The Bamboo Wok on Collier Blvd in Naples Florida is one of the better Chinese Food Restaurants. The food is fresh and very tasty. The Dumplings and General Tao Chicken were awesome. The owners and staff of the restaurant very nice always accommodating. The parking is good as the restaurant is located in a large shopping center. read more

Kung pao beef was amazing. Thinly sliced and oh so tender. Just a tad bit weak on the spicy side. Fair amount of food. Enough for dinner the next night. Service was very good. They have all your staples... the orange chicken, the beef and broccoli, that General Tso's! They have all the accompaniments... the egg rolls, the duck sauce, them fortune cookies! They have everything you're looking for in a good Chinese spot that hits the spot. Food is ready fast. We usually call our order in and carry out. Service is great. It's no nonsense, what do you want, they make it for you. I'd give this place no stars if I could. Not only awful Chinese food but awful food in general. The fried rice was stale and I guess they forgot to put the pork in this day. Lots of peas and carrots tho. The egg rolls were oil soaked sticks of mush. Spit out the one bite I took. The chicken and broccoli was like rubber doused in pepper. Wasn't a tablespoon of sauce in the entire container. I spent $25 to learn my lesson never to go back again. Do yourself a favor and skip this dump. read more

Ordered for the first time today. We had honey chicken and beef and mixed vegetable combos. There was a LOT of food!! Crab wontons were cooked perfectly (light and thin) and the wonton soup is delicious. I'm sorry we haven't ordered from there sooner after living here for 2 years. read more

We ordered takeout from Bamboo Wok two days after Hurricane Ian struck. It was one of very few places that were open. We had no idea what to expect. We ordered three dinners and all were very good (General Tso's chicken, Cashew chicken, and Szechuan mixed vegetables). The order was ready in 10 minutes. The couple who owns it is very friendly. A nice option is that they offer most of their meals in a small or large size. Everything was piping hot and very tasty. This is primarily a take-out type place. There are a couple of tables...but the "feel" is take out. I don't think they have an online menu. I just called and asked if they had the meals that I wanted, and they did. I brought a paper menu home with me. Nothing fancy here..just basic and good!! read more

A few years ago we would stop here on the way out to Everglades or other points east. That was before all the build up just south of the place. But we remembered it was a good place to get Chinese with good quantities and prices. Well the prices are still good, but the quantities are down from what we remember, more like everyone elses. We both had lunch combinations. My wife had Sesame Chicken, which she liked. I had Pork Egg Foo Yung, which was OK, but nothing special. This is your typical Chinese take-out place. We ordered dinner from here last night. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt t with 3 stars because I love Chinese food. We enjoyed our food.... mostly. The wonton soup is pretty good, the white rice is surprisingly better than most other places. Others in my party enjoyed egg rolls and the chicken soup. My Mongolian Beef was the culprit: the sauce was delicious and the onions were good, but the beef was questionable; it was more like Alpo, very soft and fatty and never a cut of beef that I would cook with. If I ordered again, I wouldn't choose any beef items but would gladly go with a soup or some fried rice. read more

We have tenaciously avoided Bamboo Wok due to negative reviews. In our quest for decent Chinese food we have ventured out to Golden Gate and tried the 5 star reviewed Chinese take-out restaurant, but only rate it 2 1/2 stars max. We have driven 20 miles round trip to Marco Island for decent Chinese food and rate it 4 stars, but the 40 minute round trip commute was exhausting especially in-season. Finally, we have occasioned PF Chang's in N.Naples which is good, but overpriced. My wife and I finally decided to give Bamboo Wok a try for lunch. A customer placed a large take-out order before us so we waited and listened to the chef work and bang the wok along with occasional hisses as he added liquid to the mixture. It was music our ears since most Chinese restaurants simply scoop out already cooked ingredients from warming pans. Our food arrived hot, ample and without a lot of bulk vegetable. My orange chicken was moist, tender and delicious and the white rice was perfectly cooked. My wife gave high reviews to her shrimp with garlic sauce and pork fried rice. If you are looking for PF Chang ambiance this is not your place. If you are looking for white tablecloths this is not your place. But, if your are looking for really good Chinese food without a lot of frills this is definitely your place. The chef and the order taker were both young, pleasant and courteous...perhaps they are new owners. Anyway, we are looking forward to our next visit. read more

Don't bother...I ordered the General Tso chicken. The chicken was full knuckles (hard pieces that I don't think we're original parts of the chicken) and tasted like fish! They must fry everything in the same oil. The spring roll had the same fishy taste and I'm pretty sure it was "supposed" to be veggie. Wasn't expecting greatness, having little recent success with take out Chinese-style cuisine in E Naples, but other reviews were good, especially one mentioning actual wok cooking evidence. Very pleased with the quality of our food! I enjoyed both dinner and next-day lunch with the Shrimp Szechuan. Lots of PERFECTLY cooked large shrimp and vegetables (green pepper wedges, matchstick red peppers, (Napa?) cabbage shreds and bean sprouts+) in a lightly thickened sauce. I added Sriracha, but better that than too hot/spicy. Husband had 2 meals from his Chicken with Cashews. Generous amounts of toasted cashew crunch and evenly sized chicken pieces with numerous vegetables. Sign of good chef/prep chef skills for wok cooking - ingredients of similar size for even cooking and eating enjoyment. Also good sauce. Not gelatinous brown sludge. Tasty Vietnamese-style cigar size vege Spring Rolls (crispy fried, not rice paper rolls) and steamed Pork Dumplings were good too. Seems to have gone down hill. Customer service is horrible. Often times the women running the cash register is preparing the food without washing her hands. The place is very dirty; tables left uncleaned, bathroom filthy (which is shared by the staff). I have been a repeat customer for 2 solid years and they never acknowledge me. Most of the time they are aloof to any business I give. Won't be returning anymore especially since there are so many better establishments in Naples that want my business. read more
