Moes is so good. This is the best moes and all the employees are so friendly and chatty. Sometimes they burn the stack but its ok. A burnt stack is better than a chipotle anything. Yay moes

What's left of my steak bowl.

Average food and service. The chips taste as though they have no salt. The rice is dry. My husband ordered the big burrito and I ordered a steak bowl. Both were fine but not overly delicious. It's in a dying plaza where many of the businesses have closed. Not much more to say...

I had a salad with chicken and ranch dressing. It was very good and filling. Tables and bathroom could have been cleaner.

We went on a Wednesday, where the special was fajitas for $5.99 - such a good deal. My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the camerones a la diabla. The chips and salsa were so good. The chips were crunchy and thick. Good for dipping. I was disappointed that I didn't find any of the same chips in the supermarket attached to the restaurant. I'd come back for sure!

In the grocery you can find various grocery items including fresh and packaged. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner and taco Tuesday which can get packed. I love the burritos, quesadillas, carnitas, fajitas and fresh guacamole. They're fabulous with a great selection of prepared foods, deli, and vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The workers here are helpful even though this place can get extremely hectic. I'm positive that a lot has to do with the excellent management. This was very good. I was in Ocala, with some friends and we have gift cards for Harry's Seafood,…read morebut when we got there, the line was out the door with an hour wait. Right across the street, is Cantina. We decided to give it a go. They have specials every night. We went on a Thursday, so the special was 3 tacos and a house margarita or Mexican beer for $15 dollars. It comes with unlimited chips and salsa also. They exclude a few taco types but almost all of them are included. I had the birria, shrimp and asada. Other people at our table had the ground beef and chicken ones also. They were all delicious. The house margarita was yummy and not watered down. Really hard to beat $15 for a meal and a drink. Also, our server was fantastic and highly attentive. When we were getting ready to leave, live entertainment was getting started. They had a wonderful performer singing Christmas music. The decor is modern, dimly lit with a wall of windows, looking out on the center of downtown Ocala. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. My only minor complaint was that the bathroom was really dark, but still no real problem. I will definitely go back and check out some of the other specials. Honestly, I should have bought a gift card here instead of Harry's. The food was delicious and the restaurant wasn't nearly as loud and frenetic.

This place should be killing it given the location but OMG...this has got to be worse "Mexican food" we have ever tried. And again OMG...the house margarita is straight up sweet and sour mix. My husband ordered enchiladas and it looked like they dumped a whole can (because I know it wasn't fresh) of sauce over them...it was dripping off the plate. I ordered fajitas and I have NEVER seen fajitas come to a table with no sizzling...they didn't even have a smell. They had absolutely no flavor. I feel like this place has so much potential given the location but it clearly needs new management and definitely new cooks. We thought we would salvage the dining experience with a piece of chocolate cake to go...again OMG the tiniest sliver of cake for $10.00. There are too many great restaurants in Ocala to waste another penny on this place.

We…read morearrived at 7:30 and many diners had completed their meal and were leaving with to go boxes in hand. That indicated to me plentiful portion sizes- a plus. The entry was clean, well decorated, and well staffed. It was too small to handle all the leaving, arriving, and pickup traffic but there was seating inside and out. At any rate, our wait was short. We were shown to a comfortable table, promptly greeted, and provided with a basket of hearty corn chips and a great salsa- just a little spicy but also mild enough for my husband's tender palate. Angel was our server and she was great: attentive, pleasant, and informative. We ordered two appetizers:,mofongo and chichirrones. Both were great. The avocado sauce accompanying the mofongo was very flavorful, bright and tangy. The pork was well seasoned and had crispy and tender bits without and excess fat. It was just right. My daughter ordered the reine (white flaky fish with yellow rice and black beans), my husband had beef quesadillas with rice, and I had the chicken and shrimp Monterey. The fish was new to us all and was very good- like hake or cod. I don't know how mine tasted- I ate too much of the appetizers to have any room. But two of the 7 (!) to go boxes were just mine and we will ALL dine well tonight, too. An added bonus, while there, I learned that they made Sancocho (a delicious soup/stew/heaven in a bowl) on Saturdays. SOOOOO, we placed a pick up order for two large containers and the desserts we couldn't justify last night- carrot cake and flan. There's no doubt we'll go back. Paella and fajitas are at the top of my list but I suspect that the entire menu will be worth a try. We have lived all over the country as well as traveled and often found good Mexican food hard to find. We are thrilled to know Latinos y mas is in oca
