The soup special was a truly outstanding walnut pesto sweet potato soup, which I subbed as a side. I tried the soup first, and was blown away, certain that nothing could be more spectacular. Then I tried my Grilled Ruuuben. Oh. Holy smokes. This thing is magical. I've tried quite a few vegan Reubens in my day, and Off the Wagon has the best - hands down. Something about the combination of house-made seitan, grilled onions, sauerkraut, melty cheese, and dressing transforms this sandwich into pure heaven. My dining companions enjoyed their choices which included the burger (substituting the chicken patty for the Beyond patty) and the Tofurky Club.
