Scheduled flights were all sold out or cancelled. I really wanted to get home sooner rather than later. And a 5+ hour bus ride just doesn't sound that appealing at the moment. I called around a few places and got some online quotes. Some of the quotes were outrageous and others seemed uninterested. Micheal took my call and emailed me a competitive quote considering I would be in a 4 passenger jet. Captain Memley met me at the FBO accompanied by his First Officer Nassera. A quick swipe of my credit card and we were in the plane within 6 minutes of my arrival and wheels up just shortly after that. I really wanted to sleep through my flight (I did mention I wasn't feeling well right?) but I was impressed by the performance and avionics on this plane. The takeoff rotation seemed really short to me and I just couldn't take my eyes off the flight crew working the obviously modern controls that would make some in service commercial planes look antiquated. The flight itself was uneventful as it should be. The cabin was quieter than I expected and came stocked with various beverages and snacks. If I could give an extra star for having Fiji bottled water instead of that cheap undrinkable stuff from Costco I would. Thanks Captain Memley for a quick trip home. If I need to get somewhere fast, I know who to call.

But as an aircraft owner and pilot, the front desk staff is surly and inattentive and often one arrives to a slow re-fueling process and it is not uncommon for one to arrive with no marshalling into the parking spot for aircraft even mid day. Car service access to the ramp or rental car placement on ramp is unreliable. If you can, land at San Jose or even Hayward for better service.

Customers fly in the most luxurious planes with all their needs catered to. The customer service is great. Everyone is so kind and friendly! The planes itself are beautiful and so comfy! When flying on a regular plane, the seats are leather and you can angle the seat at almost any comfort setting! I know a lot of planes do that, but I guarantee their planes are much more comfy. Also there is private parking so you don't have to worry about your car. This type of private airline is extremely pricey, but if you want to fly in comfort and glam, this place is perfect. Chris (my pilot, and i believe the owner of the company) was waiting for me, on time, with the plane already gassed up and ready to go. even had an ice chest of snacks and beverages for the flight!! Now keep in mind, I was a first time flyer, and I was pretty nervous.. When we arrived at the Airport we were greeted by our pilot and instructor Jim. He was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable which made my son feel at ease. After a through lesson and overview of the Cesna 187 it was time for my son take the pilots seat. I was happy to tag along. My son read the pre flight checklist from the POA and off we went. Once the plane was at altitude my son had his chance to fly. He was encouraged to bank left and right and shown how to keep the nose leval. It was very exciting to see my son flying the plane. Sadly after about 20 min it was time to land. Jim landed us safely and beautifully. It was a great experience! I don't know who liked it more me or my son? I encourage anyone who has ever wanted to fly a plane to give it a try. In addition it is a very unique and fun gift to give.Years from now my son won't remember what toys or games I buy him. All planes were relocated outside for this event, except for 2 planes. These 2 planes were the back drop, of this function. Welcome, Introductions 630 - 700 pm Drinks & Hors d'oeuvres 630 - 730 pm Buffet - style dinner 730 - 900 pm Door prizes and Silent auction 900 - 930 pm Live band "Golden Caddilacs" 730 - 1030 pm Fund raiser for Charitable 501C3 Snehacare for abandoned children with HIV Http://snehacarehome.org Everything was set up accordingly. They had 3 bartenders, making sure everyone drinks were topped off. LOL The band was playing good music, which had a lot of people on the dance floor, including me and van. The buffet style meal was plentiful and delicious. The line for this meal seemed to flow without hiccups. It seemed Venus was in charge of this department. (she works front desk) Job well done I saw Chris (operations manager) running around and making sure things were in place, like extension cords, to make this event happen.. The silent auctions consist of paintings, trip to Mexico, etc... They also had candles for sale. Not sure up this point how this turned out. Augustine, the owner, greeted everyone, making it such a warm welcoming environment. It was nice to see people involved in aviation and being able to meet them first hand. Can't wait till next party hosted by Augustine !!

I kept seeing Flyers Academy ads all over advertising multi rating in 5 days, so I started looking…read moreinto getting my multi done. I called around to quite a few schools and most were booked out a month or two, which actually worked out because I still needed to finish my instrument rating. Unfortunately, after my instructor left, things kind of stalled out. I wasn't making any progress, so I called Flyers Academy and explained my situation--that I needed to get my instrument completed and wanted to move right into my multi. Omar, the owner, called me a few hours later saying we can get it done now. They were able to squeeze me in, get my instrument wrapped up, schedule a checkride, then roll right into my multi and another checkride. It was a lot of work and definitely an intense 10 days, but the entire crew was incredible. From the moment I arrived, Omar made sure I was taken care of. The operation is extremely well organized, the airplanes were clean and well maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. The instructors genuinely care about your success and put in long days to make sure you're prepared. Most days started around 7 or 8 in the morning and went until 10 at night. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me along the way--Sam, Sunny, Mike, Dom, and especially Vivian. Vivian was an outstanding instructor and went above and beyond every day to make sure I understood everything and was fully prepared. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Seriously, thank you again Vivian. If you're serious about getting ratings done and are willing to put in the work, I highly recommend Flyers Academy. They also have great and clean accommodations for anyone traveling in, including space if you're staying in a van, which was a huge plus for me. Thank you again to the entire Flyers Academy team. The CFI'S is unprofessional disorganized, and clearly more interested in taking your money than actually teaching you how to fly.scheduling is a joke,instructors cancel last minute,and there's zero accountability,when things go wrong . I burned through thousands of dollars and months of my life here with almost nothing to show for it ,if you're thinking about training here,di yourself a favor abd run other way.
