosphere as you walk in. We sat down and our server quickly bought over menus with a good selection of pho, vermicelli salads and the Banh mi sandwich, which was hubs choice for lunch. I decided to order the vermicelli salad and it was fresh and flavorful. This restaurant is small but clean and the chairs are comfortable. We had a nice lunch and the price didn't seem too high. I must say that Pho An has been the most authentic Asian food I have had in south west FL in the past few years I have been traveling there. Full disclosure, I do not think they are as good as the Pho places I am accustomed to in NYC. Every restaurant's broth will taste slightly different. Pho An's taste a bit too sweet and cinnamony to me... but it isn't bad in any way IMO. Their noodles are fine. Loved that they provide bean sprouts (although not the freshest), basil and lime on the side. For me, their Pho didn't measure up in the meat dept. Too over cooked. I was very happy to have found a CLASSIC Banh Mi in FL! I have had trouble finding it in the areas I frequent in NY. LOVE the pate and Vietnamese ham... it really hits the spot all combined with mayo, cilantro and good, crispy baguette. I now know where to go next time I tire of the run of the mill chains next time I am in the neighborhood. Our servers were very courteous and pleasant. The establishment is nothing like what an Asian restaurant would look like up here in NYC, but, it is clean and bright. read more

Somewhat disappointed at the lack of flavor of the soup other than a strong fish sauce flavor. Due to their simple menu offerings, I was expecting their beef pho soup to knock it out of the park. I ordered the pho special with four kids of meat and the servings are not generous. I would have expected the broth to be simmered with more Beef bone / oxtail / leg and neck bones to extract more flavor. The meat was mostly at the bottom of the bowl so the rare beef was completely over cooked. No amount of herbs/limes would have salvaged the broth. Thankfully they had the rooster sriracha sauce that helped partially save the day. The iced coffee with condense milk is really strong and yummy. I came here on a Friday night for dinner with my family. Despite the pouring rain, this place was packed. There was limited seating but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We ordered the special pho noodle soup, the grilled pork banh mi sandwich, the grilled chicken over rice platter, and the pork vermicelli bowl. The grilled pork banh mi sandwich had great toasted bread and nicely grilled pork. However, there were not much pickled vegetables (carrot, daikon) at all and instead they put a lot of cilantro and scallions. The special pho was a bit bland but it had a lot of meat. The grilled chicken was juicy and the rice was flavorful. It was nice to find a place that has decent Vietnamese food in Naples of all places. read more

I am a fan of Vietnamese food in general as you have the relatively easy option to go spicy by physically adding or removing jalapenos and/ or siracha/ other chili sauce - which makes it easy on the stomach compared to say Indian, Malaysian, Indonesian, etc where menu has curried fare. So it was difficult to decide off the bat from the simple menu since I wanted everything but know I can't eat everything. Ultimately I went with the chicken and rice dish with a worry that the egg won't be well done and alas it wasn't. Whew! (Thank you French influence of showing how delicious a runny egg is). The rice was even seasoned well (with chicken oil?) Meanwhile, sitting next to us - a girl alone who I shall call Hero. Focused. Earbuds on watching a show on her phone propped by sauce bottles slurping on a bowl of pho... AND a bahn mi. Only small things to tweak - more pickled veg in the bahn mi, less ice in the bubble tea, 3-5 more hours/ more bone for the pho broth, and this place would be perfect. read more

Pho An's food is totally undesirable AND the service follows. When I was there, I ordered the Pho with beef flank and tendon. The noodles were mushy and the broth was beyond blend. I let the server know that I didn't like it after taking a bite. From my understanding, she was going to take the meal off of the check. When I went to check out for the soda, I was told that the Pho would not be taken off the bill. I let her know that I will not pay because the meal was uneatable. I was met with rudeness and was told to never come back to Pho An again. If I could give the restaurant 0 stars, I would but Yelp doesn't allow it. New to me, so I went and tried it. It's in the King's Lake Publix shopping plaza. It's so busy there and such a hassle to find good parking. When I walked in I noticed how everything was clean and cool inside. The staff were friendly and patient. I ended up ordering an order of egg rolls (3), pork spring rolls (2), pork banh mi, and a signature tea without the boba. The tea was good, not too sweet, the sandwich was ok, I thought it would've been more filling, the spring rolls were ok also, not enough meat, and the egg rolls were great. I would most definitely order the egg rolls again. I'll probably try the pho from here next time, but the sandwiches were a no for me, unfortunately. read more

Little place in a strip mall. Had special pho and a spring roll, both were excellent especially the pho, great broth, all the side (sprouts, basil, peppers). Huge bowl took half of it home. They have boba teas, not a huge list but I had green tea milk and my friend had Vietnamese coffee, both were very good. Prices are good especially in this area.
