We stopped by Oak & Stoney while visiting, and honestly it turned into one of those meals where you keep saying "okay this is the last thing we're ordering"... and then order something else. First, the food was great. We tried the mushroom burger, the smash burger, and a quinoa bowl, and everything was really good. The burgers were flavorful and satisfying, and the quinoa bowl made us feel like we were making at least one responsible life choice that day. But the real star of the show was the self-serve beer tap wall. They give you a wristband, you tap it on the machine, and pour whatever beer you want. Then you just pay for exactly how much you pour. Which sounds responsible... until you realize you can try a little bit of everything. We ended up sampling several different beers because it was just too fun not to. Tons of variety, and everything we tried was excellent. The only suggestion I'd have: it would be amazing if there was a small tasting station so people could try. When there are that many options, choosing can feel like a very serious life decision. Overall though, great food, a really fun concept, and a cool atmosphere. 10/10 would absolutely come back... mostly to "responsibly" test more beers. read more

On the advice of the really nice man at the car rental, we stopped here after our flight. I wanted breakfast. He wanted lunch. Kids weren't very hungry. I got avocado eggs on everything biscuit. Outstanding! He ended up getting the breakfast burrito (last minute change of mind). Kids got a mini waffle and fruit bowls. Loved it! A great place to eat when no one knows what they want! I would like to thank Manager Dennis Owens and the entire staff at the Oak & Stone - Estero location for accommodating my birthday dinner last night. I had 15 friends who wanted to join me, and although Oak & Stone does not take reservations, they were willing to accommodate our large party with same-day notice for a 5:00 PM gathering. My wife and I frequent this location because of the consistently great food, excellent happy hour, and very friendly staff. Out of all the restaurants in Estero, I chose Oak & Stone for this celebration, and they absolutely delivered. Several of my friends had never been there before and are now hooked on both the food and the happy hour. My personal favorites are the Winger Pizza and the Pretzel Tuna Sashimi. As a local business owner, I can appreciate strong leadership when I see it. It is clear to me that Dennis is doing an outstanding job as General Manager. The staff appears happy and engaged, and their longevity is noticeable, I have seen many of the same team members since they first opened. I highly recommend this location. read more

We came here yesterday for my hubby's bday dinner! It's been on our list for so long! I'm disappointed we hadn't come sooner! They have happy hour Monday-Friday and the menu looks insanely good! I will be back. We started with the pretzels and egg rolls. Both were incredible! They have a self serve beer wall with all kinds of local brews from neighboring breweries. I tried a few IPAs and they were all so great! For entrees we had the griddle burger, grouper BLT, kids burger, and voodoo chicken sandwich. The food was hot, full of flavor, and hit the spot! This is the second time I've been here and I have to say that I am impressed. The food is great, the drinks are good the service is fantastic. If you come over try the wings and the pizza, my favorite are "Lemon Pepper wings" and "The Fun guy" pizza and I don't really mention too many side however the "Brussels Sprouts" are delicious. read more

I decided to go with the beer wall instead -- and as always, it's safe and never disappoints. The variety of beers on tap is impressive, and it's always fun to try something new. For my meal, I went with the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat, adding a nice kick without overwhelming the dish. Went on Friday, June 20, 2025 3pm I figured I don't like the one in St. Pete. Let's give Estero a try. Well things were going well when the drinks came out. Our apps (beware of steak rolls they are extremely hot and oil splashed out and burnt my lip.). To say the inside was good. But the outside was not edible since it was deep deep deep fried and too hot! The tuna app was delicious. When I asked our server regarding the Farmer & Pig. If it came in a white sauce or red sauce. He stated just oil. I said so they take the dough and just use oil and put the all accoutrements and he responded: yes oil, I don't have time for this! This left us stunned and dismayed. Now I want the check and leave. He took longer to come back to us. I do believe he heard me discussing this with a woman next to me. He said he was sorry, and thought we had a vibe and it was in fun. Yeah, No, that wasn't in fun. I will truly NEVER come to this Oak & Stone again! Not only does the food fail, so did the bartender. I am leaving the bartenders name off this. No point! The good part is friendly staff and some meals were good. Love the wall of tap beers. They explained how it worked and how to read about each beer with the QR code. The bad is that our farmer and pig pizzas were overdone, dry and not didn't have enough toppings. Dined here with family as the only out of towner. Loved the pour wall and the saying. Also, they have a halo hanging on the wall for another great photo opp. I ate off what the locals who know the menu ordered. Had a slice of All the Way (supreme) pizza, the Clucker (chicken) and The Fun Guy. I found the first two listed to be my favorite. The Fun Guy had LOTS of Italian seasoning that I found a bit overwhelming. Had something from the beer wall called Pineapple Hula...a cider with a tropical twist. Right in my wheelhouse of drinks. Great patio area to sit on with lots of TVs for sporting event enjoyment. I recommend it if you want a great relaxed night out for dinner. read more

My son's pepperoni pizza was burnt and dry like a cracker crust. We would've said something to waiter but he was no where to be found so he ate around the burnt parts. When it said thin crust, I didn't think it meant edible Post-It Note thin. I came in hungry, hopeful, and ready to be impressed. What I got was a culinary prank. This pizza..and I use the word pizza loosely, was so thin I'm pretty sure I could've read a newspaper through it. It was the lovechild of a cracker and a dream that never came true. Rock hard? Oh yes. I tapped the crust and half-expected it to echo. I've had coasters with more give. And the cheese? There was technically some on there, but it was like the pizza had passed by a block of cheese at high speed and caught a whiff. One sad little sprinkle, more decorative than edible. Biting into it felt like a personal attack on my dental insurance. I'm not saying this pizza was bad, but if I ever wanted to train for a jawline of steel, I'd just order another one. Would I recommend? Only if you hate someone and want to gift them a disappointment disguised as dinner. I deserve an apology and a refund. read more

We had a great experience!!! We got here at 2:00 and found out that happy hour started and we got the El Chapo Margaritas and the Lavender Lemonade, absolutely delicious! Wonderful service by Kaitlin, excellent food, and nice atmosphere. We popped in for an early birthday dinner around 3-4 PM. We had not been here before and the staff were very helpful in advising on the process to use the beer wall. They have impossible burgers, and pizza was delicious. Great selection of beers, ciders, drinks, and food. Pretzels were also great and they accommodated a half nonsalted request. My friends and I had an amazing experience at Oak and Stone in Estero last week when they were home for the holidays. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I've been a frequent customer for the delicious pizza and drinks. This is a go to place for a casual night out. The unique part of the restaurant is their layout. They have plenty of tables and can open or close the patio depending on weather. Their bathroom is also extremely nice. Plenty of space and stalls. read more

Off they went to choose beers to try. I ordered the lunch special, an individual pizza, side salad and drink. I chose the Caesar and the pizza of the day was Caprese. A perfect size little pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Delicious. The Caesar salad was fresh and crispy with just enough dressing. Shaves of Parmesan completed it. My husband ordered their house salad with grilled chicken added. Most house salads are basic. This one was not. It included strawberries with mixed greens, radish and cucumbers. A refreshing citrus vinaigrette dressed is perfectly. Topped with the grilled chicken it made a great midday meal. Stopped in for a quick lunch and much to our delight / surprise there are 16 different taps to choose from. How it works...you give them a credit card. They swipe it and they issue you a card, sort of like a credit card You go over to the tap area. 16 different taps, 3 in each cluster with a pad you tap with your card. You the. Select your beverage and it allows you to pour a 3, 5 and 8 ounce pour. It charges by the ounce and keeps track of how many ounces you've taken. So cool. The place is spacious and clean. Good place to take big group of friends. The wait staff was super helpful and friendly. The food is so good! We got some fries for an appetizer and a pizza for lunch. Pizza was great.
