I discovered the restaurant called, Artisan Eatery, and was delighted with the lunch I was served! I walked in and ordered their Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich with Miss Vickies Sea Salt Chips and a fountain diet pepsi. I was greeted nicely by a young lady and older gentleman. It was busy inside when I went there and took about 10 minutes to get my food. But worth the wait! Definitely one of the better chicken salad sandwiches in the area! Very tasty! Artisan daily special always changes to attract more customers. They use to have lobster roll but this time is not in menu. I got the cajun shrimp and grit which has andouille sausage in it. Quaint and welcoming decor, staff that is more than gracious. This is what you would expect in a dining experience not an order at the register experience. The food preparation as well as the food is carefully selected for freshness and creatively prepared and plated fresh to order deliciousness. Libations and delicious desserts are on the menu too, so save room. I highly suggest if you want quality food without the wait. Whatever you do don't look at the giant dessert case or you will want to order one of everything..And it's all homemade. Got me thinking, this would be a great place for dessert and coffee. Based going there on the correct yelp reviews! Visiting with my cousin traveled from WPB. Pretty easy to find. We shared a arugula salad, simple and so good with feta cheese, strawberries. The avocado toast was 2 slices and perfect to share. We both enjoyed the lunch. If I lived closer would definitely go back, seems like they have a good following. My girlfriend said it was the BEST shrimp and grits she ever had, not to spicy, just full of flavor. In fact she asked if it would look tacky if she licked the bowl. I had the big breakfast burrito and crispy fried potatoes. So big I could only eat half, so I will have a great lunch later. We visited a loved one at the Gulf Coast Hospital and were looking for a healthy lunch. Artesian Eatery was a perfect spot to land. All the ingredients are locally-sourced, and Chris made excellent recommendations: pork tacos (the pork is braised in-house), and Cheesesteak sandwich (which is served on a baguette and prepared by a Philly local). We started by sharing a plate of sweet potato fries, which was served with delicious maple aïoli. We will definitely be back next time we're in this neighborhood. read more

Quick review. We stopped for a quick bite after arriving at Ft Meyers Airport last Saturday. We got there at 11:00am and they were still serving breakfast but opted for the lunch menu. The restaurant wasn't busy but many diners came in after us and it was busy. The food was fresh, delicious and the service was quick. I was hoping that the restaurant lived up to the hype. Sadly, it was just ok to us. We were hoping for a sit down place. This is a walk up counter service restaurant which took us by surprise given their menu, but ok no big deal. Upon walking in, it reminded me of Panera with a cute bouquet creation area. That was a unique idea and I did see someone making a bouquet. We ordered pastrami hash which didn't have a true pastrami flavor which was disappointing. Im wondering if it was made in a crockpot and braised. Another in my party ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich which was just ok. The portions were large and filling which was good. There is a counter to sit at along with tables. The woman who was bringing orders and cleaning the tables didn't seem to like her job too much. She would only stop to talk to one or two tables if she felt like it which was somewhat off putting. It was an unfortunate visit since other reviews were good. This order at the counter restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a good selection of drinks and cocktails, along with homemade desserts. Fantastic! We came with a larger party and were greeted by Chris who accomodated us by pushing some tables together. Once we were all inside he explained the menu and the restaurant concept to us. He was so passionate about the restaurant and the entire menu. He went on to describe how each ingredient is locally sourced. I sat there with my mouth wide open. This restaurant is the type of order and pay at the counter and sit down for your food to be brought out. My husband and I opted for the truffle eggs benedict and chilled lobster roll. I started with a bloody mary as well. An order of donuts was also placed for the table. The bloody was delicious and had just the right kick. They also garnished it with home-made pickles and bleu cheese stuffed olives. The donuts were super warm, fluffy and coated in cinnamon sugar served as a variation of donut holes and whole donuts. I LOVE donuts and was very fond of theirs. Finally our mains. The truffle eggs benedict was great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollendaise was truffle infused, all atop some prosciutto and a buttery, flakey croissant *chef's kiss*. The lobster roll was a large portion and it tasted fresh and the buttered roll was the perfect complement. Honestly, as I write this review I wish I could sit down and enjoy this meal again. Clean eating comes to mind, it was tasty but without all the additional stuff that often gets put on to dress it up. I had the burger, and it was real tasty! Parm-Truffle fries were tasty, indulge! The wings were done perfectly to my liking, and the blackened Mahi Tacos were delicious as was the Wagyu burger, which was expertly cooked! They're one of the rare places where you can order a burger cooked medium and it actually comes to you medium. Add in the bacon jam and it's available winner every time. The cheesesteak has a great blend of meat and cheese with steak that is the right amount of tender and an ideal bread choice.
