Then we board at 4:20 only to have an announcement that, once again - we had to fly to Oakland to refuel "due to the wind". WTF JSX? Convenience- yes, service in-flight - great! Reliability - sucks! The Diamond DA50 seemed brand new and was very smooth and fast for a propeller aircraft. They also have a King Air for when we plan a trip with my in-laws. They seem to know the aircraft they fly very well and are certified in the Diamond brand of aircraft, which seems like its very popular these days. She informed me there was a 6-month waiting list in a flabbergasted manner. She could have inspired more confidence in their program but just made it seem as if they were not interested in my business. It has always been my dream to become a pilot. I now have the time to dedicate to this; Alpine was my closest school to home. It's a shame as I am sure they have a good instructor based on the reviews, but I will not be following up with them. I spoke to another flight school in the area near Auburn which was a much friendlier and informative experience. They were excited to tell me about their program and broke everything down for me as I am a beginner. I scheduled my intro flight with them.

I had originally called one of the only other companies in town that advertises helicopter tours in Sacramento but they weren't very helpful. In fact, the guy who answered the phone at that other company was downright rude and unwilling to quote me a price. When I kept pushing him for a quote he actually hung up on me. So, I contacted Capitol Helicopter (this time by email) instead and got an extremely nice guy named Jeff Hendry. Jeff immediately responded to my email, quoting me a price and was totally open to whatever we wanted to do, whenever we wanted to do it. My nephew and I ended up choosing a 30-minute tour of downtown Sacramento on Saturday 11/7 at 10:00 AM and it was SPECTACULAR. Our pilot, Jesse, was very friendly and made the experience so fun for us. It was definitely worth every dime and I will not hesitate to do this again should the opportunity ever present itself.

But as an aircraft owner and pilot, the front desk staff is surly and inattentive and often one arrives to a slow re-fueling process and it is not uncommon for one to arrive with no marshalling into the parking spot for aircraft even mid day. Car service access to the ramp or rental car placement on ramp is unreliable. If you can, land at San Jose or even Hayward for better service.

Customers fly in the most luxurious planes with all their needs catered to. The customer service is great. Everyone is so kind and friendly! The planes itself are beautiful and so comfy! When flying on a regular plane, the seats are leather and you can angle the seat at almost any comfort setting! I know a lot of planes do that, but I guarantee their planes are much more comfy. Also there is private parking so you don't have to worry about your car. This type of private airline is extremely pricey, but if you want to fly in comfort and glam, this place is perfect.
