This is the best diner I have EVER touched in my entire existence in this world. The food was amazing on top of the refreshing ice cold beverages. The service was impeccable and brought a tear to my eye. I recommend this diner to EVERYONE. read more

Mohegan Diner - Yianni argiros(the waiter) - Diners Near Me - Mohegan Lake, New York

In all fairness, had we had a major meal here, the review/rating would be more substantial. First impressions DO count and the Mohegan Diner gives off a nice warm welcoming vibe upon entering the vestibule. The fish tank is as maintained/clean as when we went here years back. The counters are spotless - plenty of free accessible parking as well as handicapped ramps Above all, service from everyone we encountered was friendly with a smile/greeting. You weren't made to feel rushed to leave. [will update in time] ** cakes/cookies can be special ordered for holidays read more

Mohegan Diner - I guess the desserts are pretty POPULAR bc at the hour of 8pm most are gone - Diners Near Me - Mohegan Lake, New York

Great service, average food. It's got 100% New York diner vibe. Keep your expectations moderate, don't order anything crazy. Good fries. read more

Brunette girl, tattoo on arm, is rude !. Recently we came across a TikTok of her also talking badly about her job and recognised her. She complains of there is no tip, and is wishing horrible experiences upon the customers saying we have to tip, even if this is not a traditional aspect to us, it is not the customers fault that you are payed $2 an hour ! be nice read more

My husband and I happened to stumble upon the Mohegan Diner...and, we were pleasantly surprised. It seemed unassuming but it exceeded our expectations in every way. Imagine the best waitress you ever had (warm, helpful, and attentive)--that was Donna, terrific food (we both had the lunch special lentil soup and half a ruben), and we split tiramisu. The owner even came by and gave us some tips on which dessert to order (his wife makes them all). The food was amazing. We will definitely go back next time we are up that way. read more

I love this Diner food is always good. The service is great plus the owners make you feel like family. They remember our names and its just a nice place to eat . The bathrooms are very clean . The diner is clean just love this diner read more

Service was food. Husband ordered an hamburger. It came plain- no lettuce or tomato. Wasn't offered a pickle or coleslaw to go with it. Servers should bring the food as requested. read more

HORRIBLE customer service from the waitress being rude and unpleasant to the woman at the front desk (Short dark hair) being beyond rude. Unfortunate to say but very disappointing!!! read more

The food is always great! The wait staff is amazing! It's our good too place when we visit our daughter in Yorktown Heights, NY!!

Just had the tiramisu cake for desert and it was the best that I have ever tasted. The baker was on vacation and returned this week, we had the strawberry cheesecake yesterday which was also to die for. read more

Great, classic diner! Exactly what you're looking for in a diner. Great family restaurant!

The food was at or below mediocre--the tuna in the wrap was good, the side of "turkey sausage" looked more like kielbasa that may have been cut up to make it look like there was more on the plate. It was warm when it was brought out and down to room temperature about half way through the meal. Now, for the "nickeling and diming"! There was an extra charge for "lettuce and tomato," and avocado, and to substitute egg whites for whole eggs, and to use a credit card. While I do not have an issue, in general, with the idea of charging extra for "extras." For the amount they charged for the lettuce and tomato, and the avocado, they could have purchased a whole head of lettuce, a whole tomato, and a whole avocado. If you need to or want to raise your prices, raise them. Please do not "nickel and dime" us. Credit cards are as convenient for vendors as they are for customers. If you do not want to pay the credit card fees, do not take credit cards. I would expect an immediate and precipitous drop in your revenue, more than what you would be paying in credit card fees. A lunch consisting of diner fare for four adults and a child cost over $100. If I had known this sooner, I would have went to one of the other "finer" restaurants in the area. I hope that this enables others to make more informed dining choices. read more

French toast was burnt on one side, no sign that any egg was used just slice of brioche thrown on a grill where onions and peppers were cooked. the French toast tasted like onions!!! steer clear of this diner, they can't make something as basic as French toast. read more

Prices here have gone comically high. They're charging high end restaurant prices for basic diner food. I understand inflation caused some price increases to cover costs, but this is pure price gouging. This used to be my favorite diner in the area, and this review brings me no joy, but their prices are wildly overpriced. Sadly I won't be eating here till they fix their overpriced menu. read more

Went here yesterday in between a sad event with my family. We called ahead, as we were a party of 20, and we were accommodated right away. We sat in 2 separate tables, but that was okay. Restaurant was clean, and overall not that crowded. Our Server was awesome, and accommodated us promptly with drinks. Some of us ordered alcohol, some of us ordered sodas like i ordered a root beer, and most of us were fine with just water. Now, a little bit of a mess up was that i finished my root beer, but instead of asking if i wanted a root beer, they just refilled it with water. it is fine tho, as water is the best thing for your body anyways. I ordered the short stack of pancakes, which was big, and i didn't even finish, but it was good. The other portions of everything else was also somewhat big, which is good. overall enjoyed this place. only con is that the food was a bit pricey. read more

I've been going to this diner since I'm a kid and I've always loved it every time I've gone! Some of my favs are the southwest pancake wrap, chicken fingers, and the Mohegan wrap! Their ranch is the BEST. read more

Picture this: It's 3 AM in New York, you and your boyfriend just saw a movie of questionable quality starring Dennis Quaid (it shall remain nameless, but it involves a house and a lawn mower), and you're craving ice cream. Everywhere is closed, but this craving is REAL. What's a girl to do? Enter Mohegan Diner, to the rescue for all of our late night ice cream binges! I cannot speak with authority on anything at Mohegan other than the fantastic and huge banana split, which comes to the table in all its rustic 1950s soda shop charm, complete with three massively heaping scoops of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, piles of whipped cream, cherries, bananas, and chocolate sauce. All this for the low, low price of $7.95?! It's a miracle! Coupled with the fun and sassy service you know and love from a proper New York diner plus clean booths and no one who gives you any issues with just ordering ice cream at 3:30 AM, and you have a recipe that keeps us coming back for more. So the next time the wee hours roll around and you're looking for a late night snack without breaking the bank... Mohegan Diner is the place to go! read more

Every time I come here I leave thinking why why WHY did I come back? The staff is always friendly - that's the only thing keeping them from getting 1 star. Our waitress was very playful with y 18 month old which gets her brownie points. The food has really gone downhill from years ago. I ordered a fried egg n cheese on a roll ... It came out cooked well done with a firm yolk... Yuck! I asked my server to bring it back as have them make a new egg with a runny yolk... When it came out it was thick and gross. The bun tasted stale too... I should have just stuck to a deli for my favorite breakfast sandwich. Oh well... Hopefully I won't be back too soon read more

Food was good, place is clean ...I would definitely come back . I had the quesadilla and my husband ordered ordered a Cesar wrap and got a Cesar salad , lol Close enough , lol Then for desert we got the strawberry cheesecake. All good and the service was excellent . Not too crowded so we didn't wait at all to be seated and served . read more

Went to the diner about a month ago. there was a fellow there with a beard without a mask. He worked there. Then a woman came in with two teen aged girls and they were all over the place with no masks. When I mentioned the lack of mask wearing to our server she replied that the woman was his wife. Who cares of that was his wife and possibly his kids. rules are rules Haven't been back since and won't be going back. Their lack of respect for the rules and their customers was shocking. read more

This review is breakfast only (pic uploaded). Based on service, cleanliness and price, I prefer Mohegan Diner over New City Diner, its nearest rival in Cortlandt Manor. Free Wi-fi. Tip: request a booth by a window if you want to read. Unusually dark for a diner. Location Alert: Yelp's Google map on the side is incorrect. But if you bring up a Google map, then location is correct. Yes, Mohegan Diner is on Route 6, but closer to Lexington Avenue than shown as on the Yelp map. Funny. Most diners sell advertising for their paper placemats...Mohegan Diner sells advertising on their coffee mugs (pic uploaded) read more

The Mohegan Diner is the definition of a sweet diner in a Big 'small town'. The food is always delicious, but what keeps me and everyone I know coming back is their staff. The waitstaff, the management and even the bidders are all so sincere, fun and are just plain happy to be there! Full of laughs always! Thank you- Mohegan Diner for being such a staple of our community that is near and dear to all of our hearts :) read more

Waited awhile for the food but had the French onion soup which was really good! The breakfast crepes are packed with nutella, a good or bad thing depending who you are. Husbands hungry man breakfast was underwhelming according to him, one sausage was not up to his standards as most diners give at least two for a hungry man. Our waiter was nice and checked up on us. Very average dinner with great French onion soup. Oh and please don't judge me that I had French onion soup with my crepes. read more

Breakfast review: Pancakes are good (not Patio great) and omelettes are fresh and well cooked. Service is prompt and friendly this day, but the diner is sparsely populated on the day after Thanksgiving. Asked to change seating after being directed to the booth closest to the cashier and bus stand, which was silly given the emptiness. Asked for a window booth, which greatly "lightened" the meal. Not sure what the hostess was thinking. Free wi-fi was nice! The men's room would benefit from some air freshening (it is clean). Prefer Pastels or the Patio II in Peekskill read more

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that it smells like the cafeteria at sleep away camp. Not a bad thing, just triggered an unexpected memory. They have a great diner menu. Parking gets a bit tight sometimes. Service was pleasant and prompt. I had breakfast on a Friday. The place was pretty dark and not a lot of customers. I expect they do more lunch and dinner business. I love that they serve Pepsi products. The fruit salad I got with my egg white omelette was surprisingly fresh cut fruit. Good diner. read more

Super friendly family place. Great diner food. Fun ambiance. Lots of locals who know the by name is always a great sign

I have been eating at this diner since 1987. I ordered steak and eggs today and the steak was stringy and full of sinew. I called it to the managers attention quietly, and I told him that I wanted to point this out to him as a friend, but that his quality has obviously dropped. I said I wanted him to know that it's recognized, that it has dropped and I didn't want him to harm his business by focusing on profits. He childishly told me to not order the steak next time I came, and I'm here to tell you that there will not be a next time . I am way beyond disappointed. read more

Walked in on a rainy Monday - mid morning, for brunch with a friend. Not crowded at all, lots of booths opened. The waiter appeared annoyed, unfriendly and pointed to a corner and told us to sit there. He arrived at our table with menus, throwing them on the table, again annoyed and unfriendly, walking away quickly. Upon ordering our food, the waiter arrived with the wrong order. When we explained there was a mistake, he tried to be adamant that he did not make a mistake (I ordered scrambled egg whites, he forgot to request egg whites only). This diner is unfriendly from beginning to end....staff appear annoyed to be serving people. The locals nearby know that this diner is not known for customer service....its the last resort when feeling hungry and desperate. read more

Disgusting food here. Took forever to get the food, my friend didn't even get her food half a hour after i got mine. It took someone at our table a hour just to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese on the side. The prices are outrageous for disgusting food. read more

Just, no. They don't care. The corned beef for my Reuben was grey. And how do you mess up a black and white cookie??? Just, no.

How can you possibly screw up soup?? It's SOUP. Had the French onion last night at about 2am (hahah yeahhhhh it was a beer evening) and I swear, it was like a liquid salt lick. I love salty but this actually hurt to consume. So friggin bad!! I would have been better off to eat a ball of playdoh. I'm putting my foot down, and NEVER coming here again, no matter what. read more

I came here with my boyfriend & his parents for lunch and I have to say that the experience & food was underwhelming. The waiter was inattentive as it clearly looked like they were understaffed & didn't really come and ask if we needed anything, so when we did we had to flag another worker there for help. I ordered the Mexicana omelette topped with chili (which I did not like) that came with potatoes and toast. The potatoes were incredibly under seasoned and the omelette was just ok. The only thing I really liked were the crispy fries that came with the souvlaki platter my boyfriend ordered. When I go to a diner I don't expect to be blown away by the food, but I was expecting a better dining experience here, which I unfortunately did not get. read more

I love the Mohegan Diner. I've been to countless diners, but this one is by far the best one in my experience. The food is great! They have the yummiest French fries ever (they are more like potato wedges). I've tried countless things on the menu and I have to say they were all pretty good for a diner. I would say their strong point is breakfast foods like omelettes, pancakes and waffles. The best part is if you want fruit with your food, its fresh. If you want some strawberries with your pancakes, you get fresh strawberries, not the fake strawberry syrup goop. They put IHOP to shame. The service is amazingly quick which is awesome. The staff is very nice and helpful- they check up on you often and make sure everything is good and check to see if you need anything else. They are open 24 hours so if you want 2 a.m. pancakes, you are in luck! This diner is also quite big, I've never had to wait for a table. They are most popular Sunday morning for breakfast/brunch so there may be a wait then but probably not a long one. read more

The Mohegan Diner used to be a fantastic establishment, at least for a diner. But that was back in the proverbial day, before they had expanded and the food went downhill. Someone thought a fancier dining room would distract long-time patrons from decreased food quality. But I was not fooled! The diner has also gotten more expensive. And gross. Once I flipped over my fork to find a giant pink and purple glob of unable-to-be-identified whatever. Management has also gotten... more irritating, and there's a new credit card minimum ($10)! Mohegan Diner, we used to come to you in 10+ masses of high school students, and while we were annoying and loud and whatever, it was usually late enough for you not to care, or you dealt with it anyway. The food was better and I needed to add less salt. Please go back to those days, please. read more
