My best friend lives out here and she's been here a number of times so since we're visiting from California, she said we have to come!! We were in luck that they had a reservation available along with a special seasonal menu!! As we walked in, it was gorgeous with a vignette of a garden that outlook a little lake or river that ran around the backside of the restaurant. I kept gazing out the window, hoping to find deer or some sort of wildlife!! Lol. There's also an upstairs which no one was sitting in, but I could only imagine how beautiful that view would have been! The decor was very elegant and upscale with a modern twist!! My other best friend was able to order an espresso martini with tequila which she was highly excited about because she does not drink vodka. I got a traditional espresso martini with vodka. We ordered the blue corn bread and to our dismay it was rather dry. So we wondered if it was fresh or not. Nevertheless, when we ordered our food, my two best friends got the blue corn waffles and fried chicken and I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict yet I wanted scrambled eggs. I know I know! Scrambled eggs just sounded better for this particular day. Once our food arrived, the waffles seemed dry to both of my friends, and my salmon on my eggs. Benedict was overcooked and dry. Thank goodness, there was avocado and a chipotle aïoli sauce that I could dip into the salmon to juice it up some! My two best friends ended up returning their meals because they couldn't eat the dry waffles and their replacement food, shrimp and grits, as well as barbecue wings and mac & cheese came rather quickly and they loved those dishes!! We also ordered another round of cocktails that were very equally measured. So the taste was there, yet none of us had a buzz from the drinks. Lol. Perhaps it was the food we ordered, but I was not really impressed. I'm not too sure if I'll come back here when I visit Atlanta in the spring, but it was definitely a vibe in the restaurant itself.

I came across Mojave after a drive into Sandy Springs and decided that I would try it soon. The exterior was gorgeous and looked like the perfect setting for a brunch/dinner date night. It offers Mexican inspired cuisine and each meal I've had to date has been super flavorful. They offer both interior and exterior seating for guests. The interior is decorated beautifully and as originally stated - is perfect for date night or a meal out with girlfriends. The location offers a decent amount of parking, making it easy for all patrons with different sized vehicles. The service is amazing. Each time I've been by, everyone always goes above and beyond to ensure my party and I have the best experience. I live about 30 minutes away, but will always drive in for Brunch based on the hospitality given here. Mojave also partners with the In-Kind app which allows you to earn app funds for a future visit. If you haven't tried this place out, you need to.

Thursday 4pm - I came here to meet a few clients who work nearly ( this was their recommendation) for happy hour , a quick drink before they head home . Nice place , a bit dark ( would make a big difference did its brighter ) with friendly service . Sat by the bar with a group and we were all attended to . Some ordered the chips / guacamole and wings . With the limited orders , can't comment on the full menu but the food was as expected . The outdoors did seem like a better option especially on a nice day . The bar opens up to the outdoors while also connected to the inside of the restaurant .

I can now say with 100% confidence, this restaurant is the absolute worse for food and now service in Atlanta. I don't think I've ever thought this about a restaurant, but it just needs to close. It's absolutely awful. I was here with co-workers celebrating, but I would not order any food or cocktails because the strawberry margaritas and our food was TRASH the first time I came. Now this time, the server was nice and engaging when she did come to the table. We then went long periods of time without seeing her to be able to order drinks or food. Then this other guy showed but... never introduced himself. Just a horrible experience again. I never anticipate coming back. Flavorless food and bad, inattentive service... What a waste of a cute space.

The food that I had at this place was a 100/10. The enchiladas de Mar was amazing I never had something like that. I just keep thinking about it. The rice was so soft pair very well with the enchiladas and the Cajun sauce The service was amazing! The drinks tasted great. The place was clean.

The ambiance is very nice. The food is 10/10. I like how they make their tortillas in-house. I ordered the fried calamari, grouper taco, & shrimp taco. I also ordered the chicken tenders to go. The breading they use is packed with flavor. The staff had a nonchalant attitude and wasn't quite inviting.

I came here after Easter service and ordered things from the brunch menu. Overall, I thought this place had a really great vibe and really delicious food. The drinks were delicious and they did not skimp out on the alcohol. The interior of the restaurant was very nice because it was overlooking a pond. It seemed like there were many families here which was a plus. My only complaint would be that the table was a bit sticky and the cups were placed upside down so it didn't seem super sanitary. Other than that I thought it was a great restaurant and I would come back. The service was also really great!

Great staff, great service, and the food and drinks were delicious! Got the Mojave bowl, their brisket tacos are so flavorful the moment it touches your tongue! *chefs kiss*

Cliche, but teamwork makes the dream work. Walk in on a busy Saturday night but room at the bar. Colton was my server and did an outstanding job. He made great recommendations as he was knowledgeable about the menu and recent change of direction from leadership. I started with the queso poblano. It was good and flavorful but my biggest feedback it that all the food needs acid and heat to balance the sweet. I get that the heat is different here than the southwest but maybe a heat scale that you offer the customer to ensure heat is at the right level. I asked for hot sauce and that did the trick. The staff was absolutely amazing. They covered each other perfectly. Colton recommended a great margarita (and it was), I wanted a brew with dinner and Keith was right there to not miss a beat while Colton was serving the bar. I noticed Sophia making this cool looking drink, hibiscus margarita and she served that as an after dinner drink. All that service was seamless without any posturing for who was serving. Great things happen when you don't care who gets the credit. I cannot forget that may main course was the chile grilled chicken. It was excellent, falling off the bone good with the perfect amount of char. Same feedback that some heat or heat options would greatly improve the offering. I had a chance to speak with Lana (the boss) to complement her on the service and teamwork. You could tell she cared about their brand and the people. First time here and will return. Good food but the service is some of the best I have seen. Thank You

I cannot say enough good things about Mojave! Brought my friends for brunch & they loved it too. They're never overcrowded and I've never had a bad dish. Such a hidden gem. Plus who can beat bottomless mimosas??

I love their 50% Off one appetizer and $5 margarita from 4pm-6pm on Monday. Follow @lemaitravel on IG for Atlanta's best eats and things to do. @mojaverestaurantatl 6450 Powers Ferry Rd NW *Free Parking Happy Hour: Monday: $5 CLÁSICA MARGARITA, PICANTE & FRESA. Wednesday:$35 BOTTLE WINE + APPETIZER Thursday: $5 SANGRÍA ROJA & BLANCA Friday: $6 SELECT WINE GLASS Weekend: 11AM-4pm $25 BOTTOMLESS MIMOSA *the drinks here is tasty, strong and refreshing. My personal favorite was the brilliante sangria, refreshing and delicious. *the wings was half off on Monday and it's customer's top favorite. I can see why, it's made with love on the grill and delicious. *CAMARON FRITO TACO and CARNE ASADA TACO was amazing! My friend devoured it fast. *the Cuban sandwich with fries and maduros was perfect with all the cocktails. Mojave is an absolute gem! Their $5 happy hour is a standout, offering incredible value with delicious options. The restaurant has been rightfully voted best for its stunning interior, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional outdoor seating. Whether you're dining indoors surrounded by the elegant decor or relaxing on the elevated patio with breathtaking views, Mojave delivers an unforgettable experience. It's no wonder this spot is so highly recommended--don't miss out!

Great location - newest Ray's on The River with spacious parking lot. I went for lunch on a working day. Seems like more people turned up that day unexpectedly so service was little slow but the food compensated it. Nice ambience; even patio seating is available. I tried the salmon salad and Pollo Frito .. Absolutely yummy and prepared truly professionally. Loved the ambience and enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back here.

I can't wait to go back, for the scenery, food and margaritas. They have the best watermelon margaritas, I've ever had. Large parking lot, and tucked away by the lake. It is a very open restaurant but allows you to take advantage of the view because of the large windows all around. A great bar. I have to highlight two things. The watermelon margarita w s a great mix. Didn't taste syrupy, beautiful presentation. Now the lamb chops, I didn't order. But it looked enough for a king. I can't wait to go back. Oh and the service. I wish I could remember our server. She was GREAT!!!

Do they have heaters out on the patio during winter?

Yes

Does this restaurant take reservations for larger parties (15+)?

Yes, but they do ask for a credit card to hold it.

Do they have happy hour specials?

Yes, they do. I believe it's from 4-7 pm most days!

Is there any free parking at the restaurant? I notice in the comment it mentions private parking.

Yes! There is free parking behind the Valet in the same parking lot, which isn't a far walk at all! Valet is optional! :)… Read more

Are they still taking COVID seriously? We had a reservation set, but based on the numerous, concerning reviews regarding lack of safety we cancelled. We look forward to trying, but will not tolerate establishments that dont take this seriously.

The servers had masks on. Some not wearing them correctly. But I definitely thought they sat people too close. The bar was full and on that night all of their tables were full. So if you're very worried I'd look elsewhere. Their food is delicious… Read more

Are there vegetarian options?

They have a Unisex bathroom when tou walk in to the right and then they have one in the room where they have the shows. They have a nice bar and waiting area. If you are looking for a venue that provides intimate entertainment then this is a place to visit. The acoustics, sound system, lighting & table set up are great. Its a lot of space to get up, dance & walk around. The tables are not on top of one another it is good for groups. The music sounds great as well. Now let me get to the food. My friend has been here several times and said the food is normally good, however, today it was subpar. I had all sides and every one was horrible the Sweet Potato Souffle had no seasoning it was very bland, kind of loose and tasted like water, it had no vanilla, cinnamon or nutmeg. I was glad they made the greens with Turkey however, it was a bit salty and the greens were extremely soft, the Mac n' cheese was a miss they were bland & had no taste at all, lastly the Garlic Mashed Potatoes didn't have a lick of garlic, they were also bland & stiff, I had to ask for butter to help loosen them up. The lamp chops were brought to the table cold which took away from being able to enjoy them. One thing I will say the entertainment is what will bring me back the food I will definitely be hesitant to order anything, they do have a $10 minimum order which is great and an automatic 20% Gratuity is added to every check. Also, I did mention this to the server who had the Mgr come speak to us, the Mgr did do right by us and discounted our bill by 50% as we left half the food on the table. Overall I would have given 2 stars if this was a review for food only. But since I was really there for the entertainment they will get 4 stars. 4

We both enjoyed our drinks. I ordered the Fried Calamari to start. They were perfectly fried and the marinara had great flavor and was an excellent compliment to the calamari. At our server's recommendation I ordered the Georgia Fried Chicken and I was supe happy with it. The chicken was excellently cooked and the hot honey (really more honey than hot) was a great addition. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding! The Asian inspired flavor made the dish. The Mac and cheese was good, but I like a lot more solid cheese rather than cheese sauce, which this one had. My wife was very satisfied with the Bistro Steak Sandwich. She loved the bread the sandwich came in. The one bite of steak I had was good, but I could have used a touch more salt. She thought it was seasoned perfectly. I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

The lunch atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed, with some sports excitement if a prime game is being played. The beer & cider list is rotating and extensive, they even usually have several varieties of mead available, which is pretty cool. The food is well-executed bar food that comes out nice and hot. The chicken tenders are some of the best I've ever had- the batter isn't too heavy, it's flavorful, has all the crunchy nooks and crannies you could want, and comes with their delicious house-made honey mustard. The fries are good but I always get the onion straws for my side, I'm a sucker for onion straws and these are perfectly breaded without being greasy. The mozzarella sticks are massive, a little tricky to maneuver but so worth it since they're made in house and not just your typical frozen bag kind. Another app I really enjoy is the mini corn dogs that also come with the yummy honey mustard. On my last visit I tried the jalapeño bacon cheese bites which were tasty. Salty, which is to be expected, with a combo of both cheddar and cream cheese that made for a nice gooey center.
