$55 for a 13 course omakase on a no tipping policy. This was indeed a delightful experience and well worth the money in NYC. Very fresh fish and also not lacking premium cuts like otoro, wagyu, foie gras and uni (on a shrimp). Particularly the salmon foie gras is a great combination with lots of flavorful fattiness. The entire meal lasts less than 1 hour so you may feel a bit rushed, but to me it is an acceptable pace and if that's what it takes to keep the price tag low i'm all for it (and give you time back for maybe a drink afterwards). Much better than other "omakase" at similar low price points i had in other places, definitely recommended!

This has to be one of the most affordable omakase spots in NYC! It's $55 for 13-courses and they're a no tipping establishment. In this economy, this is such a STEAL. I loved all the pieces and they even give you a complimentary treat at the end if you're celebrating something special. Make a reservation in advance on Resy. This is one of my favorite spots for sushi in NYC and I would definitely come back!

Great quality and variety for an omakase, my only complaint would be that the whole experience is very rushed and you feel it. They have seatings every hour so they move things along quickly. We were done 40 min after the hour and they only let us stay a bit longer since we had gotten a bottle of soju and we were still finishing. They give you a menu where you can see what you're tasting, but they have two courses that are daily selections. For us those were sea bass topped with yuzu and onion and a tuna hand roll. The sable fish, yellowtail and scallop were my top bites. In general I liked that they give smaller rice portions so you can really taste the fish and it was well seasoned. They do torch a lot of their fish where I probably could have done with that for just a couple being torched. Overall a great deal, especially since they don't do tipping. Worth a try.

Amazingly priced and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the preset omakase and the quality of the fish was so fresh. The fish to rice ratio was amazing and I really enjoyed everything I ate. The choices of sake were amazing as well and I overall enjoyed my experience here.

Mojo offers a sushi Omakase for $55 and has a no tipping policy making it one of the most affordable in the city. After walking in we were seated at the table in the back. There were two sections to the table that held a maximum of four people each. Before starting the sushi experience you could order any beverages. My friends and I shared a Yuzu sake that was refreshing and perfect to pair with the fish. It was a pleasure to watch the chef skillfully prepare the sushi right in front of you and have it seconds after it was created. One of the things done here is a sprinkling of gold dust over one of the pieces that is good for a visual effect. A couple of items were seared which incorporated a charred element to contrast with the raw fish. The entire experience is worth the price. They run a daily giveaway on Instagram so be sure to enter for a chance to go for free.

First off best valued omakase I have ever had! 13 courses (I forgot the a picture of the last course of a tuna hand roll) for $55 and it being a no tipping establishment. But the value doesn't mean low quality at all. All the fish were very high quality. Though I do want to note many of the 13 courses were torched which there is nothing wrong with that. Just sometime I feel like it takes away from tasting the fish. But with that said everything was delicious. We got reservations at the chef's table and we were able to interact with out sushi chef. Everyone was super friendly. Everything was clean and well ordered. Though since they have alot of reservations the pacing of the courses were pretty fast. Overall highly recommend. Definitely get a reservation. Will come back for sure when I'm back in NYC

After trying a lot of omakase places, this is one of my top choices!! The flavors are so good and the fish is tender and buttery, just the perfect combinations. My favorite piece was the salmon with foie gras, but a close second was the sable fish. The chef was great and the service super attentive. 13 courses for $55 and no tipping policy! Great price for the quality of the food. Make sure to make reservations if you want to seat at the chef's counter (which I think it's a much better experience while having omakase). Definitely a must try!!

One of the best omakase experiences that was affordable. The service was nice and all the food was delicious. The first booking is a late lunch but still worth it imo. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in nyc!

Very decent omakase place for its price ($55 and no tip). Was able to impress a friend visiting nyc with the fact that cheap omakase exists and is also good. After having so many of these it wasn't as mindblowing to me but would definitely come again just bc it was so affordable. 1 hour time limit that they fit the courses into very well but also didn't feel rushed at all. Inside was very casual with plenty of seats, my friend like how it was not too overwhelming!

Sitting at the counter lets you watch the chefs prepare each piece right in front of you, which adds to the experience. The fish was fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely balanced. Favorites were the Salmon-Foie Gras, Hotate, Orata, and Chu-Toro. The only downside was that service felt a little rushed. The chefs on each side worked at different speeds, so some guests were moving through courses much faster than others. It almost felt like fast-food omakase at times instead of a more relaxed dining experience. Overall, the food was very good and worth trying, especially if you're looking for a reasonably priced omakase-style meal in NYC. Just be prepared for a quicker pace than a traditional omakase experience.

$55 no tip omakase is worth every penny. They are very efficient with seating and it was fairly easy to make a reservation. Pacing was excellent although I was too busy enjoying the fish to take pictures of everything. I left extremely satisfied and think the portions were perfect. The standouts for me were the fatty tuna, sea bream, wagyu, and salmon with foie gras.

One of the most affordable omakase in NYC. $55 for 13 course and they have a no tipping policy. Staff were very efficient. They kept the waters filled, the ginger replenished and made reasonably accommodations for me. It is not a " private" omakase. There are multiple chefs servicing different parties all at the same counter. Reservations strongly recommended. Favorite pieces included: the Sable fish, eel, salmon foie Gras, as well as the tuna pieces. You have the option to add on extras at the end of the omakase and it was priced well. I added on a sable fish, 2 eel & 1 Sapporo. My final Total was less than $100

Great omakase experience overall. Recommend getting seating at the bar if you have a small party as it just makes the experience nicer. Highlight has to be the salmon foie gras. The cook makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable as well.

Is there an option just for someone who only eat cooked fish, my fiend can't eat raw and we like to try this place out? Thanks you

Omakase is not for your friend unfortunately. It's majority raw fish.

They are fairly strict with their dining time period as it is busy. Be sure to book a reservation. Their menu is fairly large with plenty of appetizers as well as hot and cold udon options (note: this is a udon spot, not ramen). I got their kanimaze (cold) and their tantan (hot) and both were delicious. The kanimaze was refreshing and full of flavor. And the tantan was rich, comforting, and warm. Their shrimp tempura and agedashi were also great. Lightly fried and not too greasy. Would love to come back to try their other options.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that they expanded into the adjacent storefront. Now there's 4-5 booths and a bar table. The annex matches the interior design of their Soho and Midtown location and feels clean and spacious. Service was a bit slow from the hostess to the server. We ordered: small chicken tatsuta-age, niku udon, kamonan udon, assorted mushroom udon, green tea tiramisu, souffle fruit roll, soba pudding. Appreciate how big the chunks of meat are used for fried chicken. The exterior was a bit overfried but the interior stayed Broth and udon aligns with their Soho location which makes me more willing to come to this location moving forward. The assorted mushroom is seasonal. It's a nice lighter cleaner option but at the same time the mushrooms don't add much flavor. Kamonan is the duck which I chose because duck is a less common meat option around. I felt that the duck was a bit tough and bland yet also added too much oil into the clean broth (relatively to me). Niku is an OG but I haven't had it in a while. This time I was surprised how the marinate is light resulting in stronger meat flavor. I wish it would be more tender but it's alright. Desserts were more disappointing to me. I used to go to Patisserie Fouet frequently before they shut down the Union Square location. Green tea tiramisu had strong matcha soaks but I found the overall dessert to be a bit bland. The soaked sponge was a bit too wet too. Souffle fruit roll was huge, better to share with others especially after already eating savory food beforehand. I think it's intentional for the cake to be so dense. It came out really smooth but way too dense to feel like a dessert. I think I would eat this as breakfast instead. The raspberry sauce's tartness and punchiness is much needed otherwise I don't know if I can finish it. Soba pudding is my usual favorite and it stands up to the test of time. Still super smooth and with wheaty depth.

But at last, as I searched on DoorDash I stumbled upon this glorious restaurant they call Izakaya Fuku. I was drawn to the adorable names for their sushi roll dishes like "Strawberry Fields" and their Italian Japanese fusion pasta dishes, "Creamy Mentaiko Bacon Pasta" with creamy mayonnaise, spicy cod roe and bacon like are you kidding me? It's a bummer I wasn't more hunger or that I didn't have more bucks in my wallet because I wanted all these dishes. And the Chirashi Don, god it looks so beautiful the way that it's arranged in the photos online. I finally decided on the carbonara. And I was drawn to the fact that it was udon based. Now, I've just been living in hawaii these past years so that Japanese twist on an Italian dish that I just love oh so much really brought me back to missing the islands and the Asian spins they had on cuisines. By the looks of the picture the restaurant looks lovely, I'd love to stop there and try it in person. Thank you. Thank you! My belly and my heart are very much satisfied.

Summer soupless ramen with perfectly chewy noodles and slightly spicy sauce is a great addition. The vegan ban ban kinoko as well as its chicken version are great also during summer.
