Dinner with my mom and brother this week was a different experience. Our server greeted us, brought our drinks, took our food order, and then never returned to our table. We had to ask other employees for refills, dessert information, and eventually our check. Nobody told us another server was taking over. My mom and brother later saw our original server sitting at the bar having a drink. After we left, we noticed her walking behind us while we were discussing the experience, which felt uncomfortable, although I don't know whether that was a coincidence. The food was still excellent, but the lack of service was disappointing and unusual compared with my previous visits. I'd return based on those experiences, but this visit deserved better.

I wanted matzoh ball soup but there was a $3 up charge for a cup. The soup should have been called chicken veggie with two noodles. Very disappointing. We opted to share an order of rice pudding and it was served in an ice cream sundae glass with whipped cream. Delish!
