-- A Rooftop Gem Where You Feel Like Family…read more I'll be upfront -- I have social anxiety, and crowds can be genuinely overwhelming for me. My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

Our server was very nice and conversational, however, I think she might have a habit for forgetting to do something unless she does it right away. Before finishing explaining the sauces with the shrimp crudite, we asked a question and she immediately went to go grab another dip and didn't finish explaining the sauces. I was disappointed in the bananas foster waffles. it said there was banana caramel, and then as a separate item, it said peanut butter maple. I asked probably 2 or 3 different times where the peanut butter maple was as i had gotten my toppings on the side after seeing an order that was drenched go past my table. the first answer i received was that it was the sauce i had in front of me. it was not. it was the caramel. the next time i asked, i was told that the peanut butter and caramel are the same sauce. again, no peanut butter flavor in the sauce. the peanut butter was the thing i was looking forward to the most on the waffle, and by the time she offered to just bring me peanut butter i was almost done with it. i will say that it is a very dense waffle and difficult to cut. i'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but i had to use some force to cut into what i thought was going to be a fluffy waffle. we had empty water glasses on our table for quite some time with multiple people passing before being refilled. it wasn't until more people cleared out that we were able to get more water. the cinnamon roll thing: a very nice gesture from the restaurant for birthdays. the cinnamon toast crunch on the outside was nice and crunchy, the caramel gelato between layers was smooth, but the roll itself is a different story. like the waffle, it was dense. not sure if that's because it's served cold but we will chalk it up to that, but the cream cheese frosting has chili and paprika in it! so while we were eating it, all of our throats starting to have a spicy burny feeling in the back. imagine red hots candy for flavor profile. we didn't find out until asking that it has the extra spice in it. just something to note, it might need to be added to server explanation that there is the added spicy element, as there are a lot of people who do not enjoy spicy foods. I stand by my previous reviews that Tigress is strictly a drinks and app place.

How about some lettuce, pickles, tomato and onion to complete the burger, along with the usual condiments. The wine and beer list is very limited. We were hoping for a better variety and selection. The restaurant is really nice inside, though I could do without the TV's everywhere, and how about playing some music, to liven the atmosphere up. We were seated in a nice booth, but they made these for patrons 7' tall. I am 6' tall, and my feet were off the ground. This made the seating uncomfortable. Service was passable, but the waitress disappeared and had a grating sharp voice and talked way too loud. The restaurant scene in Ft Meyers and Cape Coral is simply abysmal. We love dining out, but these days, we choose more often to eat at home for a better quality of food, drink and experience.

We gathered there after my dad's funeral -- a day filled with emotion, memories, and the kind of silence that only family understands. Sitting by the river, watching the water move while the sun softened across the sky, felt like a gentle reminder that life keeps flowing even when our hearts feel heavy. The food was genuinely excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and served in a way that let us relax instead of rush. But what made the experience stand out was the atmosphere. Open views, a calm waterfront breeze, and a space that allowed laughter, reflection, and connection all at the same table. Sometimes you don't just choose a restaurant -- you choose a moment. And this place gave us a peaceful one when we needed it most. If you're looking for a riverside spot in Fort Myers where good food meets meaningful atmosphere, Oxbow Bar & Grill is worth the visit. For us, it wasn't just a meal... it became part of a memory. -- OnDaRoof

Food and location look beautiful but there's clearly no adults in charge that can act in a professional manner. Sad with such a good location . This must be why they seem to never be very busy. Luckily for our 1st and 3rd time eating at Firestone we had a great waiter Joe he provided great service both visits. He must be their premier staffer because he had almost the entire first floor and outside space and although super busy was very friendly plus competent, he made no errors! Unlike our 2nd visit where everything was wrong, food, drinks and no bread brought to the table that waiter whose name I can't remember (we were seated on the 2nd floor) was not attentive also it took forever to find him to tell him about the issues so he could try to correct the issues. I wish the front of the room hostesses were a bit nicer but alas they are not. Not any of our visits this is surprising as all they are needed to do is check reservations. Why 3 women are needed is up to management. We will be back to Firestone but we hope management rewards those that should be rewarded and not keep so many useless employees
