We loved the pork belly 1st course, not fatty at all with a wonderful flavor. Three of us had the Rigatoni Alla Zozzna which was just spicy enough to really enjoy. FYI, all the noodles are made on site and Harold even has his own pastry chef. So our dessert course was a super rich chocolate concord cake which I loved. Our friends split a cheesecake, though they wanted key lime pie. Our friendly server Rachelle was super attentive and checked on us often. There are probably only 15 tables and the bar so reservations would be recommended, and I heard that it's a month wait for a table in season. (Not surprising.) Yes, Harold's may be pricey but it was worth every bite and I look forward to returning to try more of Harold's creations.

We may need to adjust our timing to avoid the mob and the noise. What a great problem for them to have and, important to note, they truly DO appreciate our business. One last tip: Ask about dessert. He brought the menus, but it was a long time before he returned. Drinks took over 20 minutes to come out. Bread came after the drinks, but with no plates or silverware, so we had to eat it with our hands. Not ideal. That said, the espresso martini was excellent--no complaints there. When the food came out, the presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh and well-executed. That part of the meal definitely hit the mark. But then it took just as long to get the check, and by that point, the waiting added up. One small but noticeable issue was the smell of the table and menus--it gave off that old rag scent, which pulled me out of the otherwise upscale experience. I think this place has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is great, the food is solid, and the concept is there.
