On the morning of the 4:00 PM flight my wife checked with JSX and the flight was ON TIME.....approximately 2 hours and 18 minutes before the scheduled departure time my wife received a TEXT and an email stating that due to "weather issues" in Concord our flight departure was diverted to OAKLAND. ....we didn't receive a phone call and thank GOD my wife was wearing her Apple Watch that alerted her to the text. I phoned JSX and after a long wait on the phone I was told if I could not make it to Oakland on my own THEY instructed me to show up in Concord and they would transfer us by bus to Oakland. I aggressively stated how unprofessional it was to contact us 2 hours and 18 minutes before the scheduled flight time by text . When we got to Concord the sun was shining bright, there was NO WIND, there was NO RAIN, there was NO FOG..and there were several airplanes flying over our heads. Now keep in mind Oakland is 21 air miles from Concord. I aggressively voiced this to JSX staff. I was told that JSX had "different' rules regarding weather conditions! ...OAKLAND and CONCORD HAVE THE SAME WEATHER!..At no time did JSX offer to return my money. Well because of my hostile attitude I was denied boarding. I then demanded my money back and JSX agreed to do this. Luckily I scheduled a backup flight on Southwest because I'd read JSX is a , HIT or MISS, airline.....well they certainly missed with me. They then sent me another email banning me and my wife for life....did they really believe I'd ever book another flight with them....no thanks JSX.

Adj: Acceptable, Affordable, and a bit Above Average…read more So this is a budget airlines and the expectations should really match that. We've flown Allegiant Air a number of times and on average it's been pretty good. We pack light and only bring on our backpacks so we avoid the baggage fees. There are lots of fees, but we just don't buy any of those extras, such as picking our own seats. Since our flights are usually from Stockton to Phoenix, AZ, the flights are short and therefore we can put up with sitting in less than ideal locations on the plane. They always seat parents with their children, at least 1 parent with 1 child, so no child is ever left to sit by themselves, so the whole choose your own seat thing isn't important to us as long as there's 1 parent with 1 or both of our children. In fact, when you're booking your flights, a child cannot book on their own, there must be an adult's ticket booked at the same time, that ensures safety and also that the parent on the same booking will be seated with that/those child(ren). The comfort level isn't great as the seats are quite hard, they're acceptably cushy, but bring your own donut seat cushion or whatever you need if you are looking for extra back and bottom support. We like that the planes are Airbus and not Boeing ones, but that's not the biggest thing. The most important issue of course is safety, and we've experienced very professionally piloted Allegiant flights that are safe and smooth. The flight attendants have been good to great, and the pilots very competent and professional. 1-star taken for when they do have some delays (necessary) and some of them have been quite long such as waiting to depart b/c of some technical issues (understandable) and also once we were waiting for our checked item (really discouraged us from checking any luggage ever again) for over an hour after arrival. Overall, we like Allegiant Air and plan to keep flying with them since they are Acceptable, Affordable, and a bit Above Average. =)

At the time, I also chose my seat. The isle seat in an exit row. NARRATIVE: Heading to Vegas to attend the 2025 Big Smoke cigar event, I didn't want to drive so, I decided to book a flight out of Stocktons airport on Allegiant Air. On the date of my flight, I arrive about two hours early and as luck would have it, my flight was already delayed over an hour. Even though I had already purchased my round trip tickets and seats in advance, I checked in with their agents at the counter and presented my military ID because, hidden in the fine print of their perks, military, including reserves and veterans, Allegiant offers two free checked bags, priority boarding and two carry on items at no cost. When the plane finally arrived, the boarding process was smooth and effortless. The flight to Vegas was took a little over an hour and it was uneventful. No complementary drinks or snack offered but they do offer those service at a cost. **credit cards only. No cash.** My return flight that Sunday was delayed also but not just an hour. It was delayed over three hours. SCENE: Allegiant Air operates out of the Stockton Metropolitan Airport on most days with flight to either Vegas or Arizona. The TSA process at SCK is quick and easy, especially if you have TSA Pre or Global Entry. RECOMMENDATION(S): I'd fly Allegiant Air again but, I'd give myself extra hours for their known delays.

Fly me to the moon Let me play among the stars Let me see what spring is like On Jupiter and Mars This week I was flying out of Vegas and the unthinkable happened. My first flight was delayed by two hours which meant I'd miss my connecting flight to Oakland. Note to self. Always fly direct if possible. What happened next just blew me away and made me a Southwest customer for life. * At the Customer Service station in Vegas, the kind Southwest lady booked me on the next direct flight to Oakland at no additional charge. * My baggage didn't make the direct flight to Oakland but the super nice Customer Service lady at Oakland Airport (shout out to Jamina) processed my baggage report and made sure I was alerted when my bag arrived on the next flight which was in about an hour. * Southwest gave me a $150 credit for my troubles. * Southwest refunded my $35 baggage charge. Checking a bag was a breeze in the priority lane, and the regular line wasn't super long, but there were people even at that hour. Boarding was also smooth with the numbered zones and assigned seating. The Oakland gate areas are super small thought with a limited amount of seating. I'd imagine on a busy travel day, working your way to your gate could be an issue. It's probably the least appealing gate area of any Southwest terminal I've been in. Luckily, I wasn't there long.

When I read these reviews I was horrified and worried I'd be charged for something random, or the airline/ airplane itself would be in horrible condition, my biggest fear was paying extra for no middle seat and coming to only see someone sitting in the middle seat. Needless to say I'd had quite the opposite experience!!! I came in at 9 on Sunday with no life at the desk, walked up to Jasmine who was nice enough to let me know my bag was ok as a carry on. I made it through security with no line at all and to the gate just in time to have a beer and a burrito. The plane and employees on it where just like any other for any other airline I've been on, I didn't have one bad experience. My seat was clean ( window seat) and no one was in the middle seat!!! For the price and experience I'll take this anytime!!! I'm definitely coming back again. Thank you tot he staff for making this enjoyable experience and definitely proving some of these negative comments wrong.

They can . **As an Emerald member within the oneworld alliance, I have consistently received complimentary seat selection benefits when flying with partner airlines, which made my recent experience with Royal Jordanian especially disappointing. **My wife and I paid an additional $140 specifically to reserve what was clearly presented as a two-seat row. Unfortunately, once onboard, we discovered it was actually part of a three-seat row. No passenger intentionally pays extra for a middle seat arrangement, so the seating presentation felt misleading and frustrating from the start. **My assigned seat, 6K, was also extremely uncomfortable and appeared to have little to no cushioning. I had to use multiple pillows and blankets simply to avoid significant back pain during the flight. For a premium international travel experience, this was unacceptable. **The customer service process prior to departure added even more frustration. I initially contacted the Detroit office seeking basic information regarding the aircraft and flight details. I was then redirected to a Chicago number, where the representative informed me they could not assist and transferred me elsewhere -- eventually leading me back to the original Detroit office. Only after several unnecessary calls did someone finally provide the information I had requested from the beginning. **To be fair, the aircraft itself was modern, clean, and visually impressive. Most of the flight attendants were professional, courteous, and clearly worked hard throughout the journey. However, the onboard environment quvickly became unpleasant due to several loud and inconsiderate passengers, while the lavatories deteriorated rapidly. Within only a few hours, sinks were clogged and restroom floors were unclean, significantly reducing overall comfort. **Overall, this was one of the most frustrating airline experiences I have encountered. While the modern aircraft and hardworking cabin crew deserve recognition, the misleading seating information, poor customer service coordination, uncomfortable seating, and declining cabin conditions overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would not choose Royal Jordanian again in the future.

Easy direct flights from a nearby airport to many destinations worth visiting and most of all, affordable semi regular routes. Airline staff have never been an issue, and the smaller airports have been great to see versus the standard massive layover hubs we are all used to with the larger airlines. All and all, it is my go to flight down south and soon to be up north with many of the recently added routes.
