My FAVORITE "go to restaurant" for Cuban cuisine !!! The meals are seasoned, flavorful, and filling. The owner and staff are gracious and personable. read more

AMAZING! All-around a wonderful experience. The food was flavorful, well portioned and paired with warm service. The owner is by far one of the friendliest folks around, and he makes sure you are comfortable during your entire meal. My party and I were able to sit outside and enjoy our food, safely distanced from other guests at the establishment. We will be going back soon to enjoy another full service experience! read more

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The owner, Luam, was charismatic and inviting with every customer. Although the atmosphere is Latino, Luam is actually Ethiopian. Nonetheless he knows how to make crazy good food. Tres Leches cake is ON POINT. That and the bistec are items you must get when you go. Five stars, easy. read more

My spousal unit was not wild about the music systems overloaded bass but I was content sipping my Mojito and pretending I was on the beach in the Caribbean and he was fine after a little of his Mojito. I ordered the Mojito because I wanted alcohol fast no thought involved. Next time I will pick something else from the drinks menu. NOT that the Mojito was bad! But the other drinks looked very interesting. Food was good - I am looking forward to going back and trying different things on the menu - especially now that my partner has decided he is NOT a vegetarian! read more

Pros: The food here is YUMMY! Must try the Mojitos. Seriously good and authentic! We tried a shrimp appetizer that had serious flavor and with a great twist of cooked mangos in the dish. Nice shock to the taste buds. Very friendly if rushed service. Cons: For all the flavor it is pretty expensive for the location and set up they have. Dinner for 2 adults, 1 appetizer, a soft drink and 1 mojito was nearly $70. The location fits no more than 25 maybe 30 people and that was tight. They had 1 waiter that did a great job in the limited space. We went on a Tuesday night and every table was full. I would not try this place on a Friday or Saturday night. They had a great deal on Living Social recently that you can buy a $15 dollar voucher and it is worth $30 at the restaurant. read more

Hello, best Latin American food ever! I went to La Case Del Mojito with my hispanic boyfriend, and now he's a die hard fan and insists on eating there whenever we go out! He tells me the place reminds him of El Paso, Texas. Plenty of free parking, but the interior of the restauraunt is tiny, but makes the experience that much enjoyable, everyone here is happy and chattering and who wouldn't be after eating fresh food? Very cozy, and colorful! A great place to go with a gathering of loved ones and friends. Please try the Mojito's, best Mojito's ever, and the Chicken Pollo is wonderful on the lunch menu, especially when ordered with a fried egg on top. A little pricey, but totally worth it. For some reason, the chefs, and the staff are not very excited if you order just an appetizer, I kinda like to go somewhere where I can order whatever I want, and will not serve anything from the lunch menu on the dinner menu even if you ask for dinner prices for the lunch items. That's kinda lame, because a lot of the items on the lunch menu taste better then what's on the dinner menu. Overall, highly recommended. read more

I absolutely loved Mojito! I had the Parilla Mojito which was delicious. I only wish it came with the fried sweet plantains with queso blanco!! It's a very small restaurant so get there early in the evening in order to be seated. The music is really loud which takes some getting used to but once you do you barely hear it, and the seats can be uncomfortable at first, but, again, you get used to it. Definitely give it a try. The owner is fantastic--so nice and welcoming!! Go go go! read more

Try the Arepas! I could order about 20 servings and call it a day. For $1.95 each they're well worth it! The Pastelitos are scrumptious as well. Entrees eaten: Pescado Frito and the Ensalada con Pollo. Both mediocre dishes in flavor, but the ingredients were definitely fresh and the fish was fried perfectly. Service was shotty - kind of slow bringing out our food and delivering our check. Also, my water was never refilled after I drank the entire glass. The waiter was polite, nonetheless. I will definitely return to Mojito to enjoy more Arepas and possibly a different entree. There's no parking lot so street parking is where it's at. Is this a family business? Definitely got that vibe. Cool. read more

I'm giving their mojitos itself a 5 star. Definitely well made. I'm removing a star because they serve the drinks in regular 12oz glasses. They should really be served in at least pint glasses. Doesn't have to be fancy but with all the ice and lime they stuff, you probably only really get about 8oz of mojito when it's all said and done. And at $7-10 (depending on if you get the regular or the top shelf) your money won't go very far and your drink too. They have flavored mojitos that come out more like a smoothie consistency so for that definitely can go for the smaller size glasses or that else you will be too full for your meal. We had the ceviche appetizers and that was really good. Too much onions but still good portion of fish for the price. We each ordered a different dish and for the most part all of it was delicious. They meat was a little tough if you ordered the steak type meats. Your best bet is to order shredded meat or fish dishes and that will guarantee that the meat is softer makes for easier chewing. For that I'm removing another star. Small so come early. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday evening and by the time we left around 630, all the indoor tables were already packed. Will come back for the mojitos, cevich and the fried plantains. This review may sounds picky (removing a star for glass size and meat texture) but this is for overall experience and it was annoying have to deal with it so there you go. Otherwise great service and ambiance. If you aren't looking for small details like me, I'm sure everything will be top notch. read more

After a long day the wife and I had a late dinner here last night. We were able to sit outside around 830, seated right away. The staff were super friendly I had a mojito to drink, my wife had a "sunburst" (or something like that). Mine was very lime tasting (a good thing!) and hers was very banana tasting (also good!) The sweet plantains were awesome. We also tried the beef pastelitos - I thought they were fair, but my wife loved them. I had the Lechon Asado (pork) and my wife had the Vaca Frita (beef). Both were awesome, and we cleaned our plates. The food came out quick, the music was at a good volume. We relaxed and sipped our drinks, and thought about how we need a vacation badly. Thanks for the 90 min vacation, Mojito. We'll be back! read more

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his daughter . Amazing hardworking people! We were also extremely impressed by his quality control and the food quality with a great atmosphere to boot! read more

YUMMMMMMM!!! Damn good mojitos; Damn good food; Damn good vibe; and Damn good service! Eat here, be happy.

I cannot say enough positive things about Mojito. I wanted authentic Venezuelan food, and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent. They normally don't personally deliver but I spoke with Victor and explained that I wanted to make an order for a large group and didn't have ability to drive and pick it up. Victor went out of his way to personally drive the food to my house. So grateful to Mojito- they went above and beyond!! read more

I'm not sure what has taken me so long to write this review. Namely I don't tend to write reviews no matter how much I love or loathe any establishment; However I love an exception to the rule and Mojito is certainly that. I was fortunate enough to live a few short minutes from this oasis and spent the better part of a decade telling family and friends how badly they needed to experience it. There are so many levels of excellence that it's hard to contain in one review. The atmosphere is intoxicating, the food is delicious, the service supreme and the sense of community truly reminds you we are all one big family. Luam has been so kind and generous that choosing this one story feels like a disservice But we only have so much time. Last weekend was my son's 21st birthday (he has been going to Mojito's since he was 5 years old and being in Seattle and unable to be with him due to Covid was hard. I knew the one thing that would make him feel as if we were all there with him was a good Zoom party catered by Mojito. Upon hearing of the festivities Luam insisted on covering the cost and provided dinner, dessert and drinks for my son and his girlfriend even though the entire point was for us to support his amazing restaurant and giant heart during this difficult time. This man is truly has a heart to serve community and does it with style, grace and amazing food. I can't recommend this place enough and hate that I'm not in Seattle to to order my own plate! Please give your money, time and energy to a place that gives it back in a multitude of ways. Mojito is the spot!! read more

After all these years they're still a solid restaurant for Latin food. Their steak salads are great, as are any of the dishes with beans and rice. The fried plantains just don't taste as good as home made. Love the batidos but request they add milk. The hot sauce is worth getting on the side. And their alcoholic drinks will place you right in the tropics. read more

I'm from Miami and grew up on Cuban and Latin food. This is the best you'll ever have in seattle. Vaca Frita is better than some I've eaten back home. The only thing that'd make me more satisfied was if they served Fritas Cubanos or Media Noches, but their Cuban Sandwich is authentic! read more

Yeah, this place is the real thing. One of my staff took me here for lunch one day, and we ended up spending a couple of hours there savoring the delicious Cuban food and the truly outstanding margheritas and mojitos. I've spent a lot of time in the Latin Caribbean, so I know the difference between mediocre and great Latin food. The restaurant has a very friendly staff, and overall is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that feels genuine the moment you walk in. Love it! read more

Yummy and no bullshit: just like I like my Latin/Carribean/South American food. Place has a rustic whole-in-the-wall feel that transforms into a bit of a nightlife stop with the lights down and the music goes way up. We went on a Friday night for a late dinner so the DJ was blasting it out, but we had a great time and my boyfriend spent some time on the congas after the owner/manager (?) brought them around. The ceviche alone nearly made us melt - it had the right amount of acidity, fat (avocado) and substance (hominy added - never thought of that!). Tostones were a bit tough to chew but LOVE that dipping sauce. And though we were a bit underwhelmed with our dishes (I had the steak Parilla and he had the pork), I think it was only because we were so ridiculously full by then and the portions are HUGE. We'll definitely go back, and looking forward to trying the mojitos! read more

Ordered the Parilla de Luigi and platter o' appetizers. Great food, and put down a few mojitos. Great service like everyone says, music was great, etc. I wanted to order everything on the menu. I'm a fan, and I'll be back, but I think they should almost bump up the pricing noted on Yelp to $$$. One entree & appetizer, 2 drinks 2 sodas & a desert was $70. Just enough of a sting to say 'ouch' after a great meal. But DAMN the food & drinks were good. Service was great. I just don't mind paying when I have a great time and good food. read more

This is an astoundingly yellow place on an acute corner intersection right off Lake City Way by I-5. We've only been once but the food was quite good with rather decent portion sizes. I had the Vaca Frita (which I would give 4.5 stars) and it was very flavorful and delicious. The only criticism was it was slightly overdone, but minimally so. I took some home and it was still delicious from the fridge a day later. The wife got the Camarones del Carmen Miranda which was ridiculously good. I have to give that one five stars because it was not only flavored very well but the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Most don't even know the difference between well-cooked and over-cooked shrimp, but clearly these people do... and I appreciate that. They only lose a star because all of the servers claimed they were "new" and had no idea what any of the menu items actually were, whether or not they contained ingredients that my wife is allergic to, or what fresh juice options they had. They also lose a little bit for being slightly too pricey. I'd probably eat here a lot if they were a few bucks cheaper. read more

Excellent food, I couldn't stop eating! I had a fish dish (can't remember the name) and my boyfriend had beef. Both were amazing. The place is pretty small, but we managed to get the last table at 7:30pm on a Thursday. They have a cute patio area with a few tables -- I'm definitely going back when the weather is nicer to sit outside (note -- I was here in the Spring and forgot to post this). read more

My husband and I went with friends to Mojito last night. Holy Hanna!!!!! It was the BEST! The owners were there and treated us like honored guests. The food was incredible, but more than that, the service and conversation put this evening over the top. Lucky for me, it's within walking distance!! This is my new favorite place. read more

Stopped by with family on a whim last weekend while in Ravenna. We waited about fifteen minutes to be seated. Once in, it was cozy, festive and lively. Our host was fun was attentive. The food was excellent, from the first dish to the last. I have not had fried plantains that good since I was a little kid back in NY at the Cuban Star Restaurant on Main. They even accommodated a request for a non-meat arepa (stuffed cornmeal pancake) and it was great. Definitely heading back because I've been thinking about the place ever since. read more

My second time getting take out. The flavors are there but I'm truly dissapointed. I ordered the Parrilla Mojito and about 1/3 of the beef was raw. I like my beef medium but these pieces had not touched the grill at all. Don't think I'll go again, unfortunately. read more

I'd like to give a shout out to Victor!! I had some problems with a large on-line order and he made it right for me. He was very kind and I really appreciate that. And the food was amazing as always!! Can't wait for the next party! read more

I love this place! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food comes out in a timely fashion and always tastes great! Drinks are delicious and they're never "weak". Prices are very reasonable. There's street parking all around restaurant. The place has a nice/homey feel to it. The owner is often working at the restaurant and makes an effort to get to know his customers! read more

Mojitos!! 100% recommend!!! Moving from Miami we were happy to find this gem of delicious Latin food!! Our first time dining experience at Mojitos and it was amazing! Victor, was very kind and took time to talk to us and make conversation making us feel like "familia." Top notch service for sure!! I ordered Vaca Frita & my husband ordered the Parilla Mojito. The food was delicious!! The flan was perfect! The food tastes not only homemade but very fresh!! We had outdoor seating which Victor made us feel extremely comfortable by turning on the heaters and made this experience just what we needed! The MOJITOS were spot on!! The owner, Luam also spoke to us and made us feel at home. We were all smiles and really felt the sense of community! Recommend it to everyone looking for not only delicious Latin food but also a friendly family style staff that will make the dining experience memorable! Looking forward to our next visit! read more

Amazing food, great atmosphere and service. First time trying but will be back over and over again! Victor was amazing and the one who helped us out! Wish I could give more stars!! Vaca Frita was what I ordered and it tasted amazing! So fresh and flavorful! Couldn't recommend coming here enough! read more

So many friends have recommended this place and I finally got around to trying their food. It did not disappoint! We ordered cheese empanadas, a Vaca Frita Dinner and a mojito for take out. Victor and Ana were friendly and chatted us up while we waited for our food. When we got home we realized they threw in a small extra treat, maduros, which we devoured. Many reviews recommend the Vaca Frita dinner and I 10/10 agree with the recommendation to order it! Emanadas are on the smaller end for my liking, but were delicious as well. read more

Not only is the food amazing (best empanadas I've ever had in my life), but Victor and his staff are just the nicest people. Victor makes you feel like you're a regular from the neighborhood even if you're visiting for the first time - and that is rare. The sandwiches are fantastic and the Tres Leches cake is other-worldly! Love this food, love the vibe, love the patio - highly recommend:) read more

Lively atmosphere with friendly home kitchen friendliness. The yuca frita was delicious, the mojo sauce stole the show. I had the steak sandwich with fried egg. Delicious! The chef brought out his house made habanero sauce. So darn good and not punch you in the gizzards hot. I will be back! read more

This place was lovely!! Our first time out at a restaurant since this whole thing all started, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Staff was wonderfully friendly, ambiance was great, food was INCREDIBLE! Definitely get a mojito (maybe two!) and don't pass on desert. Can't gush enough, it was a great time read more

Super unassuming, but incredibly tasty food. It may be a bit hard to get to--I recommend parking a block away and walking, but it is more than worth it. The staff and owner are very friendly. All items our group ordered tasted wonderful. Prices are reasonable. And, of course, the traditional mojito was very good. We'll be going back soon. read more

What a fantastic restaurant. The food is outstanding. I don't know how they bring out so many flavors in the food, but it's heavenly. The atmosphere is lively and the drinks are strong. Overall fantastic. The Vaca Frita, Maduros, Arepas, Empanadas, Ceviche, and the Mojito + habanero sauces are some of my favorites. Not to mention delivery is fast and consistent - looking forward to stopping by myself for take out some time so I can grab actual mojitos to go. read more

This place is authentic and bomb. The yucca fries are crispy and not oily, the mojito sauce is spicy and flavorful... even the salad is good. They core their tomatoes (thank you!) and the mango dressing was just right... not too sweet, not too vinegar, not too oily. I'll be back for sure to try the Cuban. The service was quick and friendly. read more
