Okay we have flown JSX a few times and so far every flight has had a major delay. The last time we flew our take off was delayed, and then they announced we needed to fly Oakland to refuel- 2+ hours late! Today we had a flight that was scheduled for 1:30 when we booked, sometime later the flight time was changed to 3:35 departure - okay we knew in advance. Please BEWARE of this so-called luxury airline. My wife and I booked a round trip flight from Concord Ca. to Orange County ( an hour flight each way) The cost was $909 dollars. On the morning of the 4:00 PM flight my wife checked with JSX and the flight was ON TIME.....approximately 2 hours and 18 minutes before the scheduled departure time my wife received a TEXT and an email stating that due to "weather issues" in Concord our flight departure was diverted to OAKLAND. ....we didn't receive a phone call and thank GOD my wife was wearing her Apple Watch that alerted her to the text. I phoned JSX and after a long wait on the phone I was told if I could not make it to Oakland on my own THEY instructed me to show up in Concord and they would transfer us by bus to Oakland. I aggressively stated how unprofessional it was to contact us 2 hours and 18 minutes before the scheduled flight time by text . When we got to Concord the sun was shining bright, there was NO WIND, there was NO RAIN, there was NO FOG..and there were several airplanes flying over our heads. Now keep in mind Oakland is 21 air miles from Concord. I aggressively voiced this to JSX staff. I was told that JSX had "different' rules regarding weather conditions! ...OAKLAND and CONCORD HAVE THE SAME WEATHER!..At no time did JSX offer to return my money. Well because of my hostile attitude I was denied boarding. I then demanded my money back and JSX agreed to do this. Luckily I scheduled a backup flight on Southwest because I'd read JSX is a , HIT or MISS, airline.....well they certainly missed with me. They then sent me another email banning me and my wife for life....did they really believe I'd ever book another flight with them....no thanks JSX. read more

The week I flew, many JSX passengers were either stranded there or subjected to lengthy delays. 5) very few frequencies and no back-up planes or other flight options if there is a cancellation or extensive delay as they are the only airline serving Concord. The newly opened Concord Airport terminal at Buchanan Field is brand spanking new , spacious, and modern. At the gate you'll find a big picture window to watch all of the flight activity. The Concord-Orange County airfare was $70 more than Southwest from Oakland.....well worth the premium IMHO. read more

I must declare taking JetSuite X has to be the best thing that ever happened to me especially during Thanksgiving 2024. Why? For once I don't have to worry about the drama that airport security makes me go through. Just Uber right in and you are done. No worries no hassles, I am paying for prime minister quality but not too much of a splurge. I am a frequent flyer to John Wayne Airport and when you are on a whim, JSX does the trick. You can bring whatever you want to eat or drink and it feels good. Staff is very nice too. I would ride this plane again if I am in a rush. Hopefully then I can take a photo of the inside of the plane as well. It's not every day a person gets to ride a semi private jet. It is well worth the commute from San Jose to Concord. read more

Dear JSX, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE improve the communication about diverted flights in Concord. I have had three inbound flights re-routed to Oakland. I want to be safe and of course do not want to be a passenger in a plane that is taking risks but you should be more forthcoming with passengers about the problems you are having at this airport so we can decide if we want to take the risk of being re-routed. More transparency about how many in-bound and out-bound flights are scheduled in/out of Concord but actually depart/land in Oakland would be appreciated. This last diversion we were informed of our alternate destination mid-flight, its a 60 min flight so at some point before we boarded someone knew there was a chance of not landing at our ticketed location. Had a fabulous trip with Jet Suite X this past week. Arrived to Concord in the middle of a rain storm and they were great to offer umbrellas. Check in was a breeze and yes, 30 minutes before is plenty of time. Lots if parking out front as well. The waiting area has Starbucks coffee, chai lattes, hot cocoa, snacks, etc. No TSA, no restrictions on liquids for boarding. Boarding was just as simple and quick. The plane is small with only 10 rows, but that means quick loading, unloading and service. The legroom in these seats is like nothing I have ever seen! Plenty of under seat storage too. I swear that the bag I usually have to shove under airline seats and squish fit under there with room to spare. Wonderful snacks and drink selection and friendly staff. There was a little delay on our take off due to a maintenance issue, but I would rather be safe. The flight home was just as fantastic. Go Rentals was also easy and great. More expensive than walking over and renting from one of the airport companies, but super easy to walk off the plane, sign, and drive away. Also easy to return the car and they did great when we needed to cut our trip short and return the car early. Jet suite x was also wonderful about changing our return reservations very last minute. We needed to come home a few days early as well as add an additional person to our return flight. They were great with helping with the adjustment. I recently flew from Concord to Burbank and my experience was great. If you're looking to be dropped off right in front of where you check in, the lounge is the parking lot at the very end of John Glenn Dr. (Maps was not accurate). I arrived 20 minutes before and saw others arrive 10 minutes before scheduled departure. As I waited, I made myself some brewed coffee using their awesome Starbucks machine. They have 3 drinks to choose from, including decaf. They also had a few snacks, and plenty of seating. The process goes as follows: 1) Check in at the desk. They asked for my ID, and how many bags I'd be checking in. There are no overhead compartments on the flight so any suitcase will count, they allow 2 free of charge. They give you a list of prohibited items and trust that you tell the truth, because they do not even check purses that you bring on (sketch). Then you're given your boarding pass. 2) Wait for them to announce boarding. I was supposed to board at 9:10 for takeoff at 9:20. I overheard the staff and it seemed a little unorganized on this process. The announcement was delayed by just a few minutes due to the process of having the crew give the staff an OK. We then lined up, walked over to the plane and took a seat at our assigned seat, which is also printed on the pass incase you forget. 3) The flight was short - about an hour. I had a single seat on the left side. There is plenty of leg room, and even a outlet if you have to charge! I knew that there was no WiFi yet, but I saw elsewhere that there was messaging capabilities (similar to Southwest's complimentary messaging). I grew frustrated trying to figure out how to enable messaging, due to the lack of information on any of the pamphlets. I asked the flight attendant who told me it will pop up on my WiFi and I can connect, but nothing showed up for me when I generally never have phone problems. As for the drinks and snacks - plenty of options. Alcohol is complimentary which is nice. I had a boxed water and some veggie stick chips. 4) When we landed in Burbank, we didn't have to wait long to leave. We waited in the lounge for our luggage which took a few minutes to come out. They cart it in and you're free to take your luggage and leave. Overall, a great experience but for a fairly new and private airline, there could be some improvements to make JSX more competitive with commercial companies. I definitely would fly more if they had refunds similar to Southwest, which allow for more flexibility when it comes to booking/changing flights and not worrying about extra fees involved (applicable to the hop on (cheaper) fares). I think one of the biggest perks of flying with JSX is the free pet policy and alcohol, and skipping lines and TSA. If you book in advance, it might be even cheaper than Southwest! read more

JetSuiteX gives people the semi-private flying experience with Embraer 135 aircrafts that fit 30 passengers. You don't have to be a Jetsuite member to book a flight. Remember, JetSuiteX is semi-private. Jetsuite (without the X) is literally flying private. Since 2016, the majority of our flights from the Bay to LA have been on JetSuiteX. They do the TSA screening prior to the flight, so upon arrival at the private terminal, there isn't a TSA line to wait through. You walk up and they check you in and then you wait for boarding in their lounges. Oakland Jetsuite Terminal is the nicest. Concord is too, but has more of a temporary office feel to it. Burbank is also nice but not as nice as Oakland. The San Kose Terminal is as nice as Oakland, except parking is more difficult. If you can fly out of the Oakland terminal, do it. Parking is right across the front entrance. Same with Concord. The secret is out about JetSuiteX. I compare prices between JetSuiteX and carriers like Southwest. I get lucky and find Jetsuite flights that are on average $30 dollars more than Southwest. That $30 is worth it to me --- semi private travel and no TSA lines. I also had to bring my dog with me every time I flew and I was really worried that things were going to not work out right but they were so nice and considerate and their customers service with extraordinary, to say the least. I just realized I forgot to write my review!!! My family and I flew from Concord to Burbank in August. From start to finish, it was a great experience. My only complaint is some of the other passengers felt it was okay to lay on the seats so that others could not sit down. The check in process was very easy, walk up, show your ID, they take your bags, you go sit in the lounge (very comfortable temperature in Concord), have some water, or a snack, the little fridge they have does not keep the drinks cold, nor are the bottles of water cold on the flight. The flight was perfect, two first time flyers with us, both children, and they did so well! The flight attendant was very good with them. The snacks aren't that great (sorry, but I have to be honest), they're mostly for people who like to eat cardboard, but the drinks were great! We took off on time, landed a little early, and we also rented from Go Rentals ... great service there too! Upon landing in Burbank, we walked off the plane, in to the hanger, and the Go Rental representative was there waiting with my contract and keys, the car was spotless, with five bottle of ice cold water in it! Amazing service!! We flew home from Burbank to Concord, and it was a little different. The staff at Burbank was not very friendly or helpful on the ground, actually, one woman was quite rude. I found a nice quiet "introvert" room to find solace in until it was time to leave. They also have an air conditioned lounge that I accidentally found where they had great snacks and ice cold drinks! The flight home was packed!!! A full flight for sure, but I was still more comfortable on this small jet than ANY commercial airline I've ever been on. That extra leg room for someone who is claustrophobic was amazing. Once again, the bottled water was warm, not cold. Once we landed in Concord, we walked off the plane, grabbed our luggage and left. There wasn't anyone in the office to greet us, which was fine. Here's the deal, I'm very claustrophobic, I have severe anxiety, and I'm a fit fat girl, so, any plane I get on is scary. It had been twenty years since I'd been on a plane. JetSuiteX made all of my fears go away!! They told me it was like flying first class in every seat (the seats aren't really first class seats, but that leg room is amazing) - I just focused on my family, and looking out the window, and was fine. While it's a small plane, it does not feel that way at all. JUST DO NOT use the bathroom if you're bigger than a size 2!!! You might get stuck. Ha ha ha! The seats are comfortable enough ... I never saw any USB plug or anything like that, and the WIFI did NOT work, AT ALL on either flight. I had my phone in airplane mode, and tried to connect a few times, mostly for music. I asked both flight attendants to help, but they were kind of dismissive about the WIFI. No biggie, this was still by far the best airline I've ever flown! I hate that word is getting out, but, it is what it is, and maybe over time, prices will go down. I hope also that some day they'll start flying in to Kalispell Montana!! A taste of luxury at an affordable price - wish I could fly JetSuiteX exclusively! I flew down to Burbank from Concord on one of their luxury jets with about 12 other passengers. Comfy leather seats, free alcoholic beverages and snacks and an allowance for two suitcases and one carry-on with no extra charge. The best part was the process of checking in. It was seamless, smooth and super quick. After we received our boarding pass, we were invited to sit in the well-appointed lounge area and enjoy complementary coffee, yogurt and pastries. It was so easy to park as well, so the whole process from arrival to lift off was about 45 minutes, tops! Sure beats stewing in a line at SFO. One little glitch on the Burbank end...their Hangar is about a half mile from the main airport, so if you rent a car there, be prepared to take a ten minute walk with your luggage. Flew from Concord to Vegas for Labor Day weekend since it was the same price for Southwest. I was a little hesitant at first because you don't go through security and I don't know know how they screen folks or if they check the luggage. Seems like something is just waiting to happen. When I got there they took my bag and I just relaxed in the lounge. They had coffee, snacks, etc., which was nice. They boarded and left on time. The flight was smooth on the way to Vegas but on the way back it was pretty bumpy. Being a smaller plane you do feel more of the turbulence. Jet is a little small so if you're claustrophobic this probably isnt the best thing for you. Hit my head every time I got off the plane LOL. When you land they set your bag out on the tarmac and you get it and go. You only have to be there 30 min ahead of your flight and you can bring alcohol on the plane which was pretty awesome. There is no liquid limit either, bring on the full size hairspray. All the alcohol and snacks are included as well. I do wish they had more snack options ... I was sick of veggie chips and mango bars. Something like nuts or jerky would be nice instead of all carbs. AND I wish they sparkling wine and better top shelf alcohol bottles. Other than that it was a quick and relaxing flight. I would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or just a girls weekend. read more

What a great option to fly when you live in the Far East Bay like me. Super easy parking and you only have to be there 30 mins prior to your flight... what?!! That alone is amazing! The experience was top notch it's very close to a private jet experience. I'll use them going forward when flying to Burbank or Vegas. I've flown JSX several times and love it. Great story: My daughter flew home to the SF Bay Area from So Cal for a visit. As she's a veterinarian she HAD to be back to So Cal on Sunday night so that she could work at her pet clinic on Monday. Sick dogs and cats do not care about delayed flights. She had reservations on another airline, the one with low fares and unassigned seating, but they had been in the news a lot lately for delayed flights due to a COVID protest (though they officially deny that's the issue). I admonished my daughter that, due to this and the potential delays, she should take JSX. She confidently predicted to me that there would not be a problem, her flight would leave on time. Turns out her flight WAS delayed as I had predicted and I said "Okay, that's the first sign of trouble; I am willing to pay for it if you want to use JSX." She agreed to take me up on my offer and I drove her to Oakland in the pouring rain to get her to her flight. We got there a bit early and I suggested that she take the earlier flight (at 7pm vs 7:55pm), which she did, and she got home by 8pm. The other airline had two more delays on her flight that evening, finally leaving after midnight and getting in at around 1am. That's one-o'clock in the morning folks! She would've had to sit in the airport for six hours had she not taken JSX. And she would've been exhausted at work the next day from getting in so late. Thankfully JSX came to the rescue!! As a bonus, my daughter didn't have to go through the security nightmare, the horrible terminal experience (babies crying, loudspeakers blaring, painfully uncomfortable seats, CNN on the TVs, etc., etc.), AND she even enjoyed a cocktail in her luxurious plane seat. VERY happy experience. And the dogs and cats were very happy too, as The Best Vet in the West (my term ;-) was able to be present to help them get better. Thanks for reading! Go JSX!! They don't honor their word. They change the itinerary without notice. My flight left 10 min early and there is no assistance if you need help with anything. Once you call their service they are rude and unhelpful. I called I explained my problem, and they said "I don't know what you want me to do about that." Very unhelpful and rude. Once something goes wrong, there is no assistance at JSX. If your flight leaves before the time on your itinerary, there is no refund. No assistance. So the "suggestion" to arrive 20 min early is actually mandatory. Because they depart 10 min early. Other than no TSA, there is nothing better about this flight. It's better to fly with a bigger airline that offers more assistance with changes. read more

The customer service has been great and the perks of using their services are wonderful. I've seen some reviews about the cost going up, etc., but you gotta keep in mind, this is a private jet you're flying on and they are catering to you and only 29 other people at most, not the hundreds which would be on another airline. So I got to fly with JetsuiteX for the first time (finally!!) On Friday 5/10/2019 and it was everything I'd hoped for and more! I've heard mixed things about other locations but I have no complaints about Concord, CA's location. We were allowed one free checked bag under 50lbs as well as a carry on that fits under our seat (no overhead available). Complimentary snacks and coffee were available in the lobby and parking was free (dispite what you've heard). Oakland may not have free parking but they service a much larger area so that's easy to understand. Anyways, we boarded a nice clean Jet which seats about 30 people. Lots of leg room and AC power outlets!! That's a big deal to me! Also were given complimentary cocktails, wine, and spirits both ways on our flight. For the price, how could anyone complain? Excellent experience and I will fly with them again. Special shout out to Roshonda, our in flight attendant on our flight to Vegas. She was super sweet and attentive.
