Heads up: You're paying for the atmosphere when you come here, food is slightly better than average. I came here on a double date dinner and we sat outside by the water fountain. Super cute with elephant ear plants and hanging planters, definitely a vibe and one I plan to experience during brunch hours if I come again. There was a whole party of 15-20 women hootin and hollering for a birthday right next to us, but I guess the drinks were kicking in because we didn't even mind and started hootin and hollering ourselves having a grand ol time catching up.... so moral of the story: order the drinks. They were on point! A variety of cocktails to choose from and with fresh fruits, even the Shirley temple was a perfect mix. As for the food... we got: - Snapper Ceviche (not pictured): Tastes fresh! We really liked this! - Steak Tacos, medium rare: steaks were good, but the tacos overall were a bit dry and could have used a little sauce or something wet to compliment it. $5/ea - Lobster Sandwich: My friend liked it and it was supposed to come with hush puppies, but they'd run out or something so instead came with fries. He didn't care too much for the fries. - Paella: This dish came with chicken which was tender and seasoned well, clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp with tails, and sausage... all of which I really enjoyed! The Spanish rice came in a soupy sauce that was flavorful. I'd get it again, but for lunch. While it was tasty, not worth the nearly $30 for dinner prices. - Crab Enchiladas: Same for the crab enchiladas, not worth $30! I actually didn't think this was as flavorful at all. The enchiladas were indeed stuffed with crab, but it could have been seasoned or buttered up a bit more in my opinion. This came with rice and beans. Pretty standard. My partner ordered this and while he enjoyed it, said he wouldn't order it again. Overall it was a great place to meet up with friends which I noticed seemed to be the usual crowd with most tables being in groups of four to whole party size, so in that sense it seems to be a good spot for drinks and catching up but also I'll only come here for lunch or order smaller portions, tacos, or sandwiches if I come again for dinner because an $80 tab for just two entrees felt a bit excessive for a Monday night dinner, just my opinion. read more

BIG turn off and it didn't even fall off the bone AND it wasn't inexpensive. Outdoor Seating Ambiance: This is so laughable. It's on the Chattahoochee River, but what they don't mention is your view of is of trees and limbs of the most shallow part of a creek it, not a river. SO disappointing. We arrived this was my second visit. I had brunch before. It was good. Today we were celebrating my sisters pre birthday. The flavors of the both wingettes were ok Chipolte and lemon pepper not quite on point. Two people in the party ordered but I did not order any appetizers myself , just tasted. Mojave is a cute Latin American Restaurant near the chattahoochie River. They have a cute outdoor patio facing a water plus upstairs dining & a cute bar. The menu is pretty cool but the food was not that great. This is my second time here and unfortunately the food was lackluster the first time, Maybe I'm not order the right items lol. Next time I'll try the lamb and the paella because someone at the table next to us had it & it smelled heavenly. I had the Tempura Shrimp Taco which was tasty however, sadly, the Caesar Salad, Blue Cornbread and Mexican Street Corn lacked flavor. The drinks were really good and our server made great drink suggestions and was very friendly & knowledgeable! I am so happy I made a reservation a week in advance. I really liked that when I showed up an hour early, they still accommodated. GO EARLY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT! The food was good overall. I ordered the Spanish omelette with a side of cheese grits and potato casserole. The omelette came with some spicy ground beef and peppers on top which was very good. It came with a biscuit that I wasn't thrilled about. The potato casserole was super salty and the macchiato was bitter. The grits however were an A+. My husband ordered the chicken tacos and Spanish rice which he gave a 7/10. The blue corn table bread is phenomenal! We were seated upstairs alone which was great! Social distancing is not enforced and the staff don't wear masks which I didn't have an issue with because I'm vaccinated (don't @ me). The service is super duper slow. They may need to hire additional waiters and waitresses. My waitress was nice and polite but she did her best going up and down those stairs to check on us. I wouldn't eat there again but I'm happy I tried it out. read more

I celebrated my birthday at Mojave! Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious! I loved the French Toast and the Blue Cornbread appetizer. Everyone else at my table ordered the Omelette Mariscos and we enjoyed every bite! I am sure you cannot go wrong here with whatever you order. The menu is vast and unique! It was very tasty, but quite soupy compared what I have had in the past - But very tasty!! One of the guests got a couple tacos that she said were excellent. Ok so BOOM! A friend and I decided to catch-up on life at Mojave. We were both interested in checking it out so we made a reservation. We love outside seating and opted to be seated on the patio! Loved the view. Choose the location on the patio wisely, some areas are directly in the sun which can annoying .... Anyway our server was nice especially when we informed him it was our first time. He told us his favorites and then we ordered. We started off with strawberry margaritas they were so good. We also got the guacamole.... It was soooooo good like soooo good! Our waiter came back like 5 times to take our order. You know how it is when you're catching up and haven't had a chance to look over the menu Lolol.. we finally placed our order. I got the shrimp and grits !! Listen hands down I wanted to order another one! It was that good. Only go here for brunch. Went for dinner and was severely disappointed. For food, we had the ribs and the open faced torta. The ribs were extremely tough and had no seasoning besides being doused in BBQ sauce. The torta was served on a piece of bread that was so sweet it tasted more like cake. The toppings were also lackluster. For drinks, we had a mezcal cocktail and margs. My bf did really enjoy his margarita. We had a reservation and had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be seated. No worries. Once seated, it was a struggle to get our drinks ordered. Warm beer, flat soda and some of the drinks were made wrong. Bartenders need some training. Waitress was overwhelmed, she was struggling. Took an hour and a half to get appetizers. Then more time to get entrees ordered. Took about 2 hours into being seated to even have our entrees ordered. Crazy. Food was good but not worth the wait at all. Then out of nowhere, a guy from our table, his chair broke and he literally fell to the floor. Two waitresses saw it happen and picked up the chair and gave him a new one. Owner and manager of this place was working and not once did either come by to see if he was ok. We had to ask other servers to take our appetizer plates away because they just sat there. Not once did our waitress come by to ask how are food was or anything. When we asked for more drinks, it took awhile to get them. She argued with us multiple times when we brought up the warm beer and the drinks being wrong. Like I said, she was overwhelmed and it showed. The place was busy when we got there but dead half way through before we got our entree. We were there a total of almost 3 hours because of the lack of service. Ridiculous!! Mojave is a beautiful restaurant with a very lively ambiance. The patio is very nice spot to sit in the summer time. The service is great, we had a reservation at 7pm and was sat almost immediately. Our waitress was attentive and patient. The food is good. We got two appetizers the wings and the blue cornbread. The wings were amazing and had a great smoky taste and the char on them made for a great crispy texture. The blue cornbread was very sweet and tasted almost like a dessert and looked very similar to lady fingers, we would probably not order them again. The burger was great the caramelized onions mixed with bun provide a sweet flavor and compliment the savory taste of the burger. The paella was okay, it was a little salty for my taste but the clams were quite sandy. It had a good flavor and I loved the amount of seafood that was in the dish. Food was good once we received it. Wings were outstanding, but 1 hour 50 minutes...still no entrees. Update... 2 hour and 30 minute meal at a Mexican restaurant. Service was challenging because the bar staff were terrible and it took forever to get entrees ordered that didn't sync with appetizers. We ordered a second round or appetizers, and still didn't take entree orders. Warm draft, flat drinks, and unfortunately the waitress argued with us about bad drinks. We left two at the bar prior to being seated because they were so bad. Staff did not seem to be concerned. And to top it off, we had a chair break mid meal, and a urinal was flooding the bathroom. It's a very bad sign when it takes me forever to scan the menu and decide what I want because none of the options seemed appealing. I settled for the enchiladas and they were not good, I couldn't even finish eating them. The appetizers are the best thing on the menu, we had the guacamole and queso. My family visited Mojave for my daughter's birthday. They have a nice size parking lot with valet and (free) self parking options. We made a reservation and were seated quickly.  The food menu had many good looking options. Our orders include a couple of Shrimp and Grits , a cheeseburger and I had the Mole chicken.  Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I expected a bigger piece of chicken with my order, but I enjoyed it.  They did not have any free birthday dessert options, but t put a candle on our Tres Leches order.  Every view in the restaurant is great and they have a cool water fountain setup outside. They even have TVs set up around the restaurant if you want to catch a game. We will be back, hopefully when the weather warms up so we can take advantage of the outside seating. read more

So, I am updating my review based on my last two visits to the bar. Met girls in the bar area and had a great high top table in a beautiful setting with good drinks and appetizers. The drinks are expensive at $12-$13 each and not big drinks, but the setting is pretty awesome. Went back this week on a Wednesday and there was live entertainment. Two male vocalists with a guitar and they were amazing, apparently they are present every Wednesday evening. These guys are worth going to hear! It was a little loud if you were sitting close, so I would advise sitting back a little. But, really really good! read more
