PHILLY CHEESESTEAK EGGROLLS
Hannah G.

We came here yesterday for my hubby's bday dinner! It's been on our list for so long! I'm disappointed we hadn't come sooner! They have happy hour Monday-Friday and the menu looks insanely good! I will be back. We started with the pretzels and egg rolls. Both were incredible! They have a self serve beer wall with all kinds of local brews from neighboring breweries. I tried a few IPAs and they were all so great! For entrees we had the griddle burger, grouper BLT, kids burger, and voodoo chicken sandwich. The food was hot, full of flavor, and hit the spot! The staff was friendly, attentive, and we were well taken care of. I'd definitely recommend for anyone to try this place out!

CHICK 'N WAFFLES

We went to Oak and Stone for brunch, and it was a great experience overall. Unfortunately, they were out of the ingredients for the cocktail i wanted to try. I decided to go with the beer wall instead -- and as always, it's safe and never disappoints. The variety of beers on tap is impressive, and it's always fun to try something new. For my meal, I went with the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat, adding a nice kick without overwhelming the dish. The waffles were light and fluffy, making it the ideal balance with the crispy chicken. Overall, the flavors and textures came together really well, and it was a great brunch dish.

I just had one of the best salads I have had in a long time. My grandson had this huge burger and my GF had a giant order of crispy Brussel sprouts. the food was terrific.

Pouring our beers

The good part is friendly staff and some meals were good. Love the wall of tap beers. They explained how it worked and how to read about each beer with the QR code. The bad is that our farmer and pig pizzas were overdone, dry and not didn't have enough toppings. The server offered to remake it, but it would take too long while everyone else ate their food.

Dined here with family as the only out of towner. Loved the pour wall and the saying. Also, they have a halo hanging on the wall for another great photo opp. I ate off what the locals who know the menu ordered. Had a slice of All the Way (supreme) pizza, the Clucker (chicken) and The Fun Guy. I found the first two listed to be my favorite. The Fun Guy had LOTS of Italian seasoning that I found a bit overwhelming. Had something from the beer wall called Pineapple Hula...a cider with a tropical twist. Right in my wheelhouse of drinks. Great patio area to sit on with lots of TVs for sporting event enjoyment. I recommend it if you want a great relaxed night out for dinner.

Farmer and the pig

First time here and I am can't recommend this place enough. The farmer and pig pizza was amazing. The Service at the bar was top notch with Kylie and Paige. Will be back

We wanted to like this place but the food fell flat for us. The wings were soggy and the pizza was just ok. Too thin and greasy Nothing we would come back for. My son's pepperoni pizza was burnt and dry like a cracker crust. We would've said something to waiter but he was no where to be found so he ate around the burnt parts. Something is off with ambiance but I can't put my finger on it. Too much Lighting, cheap materials...not sure but I was a miss.

Mid-scale chain for pizza (stone) and a drink (oak) while watching sports. There's also music on. Hubby says they didn't mess up his pepperoni pizza. I had the poke bowl and a nice pineapple mule. We're not beer drinkers, so we didn't avail ourselves of the self-pour wall of taps. Gender-segregated restrooms were clean and staff were helpful.

When it said thin crust, I didn't think it meant edible Post-It Note thin. I came in hungry, hopeful, and ready to be impressed. What I got was a culinary prank. This pizza..and I use the word pizza loosely, was so thin I'm pretty sure I could've read a newspaper through it. It was the lovechild of a cracker and a dream that never came true. Rock hard? Oh yes. I tapped the crust and half-expected it to echo. I've had coasters with more give. And the cheese? There was technically some on there, but it was like the pizza had passed by a block of cheese at high speed and caught a whiff. One sad little sprinkle, more decorative than edible. Biting into it felt like a personal attack on my dental insurance. I'm not saying this pizza was bad, but if I ever wanted to train for a jawline of steel, I'd just order another one. Would I recommend? Only if you hate someone and want to gift them a disappointment disguised as dinner. I deserve an apology and a refund.

Service: Hostess seemed inconvenienced that we wanted to sit at a booth instead of a high top - mind you, the restaurant was practically empty. Then, our waitress was quite slow and had to be asked multiple times when we needed something. Now for the food... Water: Sure, free ice water isn't gonna taste amazing, but this tasted like dirty sink water Fries: Tasted freezer burnt Burger: Clearly frozen, bad beef taste, terrible texture, and no seasoning Bistecca Flatbread: Horrible, meat again was clearly frozen - as were the soggy peppers, the beef was unseasoned and tasted foul My fiancè and I felt unwell after dining here. Erica is a top notch server who takes the time to remember her patrons and what they drink. Ethan has a signature coconut mojito that my husband (who hates coconut and i who hate mojitos) were able to agree was incredible and worth drinking again. The steak flat bread, coconut shrimp, and Keylime pie are always spot on. The corn dip must also be awesome cause I hear everyone ordering it all the time. If you can sit at the bar, you get to enjoy the staffs incredible interaction with each other. It genuinely looks like they all enjoy working here which speaks volumes to the management. Mike is non stop bustling in the kitchen to push out the great food in a timely fashion as his bar staff positively greet patrons and keep the ambiance fun and entertaining. Happy hour is 3-5. It is self seating and I highly encourage you get a table while someone stands in line to order food which will be delivered to you. There is also often live music. I placed an online pickup order through the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar website at 12:32 PM using their…read morepreferred ordering platform, ChowNow. The order was prepaid and included a 20% gratuity. After parking and walking to the restaurant, I received a text message at 12:47 PM stating that my order had been canceled and refunded because the restaurant could not make the order. Assuming this must have been an error, I still went inside and waited in line to explain what had happened. When I reached the counter and calmly explained the situation, several staff members immediately chimed in saying things like "I was watching and no orders came through." At that point it became clear that the order likely had not been acknowledged on their end and was automatically canceled after 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the order had been placed directly through the restaurant's own website and had already been prepaid with gratuity, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation by making the order. Instead, the staff member at the register told me that "ChowNow always doesn't work" and that I should have called the restaurant instead. That response was surprising considering the order was placed through their official website, which directs customers to use that exact system. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to step out of line. When the manager arrived, the interaction unfortunately got worse. Before I could finish explaining the situation, he interrupted with "Are you going to let me talk now?" and proceeded to repeat that none of this was the restaurant's fault. There was still no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation by simply preparing the order that had already been placed. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that this location has been one I've visited many times over the years. Mistakes happen in any business, and an online ordering system failure is understandable. What is not understandable is the complete lack of basic customer service and the unwillingness of management to take ownership of the problem or attempt to fix it. A simple apology and an offer to make the order would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, the response from both staff and management was dismissive and defensive. Unfortunately, that interaction has turned what had been a frequently visited restaurant into one I will not be returning to.

Backyard Social fit this description, and with plenty of parking and plenty of seating, it worked out perfectly. There's not really a place like this in Tampa - it is a bunch of food trucks inside that you order your food from, and they give you a buzzer to come get it when it's ready. Meanwhile, they have a server who comes over just to get your drink order. We only saw her right when we sat down; the rest of the time we had to go to the bar to get refills. I think that people just ordering sodas are not the priority, since the servers won't make much in tips that way. My friend and I both ordered from the Greek place, Gyros 2 Go, and we both enjoyed our dishes. I had the falafel platter, add tomatoes, which also came with tzatziki sauce, hummus, feta cheese and pita bread. Food was ready very quickly, and came served in a Styrofoam to-go container. This place seems to be a fun, casual hangout, with plenty of televisions, and games to play both inside and out.
