I went to Mojito with my boyfriend on a week night to check it out. The space is small but the owners made it charming with bright colors, Cuban music, and instruments throughout. We were excited to see that they had fresh fruit batidos (sort of like a smoothie) on their menu. We ordered guava and it was great! Next we tried the Tortilla Espanola and the Ceviche Mojito. The tortilla was sort of like a thicker frittata and while it was good it didn't knock my socks off. The ceviche, on the other hand, was fantastic. The flavors were nicely balanced and and the sauce on the tostinos was delicious. We finished with the Lechon Asado or pulled pork. The texture was great but the flavor was average. I was expecting a bit more seasoning but it tasted like salted pork. I'm wondering if we should have ordered a more popular dish. Overall I'd recommend checking it out. Although I wasn't impressed by the entree we ordered, the ceviche makes me think that there may be more to this place than what we saw. read more

I went there with a friend about a week ago. I have been here many times, but this time I very disappointed. I was with a friend from the UK, I think the guys there thought they would see if they could over charge us (maybe they thought he wouldn't notice the extra $10.00 on our check since he's from out of the country) Like I said, I have been to Mojito's many times before with excellent experiences, but this time I was turned right off. There was no explanation as to why there was a random $10.00 charge on our check, the manager just brought us the revised check and apologized. I can understand if this was a mistake, however I do not think it was. The food is always amazing there, never had a bad dish, however since the owner/ name change of the restaurant the Mojito's (which they are famous for) they are not quite the same. I have heard from a few people they changed their recipe (for the Mojito's) when the the new owner came into the restaurant. Disappointing :( All in all, I will probably go back just because the food is so amazing. The atmosphere is awesome as well. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch. The place was busy but luckily we were seated right away. Pros: Drinks and food came out fast. The mojito's are very delicious! The place had a nice family feel to it. Food was completely amazing! I got the vegetarian entree while my boyfriend got the fried fish. Both were excellent. The mojito salad was super fresh and very tasty! Cons: The portions were on the small side. The restaurant doesn't seat very many people so you might have to wait for a table. It had a weird location (however we found street parking easily). There are no appetizers which would have helped with the small portion sizes. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant because of the quality of the food. Just don't go here super famished and you'll enjoy it. read more

I found this place by looking for good reviews on Yelp. It didn't disappoint. Two girlfriends and myself went here on a Saturday afternoon. We got the Mojito Platter to start. Delicious. I got the Pescado en Guiso. And my friends got the Parrila Mojito and the Pinchos Vegetarianos. Everything was amazing. We all loved our food and drink and can't wait to go back. The owner was very friendly and commended my friend for actually finishing her whole plate. Very good!! read more

Mojito is - from drinks to dessert - a phenominal Latin American restaurant. In honor of its namesake, I ordered a mojito - one of the best in town. My best friend opted for the sangria - delicious! I had the Pescado Mojito and the Ensalada Mojito, both amazing. My friend had a sandwich that looked really good - I say looked because she wouldn't share. We finished our meal by sharing a flan(esque) dessert, which I didn't want to share. We both agreed that Mojito has earned a spot among our favorite restaurants - if you find your way to Mojito, I'm sure you'll agree. read more

Tried this place for the first time this week with for a birthday dinner and everyone found something on the menu that they loved, even my vegetarian brother. The portions are generous, the place is teeny tiny with only a few tables inside and a nice small outdoor seating area, and the vibe is super laid back and friendly. I ordered the Pescado Frito and a mojito, of course. Both were delicious, and the entree came w/ a spinach salad that had an awesome creamy tangy dressing. Reason for the 4, not the 5: Everything comes out suuuper slow... both drinks and entrees (definitely not a place to eat when on a time constraint, but not a deal breaker when with good company and got the time). Also, we ordered an appetizer that didn't arrive at the table until after our entrees. All in all, I definitely recommend trying out on a sunny day. read more

Place is cute and fun! I came with a few friends on a monday night and i really liked it. I thought it would have some colombian dishes as it says on yelp, but it only had sancocho (on sundays) But either way it was really fun and the food was delicious. Will probably be coming back again :D Waiter was really nice. read more

I have been eating here for over a year and a half and have not had anything bad yet. My standards are high in the tres cake so that was just o.k. I am a huge fan of the soup they serve on the weekends and can't seem to not stop ordering the arepas in the pork and the beef. Also, I fell in love with their fried jicima. It comes with the mojito sauce but I order a side of the guasacaca sauce. Think a Central American/Panamanian version of guacamole. read more

Awesome place for mojitos $10 I recommend to stones with havanero sauce , I give it a 5 stars, But is a small place,I would suggest to make the restaurant and cover the patio. read more

Just went for a late lunch/early happy hour. The place was laid back and perfect for the sunny day. My mojito was STRONG and delicious. Our food was great -- I had the Vaca Frita, my partner in crime had the Pabellon -- and both plates were full of flavor. The plantains were especially delicious, with a brown, rich crunch on the outside and soft, fluffy insides. My only wish is that the plates (they were lunch plates) were just a bit bigger, or had one more element to make it worth the $12 price tag. A little pickled radish, or a side of hot sauce. Something to compliment the meal and make it a little fresher (mine did have a wedge of lime). We asked for hot sauce, and the server brought out a tiny little cup of some (seemingly) homemade spicy stuff, and it was delicious, but we would have liked more. Or for it to be with the dish so we didn't have to ask. We'll be back, though! We really did enjoy the food. read more

Best mojito you'll ever have! Small joint with so much to offer and the owner is the cherry on top. So nice and very personable. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back! No reservations and you will have to wait for a table on the weekends, but just grab a mojito while you wait and enjoy the intimate atmosphere! read more

Not only do they have THE BEST food in the neighborhood, but they also have THE BEST service. #victor Luam, give that man a raise!

My husband and I ordered from Mojito for our at home date night, and we were not disappointed! The beans, the rice, the meat, all of it was spectacular! Will be back to try their other dishes for sure. read more

Wonderful flavors, authentic restauranteur, legit cocktails. This is a don't miss neighborhood grub hut. You bet I'll be back!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, one of my top places for food in all of Seattle. Though I miss piling into the warm indoor environment (pre Covid-19) filled with happy people having fun dining together, the to-go meals and Mojitos still totally hit the spot and brings a taste of the Caribbean home to warm up the coldest night. From the Mojito platter filed with sweet and fried green plantains and fried yucca, the authentic rice and beans, and my personal favourite, the breaded fish platter, the food is always fresh and delicious. And with such caring staff and an owner who is always giving back to the community, everything about this place just feels (and tastes) amazing. read more

Tried this place on whim and it's incredible! We've been coming back for months and have always been impressed. Everything on the menu is good but the sandwiches are definitely the best. read more

Absolutely amazing, authentic and simply delicious food. We felt like we were on vacation in Cuba, like we'd hit the beach as soon as we stepped outside. We can't wait to go back! read more

Food was really overall excellent. We had the pescado mojito and the steak plate, both delicious and cooked perfectly. We were a little disappointed by the ceviche, the fish was tough and bland. Service and kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't get any but the drinks looked pretty delicious read more

Wasn't sure what to expect, as prior to my meal here I hadn't tried much food from Central & South America and the Caribbean, but the food was amazing. Cozy and colorful decor on the place, the server was attentive, and the food... Let's just say I'm a new regular customer after one visit. I had the Vaca Frita, and highly recommend it. Also, the two cocktails I ordered were delicious and poured heavy. A+ all around for this place. read more

I have been eating here for the last couple years. I haven't been here since the pandemic started. I was not disappointed. Amazing food. And the staff is outstanding as always. read more

This is my favorite Latin hole in the wall spot in all of the greater seattle metro area. I've been coming here for over 13 years. I've celebrated my 23rd&34th birthdays. The food is the amazing. Every morsel, bring memories of Latin America, the vaca frita w/Congri aka Casamiento (beans and rice mixed in) taste like Abuela's (it's a Cuban dish) but varied in central and South America. Luam the owner, and host is the most hard working business owner that not only sells you 5 star dishes, that have you counting the days till it's socially acceptable to return again, but he entertains you with his wit and charm. Fellas... the perfect date spot, where the host is your #1 wingman /just saying. The place is small, super intimate we were a group of 7 on what normally been a four top. Yet it's part of the atmosphere. I told my group 7:30... I showed up at 6:45 to get my name on the list.. there always a wait. This is 100% worth the wait read more

This is one of the best spots in the neighborhood, if not Seattle! Don't think about it too much, just get whatever you see first and you won't be disappointed! Empanadas: Amazing, Cuban: Amazing, Mojito: Amazing. These guys are the best! read more

Where do I start.... this is one of my FAVORITE restaurants ever!! I thought I already reviewed here a few years ago but I noticed today I have not! So here I go.... the moment you walk into the doors of Mojito you feel like you are the most important person to come thru the doors. The owner Luam is one of the nicest man ever! The whole staff is great! He greets ever one and makes sure that your whole diner experience is 110% amazing! The food..... absolutely fantastic! The ingredients in each dish is so fresh and flavorful! My favorite is the breaded fish and the shrimp appetizer. It is cooked just right... fish is still so yummy and juicy. The Mojito.... he uses a whole lime in each drink which makes it one of the best Mojito's ive ever bad!! Having dinner here is not just a dinner date it is a whole experience! One of my best/most funniest times was my 30th birthday. There was 15 us of there on a Sunday night. He had my kids playing with drums while chatting with each and every one of my family members! We stayed for hours and not 1 time did he make us feel like we needed to leave. This restaurant is not just a restaurant but part of our family. If you come to Washington.... Mojito is a MUST place to visit. Absolutely everything on the menu is to die for! If I could give it a 10 star I would. Thank you Luam for always giving us one amazing experience every single time!! read more

We've eaten at Mojitos many times! The food is amazing and the service is even better. The owner and the staff have gone over and above every time we've been there. I told my daughter she could order from where ever she wanted for her 16th birthday and she chose Mojitos. Support your local business and restaurants during this tough time! Great flavors and good service in this tiny, unpretentious neighborhood place. I especially loved the mango salad dressing.

I just moved to Seattle a few months ago & while my friend was visiting we stumbled on this place & I hadn't had good Cuban food since visiting Miami a few years but this place did it! I was shocked at how good it was. The place is very cute & can't wait to dine in after to covid & the Mojitos are also strong & delicious read more

The personable service along with the relaxing environment of that home town feel was incredible. My favorite drink is a mojito and believe me it is difficult to find a good refreshing mojito. I have never tasted anything like the passion fruit mojito. The food is 100% from scratch which is something I have not tasted in quite some time. My new favorite spot to just chill read more

Delicious, soulful food. I got the Mojito platter and loved every bite. Thank you for an awesome meal!

At least once a month for Takeout Thursday, we head to Luam's Mojitos. The food is delicious, even for a "take away", and the personal attention from Luam, Victor and the rest of the staff makes us feel like we're part of the family. Actually, I think we are! read more

We had a good meal there, perched on the chilly patio with take-out. Lovely people, and thoughtful, unique menu. Please please help these folks hold on until summer evenings, with Covid a distant memory, on the patio, with mojitos. Had Shrimp with grilled pineapple- OMG -with mango, bell peppers, Cachaça. Served with rice, tostones and Ensalada Mojito. But due to the cost, (high for me, $18), I would think twice about ordering off their Dinner menu again. I want to support them; will return, when I can get here, for lunch. The arepa, a filled Venezuelan corn cake, is $5 and a great lunch item. read more

We happened upon this charming restaurant by accident. The owner treated us like friends and made us feel welcome in his establishment. We returned the following day for lunch and enjoyed a great meal on the patio. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. I would recommend Mojito's and will return next time I am in the area. read more

This place is THE BEST food you will find in Seattle. No, not best Latin food. The best food. This has been our go to for a few years, and always a place I recommend to visitors (and always take my own family and friends that come to visit). I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal here. The owner, Luam, is amazing and always appreciates his customers. Come order yourself a mojito and the vaca frita. You won't leave disappointed. read more

Wow. We found this place by accident but what a find. The food is amazing. The owner is super friendly. This is a must eat place in seattle.

This is hands down the best Mexican food that I have ever had. I am serious: angels singing, gates-of-heaven-opening kind of food here. Savory, delectably seasoned chicken and tender, melt in your mouth steak. Staff was sweet and considerate too. Excited to visit again soon! read more

I'm still allergic to Poultry (chicken broth, duck, quail, Turkey) well he does was really responsive to the food allergies and make sure that there would be no issues before the meal served the owner had came out and introduced himself, he's full of energy and wants to make your visit very enjoyable. Also I highly recommend to ask for their secret sauce... As many layers and a powerful kick, that might knock you out of your chair, Delicious. I'll definitely be back! read more

One of my favorite places to go to in Seattle. This is real food. Simple and delicious. The owner stops by and chats with us every time we go. The Vaca Frita is my favorite thing to get. Excellent food. Excellent service. Fun vibe. read more

I will say that the food here is absolutely incredible. It's so flavorful and authentic and the space really makes it feel like a Latin American atmosphere. It is a bit on the expensive side since it seems like it would be street food in Latin America, but it's definitely worth it. The service, on the other hand, was subpar, and that's even being generous (my boyfriend used many more choice words to explain it and he has worked in the restaurant industry). When we got there, there wasn't a sign that said whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated, and no one was really around or looking toward the door so we sat down at an empty table. It was maybe a little long for them to take our order, 5-10 minutes, but once we ordered it took half an hour to even get a beer and salad, then another 15-20 minutes to get our entrees. During this time, no one stopped to check on us or apologize for the delay. They were busy, yes, but there is no reason why we shouldn't have still gotten service while we were waiting (our water didn't get refilled until we were done eating and only after we specifically asked). There were also people who got there after us who got their food before us, which was really frustrating and made my boyfriend think we may have done something to piss them off (sat ourselves instead of waiting?). I had ordered tostones but I think our server misheard me because I never got them and we got a mojito that I never ordered, and I decided that if the tostones weren't on the check I wasn't even going to bother because I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for those. My meal this time (vaca frita) also wasn't quite as good as it normally is- the beef wasn't seared off enough so it was a little mushy, and it also seemed like someone rushed to prep it beforehand because there were really large chunks of onions. The one good thing is that our server gave us a beer on the house, so that redeemed them a little bit. Overall, I have had food here a handful of times now and I'm still going to be a customer since he food is some of my favorite in Seattle, but maybe just via postmates or during off hours because the service was pretty cringeworthy. read more
