Excellent pizza. Highly recommend. It's a local mom and pop shop, veteran owned- I will always support these companies

There are several reasons I don't typically order/go out for pizza, including my preference for plant based nutrition (aka no cheese/meat), cost-quality conflict, and truly preferring to make my own at home. Itza Pizza is my exception. This is a small, family-owned, take out (not dine-in) pizza place that specializes, I'm pretty sure, in magic. I ordered a custom pizza with vegan cheese, garlic, mushrooms, pineapple, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and IT WAS AMAZING. Mind. Blown. The flavors (crust, sauce, vegan cheese, toppings) were spot on, and it just looked pretty. My dining companions enjoyed their veggie pizzas (also customized with a variety of toppings). The staff is welcoming, helpful, and accommodating to requests, and the pizza is 100% worth it. I can see why folks keep coming back, again and again. read more

It's my first time in Crescent City, and I really wanted to try this place because it had such great reviews and the pizza looked amazing in the photos. I spent over 35 minutes attempting to call to place my order since they only accept orders via phone but kept getting their voicemail during business hours. After all that, a new voicemail is added after my 5th attempt saying they ran out of inventory and would reopen fours days from now. Such a waste of time and not great business practices. read more

We just tried this restaurant for the first time and boy are we glad we did. It's owned by a veteran and he definitely knows what he's doing. He bakes the pizza in an oven he built himself. We ordered a Caprese and the chicken veggie. Both were outstanding. The crust is reminiscent of what we had in Italy. He uses 00 flour, which is the standard for pizza in Italy. We have now found our go to pizza place. We will definitely be back. My only regret is we didn't try this place sooner. read more

Great food and great people. My favorites are the Tsunami pizza, and the Buffalo Bacon Wings, but you will love anything you try!

Great pizza! They have premade slices ready for $4 which are 1/4 of a medium-ish size pizza. Two slices made a nice $8 lunch.

Absolutely great pizza! Amazing that they can create such good pizza in a food truck. I'm from NY and have lived in CA for many years. It's so hard to find good pizza out here! 99% of the pizzas are drenched in cheese so you can't hardly taste the sauce which is my favorite part. Itza Pizza gets it right and their crust and sauce were wonderful. I wish they were in San Jose! I'd be eating there all the time. I went to look for them where they normally park and they weren't there. I checked their website and discovered they were at a festival in downtown Crescent City so we tracked them down there. I'm so glad I found them! It was great they posted where they were on their website. We would have missed out otherwise. The woman I ordered from was so nice! Service was great. Holy cats! Love this pizza. I plan to eat here every day that they're open and try new ones each time. The pepperoni is my favorite. The crust is perfect and the sauce is great. Today I tried the garlic, mushroom, sausage with alfredo sauce as a base. Oh, so tasty. Itza is better than Zolas in my opinion and I plan to give them all my business whenever in town. Best pizza and best service. We were on a road trip with grumpy kids and stopped here for one of the best pizzas. The lady who served us was the kindest and friendliest- even had pizza stickers for the kids! Took the pizza to a beautiful nearby park and so glad we avoided a restaurant!
