    Drunken noodles

In Crescent City on vacation and decided to try this spot on our first night. Coming from the bay area, I was worried we wouldn't enjoy Thai as much. However, Kin Khao proved me wrong! The food was delicious. We ordered takeout at the restaurant and got drunken noodles, basil fried rice and spicy garlic chicken. All of these were at a spice level 3 thinking it'd be medium but it was mild and we def could have gotten spice level 5. For the food itself: drunken noodles were yummy, had a lot of chicken but it was slightly sweet. Basil fried rice had a lot of flavor, was a good portion size and I did prefer it to the noodles. The garlic chicken came with rice and was also very flavorful and crispy. Since we ordered takeout, they were kind enough to give us utensils and disposable bowls. Very friendly folks here and wish we could have stayed at the restaurant as it was very nice inside!

Absolutely DELICIOUS Thai food!!!! Top 3 best Thai food I've ever had. We could not stop saying "mmm" and "wow this is delicious". We got the Thai fried rice and the Tom Yum noodle. Absolutely must try spot

Always fabulous tasting, immediately cooked and served, very delicious Thai dishes with slightly different flavors and textures than traditional Thai dishes are so readily available in this truly magnificent restaurant that I have to give Five Michelin Worthy Stars. We had eggplant tofu stir fry and calamari dish! We had never had either in the past. The amount of foods and flavors were outstanding. We took both of them leftovers home for future dinner and also had a wonderful sweet Sake. I'm sure that you will find this restaurant to be different from any other restaurant in this city. It should be ranked higher than what people give credit for. Only if they had more dishes that had no sugar and less sweetness.

The food is good, the servers seem like they are Thai and they are so friendly. They make you feel welcomed for sure, I like their bacon specially the most.

Stopped through here on our trip through the Oregon Coast. Service was prompt and attentive up until their lunch closing time. At 3pm most of the staff had left, though they made sure to have us check out before then and assured us we could take our time to eat. They pointed to where we could get to go containers for any leftovers as it would be self serve. We did awkwardly have to find someone though because we didn't know where the to-go cups were for our Thai tea. Beef salad - Bright colors and the beef was tender. Tom Kha - Tasted average but there was way more protein than soup. Felt like there could have been more balance. Tom Yum Noodles - Very delicious as flavorful. It was a nice take on the soup with the noodles. My only complaint was that the crispy wonton(?) was kind of stale.

Crispy basil duck..... ummm half eaten, I couldn't wait.

OmG! I saw this l place out corner of my eye as I drove by! The name caught my attention, literally means "eat rice" but generally a meal. Almost home in the way it even has a bar!!! Service is good and try the crispy basil duck.... It's their special for the time but heavens the portion.... So much duck and yummy.

5 stars Papaya Salad - bright, sweet, refreshing - pairs well with Basil Fried Rice

Excellent Thai food, go-to in Crescent City! I almost never like fried rice, but every grain of Basil Fried Rice was delicious (level 3 out of 5 spicy). Usually fried rice is 80% rice, but this was generous with 60% tofu, veggies, and basil. Cold, bright Papaya Salad balanced the spicy fried rice perfectly. Nice ambience and service. If we were local, we would be regulars. :)

the food here has always been great. The limited parking can be a problem, it has caused me to go else where a couple time.

Vegetables were tender crisp and eggs were scrambled in as they should be. Chicken was mostly tender. Chef cashier did not ask me what spice level I desired, so it was unspiced. I would preferred a mild to medium, but they were closed by then so I couldn't ask for more seasonings. I ate some on the picnic tables outside and then took the rest back to my husband at the hotel. Turns out the mild was just the ticket for a queasy tummy, so win win.

Have had some decent meals here at times over the years, they are capable of making good food. But…read moreit's very hit or miss, mostly miss, and they've missed bad enough time after time that I finally won't be back. This was the final straw. Most recently we ordered the Thai fried rice and chicken satay, on Thursday December 4, 2025. It went into the trash. Smelled bad, tasted very un fresh. The chicken skewers clearly weren't cooked fresh, they were dry and stale and disgusting. Like reheated leftovers from days ago. I'm insulted that they even thought they could get away with serving food of that quality. Flat out disgusting. The fried rice smelled awful, the eggs in it tasted noticeably un fresh. Only took 2 bites before I tossed it. To make it worse, before I realized how unfresh the food was, my 2 year old daughter ate a single bite...and now she's sick and still throwing up 2 days later. Which is the final straw in why I will never eat here again, and will tell others to avoid it as well. Im very upset with this business and whoever is running that kitchen. Might go have a word with them in person to put a face with this review. Should go without saying, but don't serve people stale, nasty leftovers at a restaurant. Everything should be made fresh to order at that cost. I hate giving bad reviews to family businesses, but somebody needs to bring this to their attention. What they're doing over there is unacceptable.
